Welcome to Kana'i A Nalu a quiet resort that sits on the ocean away from the road. This property has the BEST ocean front views of Molokini Crater and Kaho'Olawe Island. There is a resort swimming pool and BBQs next to the ocean. .
In my opinion this property has the Wow Factor! If you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL upgraded home that is nicely decorated with comfortable beds look no further this is the place to stay. The views will take your breath away. You may never want to leave the condo.
This two bedroom two full bath is 952 sq ft. Enjoy sunsets and sunrises from this location and watch the turtles play in the ocean below right from your lanai. This is a great location year round particularly during the winter months; humpback whales can be seen in abundance. This unit includes window A/C in the living room, 4 ceiling fans, and FREE secure Wi-Fi Internet access for your laptop. This unit is spacious and bright. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishwasher, stove/oven; linens and towels; washer/dryer inside the unit; a telephone for free calls to the mainland and Canada, cable TV, CD/stereo. The master bedroom has a comfortable pillow top King size bed for your sleeping comfort. The second bedroom has two single beds with pillow tops. This home is a wonderful value for large parties and sleeps four guests. We will allow up to 6 people please ask permission. There are 2 foam mattress pads single size for 5th and 6th guest.
If there is a big south swell, the wave off the harbor, "Freight Trains," can be one of the best in the world attracting expert surfers. Towards the east of Ma'alaea is a great spot for windsurThis complex sits directly on a 3-mile stretch of white sand beach that spans almost the entire Ma'alaea Bay. This setting is wonderful for romantic sunset strolls. For the more active person this is a great beach to run on as you can do so for miles in peace away from the crowds. The west end of the beach is Haycraft Park and Ma'alaea Harborfing, during both trade and Kona winds. This property is located less than a mile walking distance to Ma'alaea Harbor and it is centrally located on the island between South and North Maui.
A short walk down the quiet, tree-lined road will lead you to Ma'alaea Harbor with its great restaurants and shops, including the Five Star rated waterfront. Just steps away is the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, a putt-putt golf course, rock climbing wall, trampoline and bumper boats. Fun for the entire family!

Kathy used to live on the island of Oahu with her US Navy family when she was a young girl. Her family later moved to Southern California. She knew that one day she would return to Hawaii, the place she fell in love with long ago. Taking a leap of faith she purchased her Maui condo June 2002 this was the beginning of fulfilling her prophecy of once again returning to Hawaii soil. Kathy is an artist who is inspired by the beauty of the islands. She captures the beauty she experiences with oil paint on canvas. 'Painting the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands is another way for me to feel close to this special place I call home. I live in Maui part of the year and painting the Hawaiian landscape and people helps me stay connected when I'm not there physically.'

Outstanding property in an excellent location
We were extremely pleased with our stay at Kanai A Nalu #302 January 3-10. The property is well furnished and comfortable.
We like it's location overlooking the sea so that we can hear the waves each night and walk along the beach in the direction of Kihei each day. We like to stay in Ma'alaea because it is centrally located on Maui, permitting relatively easy travel to other locations on the island.
We've visited Maui many times in the past 10-15 years but of all the places we've stayed we cannot imagine a better place to stay in Maui than this apartment in Kanai A Nalu.
Doesn't get any better than this
This is the place to be in Maui with its centralized location and accessibility to anywhere in the island.
The unit is just fantastic and the property is beautiful. Everything we needed to make an awesome family vacation was there. The unit easily accommodated the 5 of us (with 3 grown kids) and the amenities / beds were top notch.
No issues with check-in / out. Couldn't have gone more smoothly. Thanks!
Great place to chill out, so relaxed compared to the more touristy spots on Maui. The beach is fantastic. I just love sitting on the balcony whatching the surf and trying to spot turtles pop their heads out of the surf while I enjoyed a cold beer.
Best Value in Maui
Awesome location, unit is nicely renovated and clean,well stored with water toys & snorkels.Our holiday was perfect. Definitely would go back and highly recommend this unit. Very good value.
Quiet condo on Maui
Our family of four (including 14yo and 11yo boys) spent 4 days on Maui and stayed in this condo. Although there is AC, we only needed it for a few hours after arrival since the condo had been closed up for a couple of days and was stuffy. Otherwise the breeze was adequate to keep it comfy for us. The location at the end of Sugar Beach was very nice. The beach was not crowded and was perfect for running in the early morning or walking at any time. Our boys used the boogie boards almost every day and the waves just down the beach provided plenty of opportunity for this. We saw numerous sea turtles during our stay. It was a relaxing visit and we appreciated the ability to extend our checkout since there was not another party coming in the day we were leaving. Would stay here again. Beach Bum restaurant at the marina just down the street was good and very convenient on our last night. Mahalo and we look forward to a future Maui vacation.
Great, central, location "ON" the ocean!
I shared the Kanai a Nalu property with my husband, sister and mother. We had a fabulous time! The condo is extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. It was right on the ocean and the sound of the waves was so nice to hear. The property has very clean. The contact, Windy, while we were there was great, too. We had one maintenance issue and she resolved it immediately. The condo has air conditioning in the living room only, but luckily we only needed it for a few hours on a couple of days and there are fans in all the rooms. The location was great, too, as it was about halfway between Lahaina and Wailea. In fact, its walking distance from the Maui Ocean Center. Beach Bums Restaurant is near there and had great food, including one of the best meals we had while in Maui. We would definitely stay there again!

Additional information about rental rates
The condo will be cleaned prior to your arrival and the day of your departure. Additional housekeeping services during your stay are available for an additional charge $200 deposit required to hold your reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/e-mail. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have. Rates listed for 4 occupants. Additional charges apply for 5th and 6th guest. Maximum 6 occupants in condo. 4 adults OR 2 adults and 4 children OR 3 adults 3 children Every Maui Vision property listed is a non-smoking home, this includes the lanai (balcony) and hallways. The separate $200.00 USD security deposit you pay is fully refundable. It will be held and returned within 14 days after your departure date. The security deposit will be used if excessive cleaning or damage to unit is beyond normal wear and tear. NO SMOKING ALLOWED inside the unit or outside on the lanai or hallways. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy or be taken out of the security deposit. Rates subject to change without notice PRIOR to actual booking.
