East Market (Indiana) Executive Loft - This four-bedroom, four-bath, 6,000-square-foot 2nd/3rd floor loft sits in the heart of the laid back and walkable downtown New Albany, Indiana. New Albany sits just opposite Louisville on the Ohio River and is located conveniently just 6 miles from downtown Louisville and the KFC Yum Center. Downtown New Albany has experienced a recent explosion of independent businesses and restaurants including bakeries, cafes, Italian, Cuban, American Grille, Greek, micro-breweries, winery, pizza, award winning BBQ, and more. The loft, consisting of the second and third floors has a freight elevator and a 1600 square-foot roof top yard. Wi-fi and DirecTV are available throughout the loft. The Property sleeps 12+ (two king size beds, two queen beds, full size size bunk beds, one twin, one futon and two roll-aways) comfortably. The Loft is perfect for group getaways or family reunions. A large dining room and entertaining area make large group gatherings easy.

Gorgeous, and just perfect for a girls’ weekend!

The perfect owners...so responsive and understanding! The loft had everything we needed and more! We stayed in on a snowy evening but also enjoyed the downstairs bakery, nearby coffee house, shopping, pizza at the winery and lunch at a nearby pub. Also, so close to Louisville. We loved it! Already recommended it to others. Thanks so much!

Love, Love, Love It!

My husband and I invited 4 couples that were our closest friends to New Albany to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing get a way. The loft is eclectic, modern, classic, & shabby chic all at the same time. We loved the history of the loft and really enjoyed our time exploring the area. It was the perfect place to stay and the perfect little town to visit. We plan to return again! Thank you Bergman’s for sharing your house with us!

Character, Charm, and Comfort

Character, Charm, and Comfort - this loft in New Albany is loaded with all three! My family decided to all meet in New Albany for our end-of-year Christmas & New Year's celebration. We couldn't have picked a better place to host our event. The loft is loaded with unique rooms, open spaces, and private places which made our stay so enjoyable. We gathered in the large living/dining area to open gifts, eat, and play board games. We had a pool tournament in the top level. People read or played piano and guitar in the cozy den. The loft is so inviting with it's exposed brick, wood floors, and tasteful decor. We also enjoyed the comfortable beds and the stocked kitchen, which was very helpful as we prepared our holiday meals. We enjoyed learning about the history of the loft as we read through the scrap books and looked at the renovation pictures. Overall, we had a great time and will be planning another family stay at this New Albany Loft.

Full of charm & excellent location

We used this location as a meeting place and retreat for our restaurant leaders. It was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for meeting and fun. The loft is fully stocked with everything you would need. Coffee shop and a bakery just downstairs. The streets look like the set of a movie at night with all the lights! Jess was the perfect host and so helpful making our stay absolute perfect. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the rooftop area was an extra bonus. They have another loft connected by the rooftop and it's perfect for even larger groups to have plenty of space yet still stay connected.
