Le Bettaix holiday lettings

What a beautiful chalet. It looked brand new, so clean and has everything you could wish for – pure luxury. We are definitely looking to book again for next year. Host (Geraud) and local contact (Guillaume) were both so helpful and friendly – always quick to respond to any questions. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this fantastic accommodation - you will not be disappointed.

This is a really lovely property which is spacious and very comfortable. Le Bettaix itself is small and quaint with a beautiful river that runs through the village. There are 2 ski shops which is useful if you need to hire equipment but apart from that you need to drive to find a supermarket. The nearest ski lift is a 400m walk which is easy enough but if you're feeling lazy, you can drive there as there is plenty of parking. You can also buy your ski passes there from one of 2 automated machines. The property itself has underground parking and a Tesla charger which was very useful for us. The entrance however is quite tight so care needs to be taken getting in and out. There is a washing machine and dryer in a room attached to the garage which is useful too. There's also storage for skis and boots. The flat we stayed in was on the top floor (there are 3 levels). There's a lift which is very useful but the stairs don't take long either. The flat itself has 4 decent sized bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite. The beds are very comfortable and in addition to curtains, there are exterior electric blinds if you like to keep the rooms dark. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining table is ideal for entertaining and family meals. In addition to a comfortable lounge, there's a very nice outside terrace with seating. The only niggle was that the wifi was inconsistent and on the last evening the power went off for about an hour. On further investigation in the basement, a small leak above the fuse board was discovered which required urgent attention. The local agent Charlene was helpful and responsive throughout the week. Overall, we were very happy.

Chalet paradise was perfect for our group and although there was no actual ski in/ski out the chair lift was only a four minute walk and the run back was kept useable even in the warm spring ski days. Beautiful village and we loved the peace. An issue with the boiler was sorted out very quickly and Cedric was very helpful. It is unusual to find a chalet with all en-suites which was appreciated . Convenient location short walk to the lift, easy to get to in a car/van Amazinah facilities with sauna hot tub and pool table. Didn’t even get time to use the cinema, Open fire in the centre of lounge is very relaxing

We are a group of 11 ladies, some who have never skied before and others who are experienced and we have had the best time staying in Delphine and Antoine’s chalet. The hot tub is a great treat after a long day of skiing, as is the sauna. The chalet is in a beautiful village, just a short walk to le bettex lift, and an easy green down to the ski school for the learners. There are no food shops in the village but a great bakery service for breakfast. The chalet is nice inside, kitchen a little small but great open plan lounge dining area. The fire is lovely but there were no logs and the ash does go everywhere as it is exposed on all sides. Delphine was amazing at responding to my queries and quick to help with everything I asked her. Would highly recommend having raclette one evening as the chalet has 2 raclette sets and was our favourite meal! Overall great stay!!
