Nice stay

  • 4 of 5

It was a nice place to relax. We enjoyed it! No hot water in one of the showers and there was a sewage smell. But the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room.

The Mountains at their Best

  • 4 of 5

First of all this cabin is in a perfect location. You get the feel that you are in the mountains, but in fact you are just a hop, skip and jump away from any attraction you could want to visit. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the porch is massive. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. It has two bedrooms on the main floor one which is equipped with a shower that is easily stepped into for disabled patrons. The only addition I would possibly make here or advice patrons of is to bring a bath chair if they need one. Each bedroom on the main floor has a sink and toilet in the room which is convenient and the main bathroom has everything you need. The shower and toilet are enclosed so someone else can be at the vanity if you have a big family. The only thing I would add in this bath is maybe a safety bar by the tub to assist people with getting out of the shower. Upstairs the open loft has two full size beds and a futon that can be pulled out. Their are TVs in the loft and living room along with one of the main bedrooms. The second bedroom downstairs does not have a TV so if you like to watch TV be aware of this. The internet service was easy to hook on to and stayed up the whole time. I mention this because I have stayed in several cabins where the service was very spotty. The cabin did not have a pool table or a jucuzzi but did have a fire pit ring. We really enjoyed the porch and cooked out and set around the fire roasting marshmellows. Unlike most people we come to the mountains to relax not really to go to the attractions. So for us a nice cabin is more important than to a lot of other people because we spend 90 percent of our time there. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and would indeed stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend! The cabin was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed seeing the antique treadle sewing machine and the mounted hand drills! My 80 year old parents easily maneuvered around the cabin, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the porch, especially the swings! We will stay there again when we can work it out.

Great place to stay and close to all that the Smokies have to offer!

  • 5 of 5

I was very pleased with our stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, well-stocked cabin that is close to everything. The cabin is located close to the island in pigeon forge and brings a feeling of home while still being nestled in the woods. Just relaxing on the porch in one of the many rockers or swings would be vacation in itself. Thanks to the owners for their attempt to make sure nothing is needed with plenty of stocked kitchen items including a first aid kit! I would definitely recommend this cabin to someone who seeks cleanliness. Thanks for a memorable stay!
