A charming home with a lived-in feel, it’s the perfect place for a peaceful getaway while still being only 10 minutes from downtown Indianapolis’ top attractions. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing stay or an adventure-filled trip, this location offers the best of both worlds.

Enjoy direct access to Marott Park, known for its scenic walking trails, and unwind by the riverfront, where the tranquil sounds of the water and the surrounding nature provide the ultimate relaxation spot. With river rocks lining the White River, you can sit by the water and bask in the sun’s warmth or enjoy your favorite book.

This property features two large decks—perfect for cooking out, entertaining, or simply enjoying nature. Inside, you’ll find a spacious living area with a cozy living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen to make you feel right at home. Each unit offers three comfortable bedrooms on the upper level, and the North side (larger duplex) includes a sleeper sofa for additional guests. Both kitchens are stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for up to 16 guests, including dishes, pots, pans, and dinnerware. The bathrooms come with plush towels and toiletries for your convenience.

Stay connected with Wi-Fi, and enjoy streaming and local TV channels for your entertainment. With key-coded doors, you’ll have easy access to the property, ensuring a smooth and convenient stay.

For larger groups, consider renting both units of this rustic duplex—ideal for family reunions or group getaways! An extra cleaning/laundry fee ($150) will be added for the 2nd unit if you chose to book both and have access to 6 bedrooms!!

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
As your stay comes to an end, I kindly ask that you: 1. Please take all used bed sheets and bath towels to the laundry room in the North Unit. 2. Dispose of all trash in the outdoor trash cans.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All Linens and Towels must be taken off beds prior to departure and placed in front of the washing machine in basement. Clean used dishes and pans.
All trash must be taken out to the TWO blue bins outside before departure.
Please take care of "My home" this is actually my primary residence so treat it as if it was your own home

A great location with the duplex set up that was great for a large family get together. We visited with 3 families with young kids and a dog. Plenty of room for all! Both have private entrances which can easily operate as independent properties or easy to go between utilizing back doors off shared deck. We went for a girls trip weekend and we had 8 people total with us. We rented both units and it was perfect with plenty of room to sleep for everyone. The house was close to the downtown area and easy to get to. We went in November and the fall colors were beautiful at the house! One suggestion I would have is to make sure there is more toilet paper stocked and easily available. Lisa was a great host!!!

Well kept home with plenty of space. The water gets plenty hot for washing dishes and showering. Each room had clean linens and plenty of pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of speciality items. We cooked a lot and had plenty of utensils and other items. There is enough parking for multiple large vehicles.

The perfect stay for FFA

This house was PERFECT for our group during the FFA convention. It housed all of us comfortably. It’s far enough away from the bustle of city life and the fire pit became a much needed gathering spot after the fighting the crowds at convention. Lisa was welcoming and the communication was there from the very beginning. We will definitely be back for convention and will hopefully stay with Lisa again!

Rivers edge vacation

My family group of 5 plus our dog had a great 4 day stay at Rivers Edge. We very much liked the closeness to the Broad Ripple area just south for evening meals. The property also had great access to the nearby park. It was as advertised inside in the North-side unit that we occupied. Definitely recommended.

Thanks, Lisa for a great weekend at your home! We appreciate being able to have the family have a central location for our wedding.
