This Cowboy Heaven Cabin offers some of the best ski access in the Rocky Mountains while also providing incredible mountain modern elegance throughout. With a gas firepit and private outdoor hot tub on your front porch, this cabin is ideal for Big Sky vacation rentals that blend luxury and adventure. Whether you visit in summer or winter, you never want to leave!

The Shooting Star Cowboy Heaven Cabin has been newly updated with modern and elegant amenities that create a fantastic mix of mountain modern and western décor throughout. The large open living area provides the perfect spot for gathering, with a modern kitchen loaded with all your cooking needs, a luxurious and cozy living room with a gas fireplace/stove, and an open dining area for card games and unforgettable family dinners. Every window offers jaw-dropping mountain views.

At the end of the day, this is the perfect spot for you and your crew to lay your heads, relive your day's adventures in Big Sky or Yellowstone, and dream of making new memories tomorrow. The master suite has a king bed, private bath, and Smart TV, and bedroom 2 has a twin over queen bunk bed and Smart TV + full bath on the hallway. Plush and comfortable bedding will envelop you with each passing moment.

We loved our stay. Cabin was so cozy. Kitchen well stocked with anything you need (except maybe a chip clip:-))) Primary bed was comfy. Hot tub was amazing. And views can’t be beat. Was hoping for ski in ski out, but lifts weren’t open. Acra and Chris answered any question we had and also left a gift basket of goodies for us. We will definitely be back!

Cozy is the word! The best mountain views ever, the hot tub and firepit makes it! You can just sit there and take it all in for hours. Very clean and comfortable, all of the amenities you need. Effortless check in and out. Thank You Moonlight.

Honeymoon Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! We stayed for a week to celebrate our honeymoon and it was lovely. The pictures do not do it justice, the views and the cabin itself were even better in person. Cannot wait to book again in the future!

Perfect Ski In- Ski Out

We came to Big Sky to ski, and we lucked out when looking for a spot to stay while there. This cabin was perfect for our needs. Cozy, with a view to die for, on an easy to access ski run so it was a breeze to come in for a break, a snack or an end of the day soak in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for two adults and two grown teens (19 & 17 year old boys). Communication with property management during booking and before/during the trip was easy and thorough. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property!

We had a wonderful stay! The porch was magical, as we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit immensely. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and very cozy! It was exactly what we were hoping for! Thank you and we will definitely return in the winter for ski season.

Just what we were looking for!

Ski in, ski out and a hot tub; which you could practically ski into! The kitchen was very well appointed with everything right at our finger tips. The entire cabin was comfy and had absolutely everything we needed. I'm sad writing this...I have PTSD by not having that view out my door and snow under my skis! What a terrific time!

This cabin was perfect. You have a view of the entire mountain range and valley area. The cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. The fire pit and front porch were the icing on the cake!

Perfect!

We were a bit surprised at the location - right at the top of Big Sky…but wow! The views were incredible. Lovely to sit in the hot tub and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the birds. The cabin itself is very cozy, very clean, beds comfortable. We had everything we needed. The kids loved playing the Wii, we liked grilling out and the big table to have a few meals to save some money in super expensive Big Sky. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Prefect House in the Perfect Location

This was the perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (loved that it had beds for 3 in the secondary bedroom, as that can be hard to find and is much better than putting a kid on a couch in the living room). The cabin has been recently renovated, is nicely furnished, and well stocked. Things like heated bathroom floors, a boot warmer, and humidifier were great Mountain touches. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, including a crockpot and griddle. We appreciated that the owners keep some non-perishables between groups (oils, aluminum foil, salt, etc) so I’d recommend checking the kitchen stock before going to the grocery store. The location on the mountain was perfect with easy access to both Big Sky Mountain Village and Maddison Mountain Base. We loved that it is ski-in and ski-out; you should be able to ski an easy groomed Blue if you’re going to stay here and planning to ski-in. We utilized the hot tub every day after skiing and the views from the porch are breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Heavenly Experience

We were so excited to get to Big Sky and be able to stay in a cabin on the slopes. Everything was perfect. The views were spectacular, the hot tub was a great way to relax and get the chill out of your bones and the cabin was cozy and inviting. We could not have asked for anything more. We are already talking about returning next year.

We know Saddle Ridge, Cowboy Heaven, Moonlight Basin, and Big Sky extremely well, and we believe there is no better place to spend your winter or summer vacation.

After all, a good day on the slopes begins with a good night's sleep and a great place to cook breakfast.
