Perfect house and area to get away! Great kitchen/grill fully stocked with dishes and utensils! The best little lake with kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, and beach area. Highly recommended for your next stay!! The host was fabulous before we arrived, during our stay, and after!!

HIGHLY recommended!!

Our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 young kids stayed at the Cottage. Well worth the stay! We will absolutely be back! The couple that run the resort were extremely helpful, kind and flexible. If you are looking for a cute place to go, something quiet and still have plenty to do with young ones this is the place to be. My hubby and I normally don't mind busy crazy places but every once in awhile we just need peace. We were still so close to DL and we also went tubing down Ottertail from Charlies (Charlies has kid friendly tubes) on a Monday. We hung out at the lake for many many hours. Drive was easy as can be from Fargo. Their internet never worked for us however the verizon network worked easily, then again we were not connected much as we were to busy hanging out as a family : ) Cabin was bright, stayed cool, very clean, comfortable beds and was fully loaded, more so than most cabins we have been too. We ate outside every night but one rainy night, nice huge deck on the Cottage. The lake was down a flight of stairs or a straight shot from a little road that is more golf cart friendly, easy to get to. Again HIGHLY recommended. I cannot stress that enough.

Wonderful property!

We had a friends lake weekend at Serenity Hollow and will certainly be coming back. The host was flexible and communicative. The property is spacious, clean (!) and had a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. We had brought many things like garbage bags, paper towels because sometimes these aren't provided, but this house was ready for us. There is a huge yard for many games and they even have yard games available to you. The lake access is a short walk and the beach had lots of chairs for us to utilize. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Vacation

Quiet and relaxing vacation. Clean property with close and easy access to the lake. Owners and other long term campers are very friendly. Beach area has chairs so we didn’t need to haul chairs to the beach. Wagon is available to haul fishing poles, small ice chest, and other beach/water items. Mississippi Headwaters is about a 45 minute drive away.

Little toad lake campground

It was top notch all the way! Denise was amazing!!! I goofed up my reservation and she was kind enough to get us another night no problem, this camp ground is one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed at and I have been fishing this area for 50+ years would recommend to anyone the cabin was beautiful and best fish cleaning shack I have ever used can’t wait to go back Thanks again Denise your the best 😎 Lou S.

Perfect vacation experience!

We had a lovely time at this property! It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation for my teenagers and I. We floated on the lake, read books, took walks (and naps!), made smores, watched movies, and just enjoyed our time together. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Denise was always just a text away if we did need something. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

What a great experience! Denise was so gracious and accommodating. We had such a good time, we plan on going back next year! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our fishing trip. We can’t wait for 2021!

Quiet , roomy stay

We had four big guys staying at the Cabin. There was plenty of room. The spaces are laid out logically. The kitchen has got good space for doing things. The deck on the side was used for a cookout one evening. It was extremely pleasant to sit out there enjoying our meal and talking. We assume the owner came over to ask if we needed anything. That's what makes a good experience. We would consider staying here again.

Great place to vacation, great owners. Good fishing.

The owners, Denise and Dale are great people, and provide you with a great cabin, and super clean. If you need something, they will go out of their way to make it happen. I have a walking disability, and they allowed me to drive my truck down to the boat docks, so I did not have a long walk. They make you feel like you are part of their RV park family. Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fabulous Week in Minnesota!!!

We had a fabulous week at Serenity Hollow, just was what we needed to relax!! We enjoyed the amenities available to us, time spent with friends and seeing what Minnesota has to offer. Would return in a heartbeat!!

So accommodating, peaceful, clean!

We rented the cottage for several days while in town for a road rally. Denise was the most accommodating host I have ever had the pleasure of renting from. She went out of her way to ensure that all of our needs were met - from clearing a place in the garage for us to work on our race car to baking us an apple crisp and delivering it with a gallon of ice cream. The cottage was very clean - I have high standards in this area and they were met! I used the grill one day and it worked superb. We even got a chance to use the paddle boat on the lake with was so peaceful. The "neighbors" were all very nice and quiet and respectful. The public bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever been in at a campground / rv park. Denise was very accessible during our stay. I would encourage anyone to stay here.

Totally Worth It!

Serenity Hollow was just the vacation we needed! Our family of six plus two grandparents and an extra teenager fit comfortably in The Cabin. There was so much for the kids to do that I don't remember having to break up a single sibling fight! The kids loved the pool table and tournament (we did too!). When they weren't playing pool, they were shooting hoops or playing in the park with the "neighborhood" kids. The swimming beach was sandy and clean. There was plenty of space to play catch and tag. There were books and movies available for checkout. The lake is a short walk to the beach, and the boat launch was easy in/easy out. It was nice not being right next to the lake with a 2-year old. The kitchen contained everything we needed to cook...even a griddle for pancakes! The owners were very accommodating and friendly, as were all the campers. Something is just better by the lake. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Serenity Hollow is appropriately named...

We rented the cottage for a week... and what a wonderful week. Denise is a wonderful and accomodating hostess and caretaker. Everything you need is here, and the beds are very comfortable. The cabins are both decorated tastefully... we were there with our 3 teen boys and they all are ready to go back again! A week of quiet sunsets, boating and top notch acommodations. If there were only room service.. LOL. WiFi WORKED FINE in the main areas, weak in the bedrooms. We brought our ROKU and that worked fine on the wireless as well.. I work in software, that was important to me and a prior guest said it never worked... must have been a fluke. Thanks! We'll be back! Yvonne

WE Fester's Reteat

Perfect little cabin for our WE Fest experience. The bedrooms were nice size with ample storage. Bathroom was clean and had all we needed. Great towels! Kitchen included all dishes and gadgets we needed. Cleaning and paper products were included. The cabin was perfect for our trip because we (5 adults) could leisurely hang out during the day at the cabin - there was enough space inside and a patio with furniture and grill outside, as well as a beach a short walk away. Owners were very helpful and accommodating and it was obvious that they take exceptional care of their properties.

So much fun!

We were all beyond excited at the last minute opening over the 4th of July holiday this summer! The cottage was neat and clean. It was the perfect getaway, where we enjoyed time on the lake, at the beach, around the campfire, grilling on the patio and even was active in a few games of volleyball and bean bag toss.

Our stay at the cottage at Serenity Hollow exceeded all our expectations! The cottage was clean, bright, fully stocked, and very comfortable! The campgrounds are well kept and averyone is so kind. The lake is beautiful...and clean! I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. We hope to go back someday!

Fun weekend

We stayed for three nights with family and were EXTREMELY pleased with how clean and nice the cabin was! Very spacious bathroom and had all the towels plus more that we needed! The sheets were very soft and the beds were very comfortable! We loved that the kitchen had everything we needed to cook already! We had fun playing on the pool table in the camp ground, the bathrooms for the campground guests were clean as well. Also, the lake water was crystal clear!! We had a great time!!

The cabin

The cabin was beautiful, clean and relaxing! We enjoyed our stay very much. It is amazing 7 people can fit comfortably in there from the out side it doesn't look that big. The beds were very clean and comfortable.
