Don't miss the opportunity to stay in the Bear's Lair Chalet - ski-in/ski-out from the door! This is one of the most popular locations in all of Big Sky/Moonlight Basin. This Saddle Ridge sits directly on the slope with true ski-in/ski-out access to the entire mountain. When you ski-out, you will have the choice to ski to the base of Big Sky or the base of Moonlight and you can easily ski back to your door from either location. Ski in for lunch or a quick cup of hot chocolate. Enjoy an afternoon or evening soak in our slope side hot tub as you enjoy a beverage of your choice and watch your son or daughter sled. It does not get any better than this. True luxury and Montana style make this Saddle Ridge the perfect home away from home.

The master suite, located on the top level all by itself, has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and private bath. Enjoy plenty of privacy and rest in this elegant escape with a new mattress and black out curtains. The private, full bath has a separate sink/vanity and a tile shower/tub. There is also a twin sleeping loft in the master bedroom, perfect for a child that wants to be near mom and dad or for an additional twin bed for those that need an extra bed.

The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all located on the main level with unbeatable views. Enjoy plenty of seating in our living room in our leather sofa, love seat, and chair while you watch your favorite sporting event or movie on our 48 inch flat screen TV in front of the fireplace. The kitchen is loaded with all appliances and all of the cooking utensils you will need, including a crock pot, pancake griddle, blender, hand mixer, coffee pot, and more. All NEW granite countertops + the breakfast bar seats 4 and the dining table seat 6. The upper deck has a new Weber gas grill and outdoor seating. Watch the sunrise and sunset in one of the most amazing settings in the Rocky Mountains.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both located on the lower level with a full bath on the hallway. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and flat screen TV and walks out to the 6 person private outdoor hot tub and breathtaking views. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a twin bed, as well as, spectacular mountain views.

The laundry room, with full size washer/dryer, is located 1/2 flight of stairs down from Bedroom 2 and 3. We provide all laundry detergent and fabric softener.

There is parking for 2 cars directly in front of the front door, along with private ski racks on the front porch. It is so easy to unload bags and groceries or hop in the car for a quick outing or delicious dinner. You could always walk over to the very popular Moonlight Lodge for a cocktail or a wonderful dinner at the restaurant.

Whether you are vacationing in the winter or summer this Saddle Ridge has all of the amenities that will provide the perfect home away from home for everyone. Most everyone that visits Big Sky is amazed by the incredible mountain views, sunrises, and sunsets. This specific property will provide the most memorable views that you may ever experience.

** Also, the owner of the property is a member of the private Moonlight Club, so when you stay in this property you have the option of using the Moonlight Lodge heated pool and workout facility, as well as, access to a private lake in Moonlight Basin with fishing equipment provided for a stocked trout pond, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boarding in the summer and ice skating, a tubing hill, cross-country skiing trails, and snowshoe trails in the winter – all available for an optional fee of $25/day/person (ages 10 and under are free) - fee must be paid for the full stay for those guests that plan to use the amenities.

Clean and pretty comfortable

Our family of 5 had a nice time skiing. This condo is pretty nice, but could use some updating. Master shower is just a tub shower. We were expecting a more luxurious condo, but this was overall a comfortable and easily accessed unit. The three levels were always different temps and with only 1 thermostat, were hard to regulate. Bottom level was always cold and upper was hot. Only other issue we had was the ski in/ski out claim. It is not. Gotta walk about 75 yards to ski down to lift. That part was easy. However, to get back, you have to stop about 400 feet away and walk to the condo. That is not what I consider ski in/ski out.

Overall, this is a nice condo. However, we prefer to be able to stop and start easier during our days on the mountain. We won't be staying in this condo again.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for renting from us, We are sorry you didn’t like the tub shower in the master. Most guests enjoy being able to take a bath or shower in the master. All of the furnishings, bedding, gas grill, hot tub, paint, and kitchen utensils, plates, etc. are less than 2 years old, so we are not sure what you are referring to in terms of updating or not luxurious. After you checked out, we found the baseboard heaters ON in the upstairs bedroom, which is why you may have been hot up there. It is very odd to have been cold in the lower level because that is normally the warmest part of this Saddle Ridge. Perhaps the baseboard heat kept the furnace from coming on. We wish you would have contacted us during your stay so that we could have had an opportunity to help with this. The last 2 weeks of warm weather (very unseasonable) have caused most homes in Big Sky to require some walking when it comes to skiing in/out, This is a front row, ski-in/ski-out Saddle Ridge, which is absolutely ski-in/out 90% of the season. Beautiful Place With a Great Location

We had a fantastic trip to Big Sky. Acra and Chris were excellent hosts, and we are glad we chose this place. Everything was exactly as described, and the place was in great condition. The place was very clean and it was so helpful that they provided linens, towels, and other essentials. Acra and Chris were very easy to communicate with, and they were always eager to offer advice and answer questions. The condo's location made it easy for everyone to enjoy their trip the way they wanted to. It was a true ski in/ski out with easy access to the mountain. The view from the balcony was phenomenal - waking up the Big Sky sunrise over the mountain never got old. There was plenty of room for storage and more than enough room to hangout with the family after a great day of skiing. Having the hot tub was also another great thing to come home to after carving through powder all day. If we were to do another trip to Big Sky, we would definitely stay here again.

We just wanted to tell you how great our stay was, The Saddle Ridge Condo was perfect for our family. I love that every time we stay with you the attention to details is amazing. Sharp Knives, salt & pepper, olive oil, paper products, coffee & filters, snacks and even a bottle of wine! The toe & hand warmers, laundry detergent, etc. are so nice to include. The nice thread count sheets make it like home. The directions are clear and user friendly. Thank you We Will Be Back!!!

Fantastic Ski-in/Out property! Very nice and roomy!

We had not been to Big Sky before so didn't know what to expect. We were more than satisfied with this fantastic property and location. The condo is very well appointed with everything we needed for a great vacation. We would highly recommend this property! The location is perfect for a ski vacation. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect place to stay at Big Sky!

My family stayed here for a spring break skiing trip. We had an amazing time skiing, but what made our trip more enjoyable was the condo we rented! The place was spacious and we'll equipped. The view was so beautiful. We could ski out of the back door with a short climb down hill. It was convenient to town and to the ski village or Moonlight Lodge. We loved our stay here and will definitely be booking again!
