This as our third stay at this home with more to come. The grandkids love swimming in the lake and kayaking, and the home reminds my wife and I of the homes we grew up in (we’re in our 60’s).

Waterfront vacation home. This was our ninth year at Ross camp. For the six of us it’s ideal, room for everyone and a set up that works for us. Larry is a terrific host and always checks in to find out how our visit went. If you want a relaxing experience, this house fits the bill!

This cabin was absolutely magical. The photos and listing don’t come close to capturing how special it feels in person. Waking up on the lake, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and watching the sunsets made for an unforgettable stay. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway.

The owner had no problem calling me at odd hours before I had even started renting the house. During our stay, we decided to extend the reservation, and instead of sending one clear payment request, he sent multiple separate requests. I genuinely believed I had paid all of them.What I find frustrating is that the owner had previously been more than comfortable contacting me directly by phone, yet when one of the payments was apparently missed, he made no attempt to call me and resolve it. Instead, he went straight to VRBO to complain. Had he simply called me, I would have taken care of the payment immediately.Beyond that, the house itself was disappointing. The air conditioning barely works, and the property is uncomfortable, poorly maintained, and generally unpleasant to stay in. Overall, the experience was far below what I expected.

Overall, we had a pretty good stay. It’s a lot prettier in person, the pictures don’t do it justice. We spent a lot of the time swimming. And they had a lot of thoughtful things in their house, like a bag of ice in the freezer, tinfoil, sandwich baggies. I did bring my own garbage sacks & paper towels, which we did need - so take some of those. Just wanted to put this here for anyone possibly booking, there is a camera in the front driveway that you can see the whole front of the house. And I did get messages correlating to events that were happening on the camera, for example, after we left, the owners texted me. The other thing I wish was fully disclosed was the property manager is next-door, and she is lovely and super helpful, but it did feel like we were being watched the entire time. It was disclosed that their backyard camera could also see into this backyard - so there is zero privacy. I have never stayed at a place where the host communicated with me so frequently.Hopefully this is helpful for anyone else stating.

This is our 4th repeat stay at the lovely lake house. It's a lovely, comfortable home that allows guests to enjoy kayaking, paddle boards, talking a dip in the lake, drinking coffee in the morning on the porch, and even playing pool to see who cooks dinner!

This is a beautiful location and the house has a lot of history. Very clean and well presented. There are a few things that could use some updating, but the big one is the air conditioning. It was quite warm outside, and it couldn't maintain a comfortable temperature. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Fun on the lake

This was our third year at this property. Perfect for a group of people or family. Lovely backyard that backs up to the lake. Fun game room in the house. Looking forward to going back in 2025.

Lake house

Great place to stay. Unable to swim off dock due to lots of seaweed. But a short paddle away from shore great swimming. Comfortable rooms. Had everything we needed. We would go back again.

Family Time

Great location for our family gathering to meet our new grandson. The home provided a comfortable meeting spot. We especially enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace with lots of dry firewood. The owner was very communicative and responsive to our questions.

Their parents, Phyllis and Jack and family vacationed here since 1957 and built a the home overtime moving here in the 70's. This home holds very special memories. We hope that you will create your own special vacation memories at our home.

With over 150 feet of well maintained landscaped lakefront where you can relax and enjoy the the beautiful southern exposure in a semi private space. We are located within 4 miles of numerous necessary services.
We have wonderfull neighbors who are very suppotive of our parents wish to hold onto the property to share it with others to create their own family memories.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We offer for our guests use, 3 kayaks, two paddle boards, an canoe with various yard games a private dock, boat launch and a mooring buoy for water sports and fishing. Long Lake is a sports fishermans dream with a large variety of fish and tournament level fishing. We are also forunate to have active Eagles and Ospreys frequently near the waterfront.
