Very disappointing stay – would not recommend
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We contacted the host several times about multiple issues, but most of our messages were never answered.
One of the main reasons we chose this apartment was the bathtub, as we were on a city break and wanted to relax after long days of sightseeing. Unfortunately, it could not be used because the plug was broken.
The toilet seat was broken and appeared to have been glued before, the kitchen sink was clogged, and there was a disturbing noise coming from the ceiling even when the air conditioning was switched off. The downstairs bedroom had no air conditioning at all, making it extremely hot and difficult to sleep in. Tea towels and dishcloths were also missing, so we had to buy our own.
We also lost electricity for around two hours, although this was fortunately resolved.
The most disappointing part was the lack of communication. The host confirmed by phone that she had received and read my email about the problems, yet nothing was done and our further messages went unanswered.
We have now been home for almost a week and are still waiting for a solution regarding compensation.
The apartment did not live up to what we booked and paid for. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.
