This property is amazing. Everything needed for a relaxing, comfortable vacation. The view is beautiful as well as the accommodations. This was our 3rd year staying there & definitely will plan to return!
This cabin was absolutely perfect with the lake front view and so close to beautiful nearby hikes and everything you might need in cashiers. I’m so grateful that I stayed here that I can’t wait to come back. I stayed by myself and at no point did I feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
What a view!!! This place has 2 great porches to relax on and feels very tucked away, yet close to good restaurants and the grocery in Cashiers. Both big beds are very comfortable, too. We really enjoyed renting a boat at the marina nearby. And trust the listing, the steps down to the dock are steep, but the water is wonderful.
The view is second to none! Clean and everything we needed for our stay. Close to Cashiers, Sapphire and Highlands. Next time I will bring my dog. We took a cruise around lake Glenville with Captain Mark. Very informative and saw 4 waterfalls only accessible by boat.
Fantastic view of the lake, house was clean, and great communication with the owner. I’d highly recommend for a getaway to Lake Glenville. Short drive to restaurants and shops in Cashiers.
The view was wonderful. The first night we watch a fireworks show on the lake and could see the whole thing from the deck of the house. Found several great restaurants in Cashiers. It was a great trip.
The cabin was very unique with it's outside appearance. The indoor space was open and looked out over Lake Glenville. Very comfortable furniture and well equipped kitchen. The view was incredible. It was so convenient to be able to walk our small dog. Peaceful and quiet.location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
The view! The grandeur and beauty of the view cannot be overstated! There is plenty to see in the area, including many amazing waterfalls, and we did some of that. However, we just wanted to spend most of our time sitting on the upper deck and absorbing that view. Aside from in the bedrooms, the view can be also be seen from all the upper level inside the house, and there is also a massive lower level deck...with a spectacular view. The house is great and well appointed, the host was very easy to work with, and check in was a breeze.Highly recommend!
This property was perfect for our stay! It exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable house. Very clean and had lots of perks. Enjoyed the kayaks and the dock. Wonderful view and experience. We will definitely return for future adventures. The owner is a super descent person and communication was very positive. It was a 5 star stay!
We had an amazing stay at “Ted’s Shed!” We’ve been visiting the Lake Glenville/Cashiers area for the past five years and this lake house has the best view we’ve ever experienced! It’s secluded and quaint, but then less than a ten minute drive into town! The newly refurbished dock was amazing and we made use of it daily. The walk down is steep (it’s Lake Glenville, the walk down to the lake is always steep!) but with appropriate shoes and caution, it was easily navigated. The multiple decks were so much fun to explore and were perfect for the sometimes unpredictable weather. The home is well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The appliances worked well. Everything was spotless when we arrived. We hope we get to stay again soon!!
This is the perfect place for a family of four to spend a few days on the lake. The access to the dock is perfect - swimming is amazing - access to Cashiers and the local marina are also easy.
Obviously, the deck of the cabin is the best!
check in and out was smooth. The rental had all the needed items. Enjoyed fishing from the dock and fishing from both canoe and kayak. AM coffee from the deck and night time in the hot tube. a great stay.
