Cottage WITH NEW PONTOON BOAT, AC, Dishwasher, Granite, Washer/Dryer and More
Our Cottage is very secluded and the last cottage on this side of the lake. New 2018 pontoon boat and Internet and Cable will be installed in the Spring, 2018. Great location for fishing and boating and visiting nearby attractions. 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage on 1,300 acre Pickerel Lake on its own secluded bay with a brand new pontoon boat included in the price. Sleeps up to 8 or 9 people. We are close to the water. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the tranquility and privacy of this place. The place is good for couples and families (with kids).
There is a nice driveway area and three steps that take you down to the yard area along the water’s edge where the fire pit is located. We have over 51 acres and over 2,500 feet of frontage on Pickerel Lake. The majority of the bay is part of our property. The privacy of this place is amazing. We are over 200 feet away from the lightly traveled Pickerel Lake Road. The cottage is tucked back by the lake and you cannot see the road from the cottage. We have 2 docks. The main one has an L and bench for sitting and a pontoon boat. The secondary dock has a canoe with paddles plus the row boat. We have a fire pit and dry/stacked firewood available in a storage shed.
The cottage has about 1,000 square feet with 500 square feet downstairs and 500 upstairs. One room has a queen bed and a double bed. Another bedroom has one queen. The loft bedroom is a walk through bedroom with the TV, love seat and a day bed (twin bed) that has a trundle underneath (another twin). There is also a full sized couch downstairs which is a memory foam sleeper/sofa. The property is on the NW corner of Pickerel Lake on its own private bay. It is between the town of Pickerel and Mole Lake. It is northeast of Antigo (25 miles) and South of Crandon (20 miles).
NEW FOR 2018: We are replacing our pontoon boat with a BRAND NEW 2018 MODEL Montego Bay Fish and cruise pontoon boat for use during the 2018 boating season (FROM APPROX MAY 1st - OCTOBER 20th). This is a 22 foot boat with a live-well, 90 horse 4-stoke Mercury motor, fish finder, 27 gallon fuel tank, bimini top and seating for up to 12 persons. In May of 2017 we installed a BRAND NEW ELECTRIC BOAT LIFT - just lower the boat with the key fob and head out onto the lake. Lots of room to fish off this boat or enjoy a ride around the lake. The new boat is being built but is very similar to the blue boat pictured here - VERY SHARP looking boat. Our rental rates in 2018 are competitively priced at $900 to $2,300 per week during the boating season. For comparison, if you were to rent this pontoon boat alone, it would cost approx. $250 per day or around $1,400 per week (without a cottage included). Bundle and save money.
Pickerel Lake is about 3.5 hours from Milwaukee and Madison. Cottage was Completely Rebuilt in 2014 and is right on Pickerel Lake within 20 feet from the water's edge. There is a great deal of privacy since we are tucked back over 200 feet away from the lightly traveled Pickerel Lake Road. Fire pit, propane grill and laundry onsite. Available year-round for fishing, boating and swimming in the summer and snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross-country skiing in the winter. We are on the ATV route and Snowmobile Trail.
Swimming is available at the end of our dock. It is about 4 feet deep and is somewhat sandy there but also with muck and weeds nearby. We have a swim ladder at the end of the pier. Larger areas to swim are available on Pickerel Lake with a short boat ride. There are also some nice beaches located at nearby lakes.
The cost for renting the pontoon boat is built into the price of your stay BETWEEN 5/1 AND APPROXIMATELY 10/20. Winter rates are much lower. The Pontoon boat rental is *mandatory during the "SPRING", "SUMMER" and "FALL" rental seasons and must be rented for all days that you are staying.
*We may consider rental of the cottage without the pontoon boat (and discount the rate appropriately) in the following cases:
1. If you are renting in the spring of 2018 and your rental period does not include a Friday or Saturday night stay.
2. If you are making a reservation within 30 days of your check-in date.
Optional: we have a 15 horse outboard available to rent for $100 per week. This can be attached to the row boat and provides access to Crane lake through the culvert. Please ask if interested in renting this.
We are right on the ATV Trail Route! You can use the blacktop Pickerel Lake road (subject to a 25 mile per hour posted ATV speed limit) to connect to the off-road trails that start approximately 2.5 miles to the west. You can get to the Augustyn Spring trails from there (maybe two miles further-on off-road trails). This connects to the White Lake ATV Trails. You can venture further west and hook up with the Parrish Highlands ATV Trails. Alternatively you can go east on Pickerel Lake Road and connect with the Nicolet State ATV trail. We are also right on the Snowmobile Trail!! Unload your sled and you are ready to venture across the state on your snowmobile. Cottage is equipped with two heat pumps (for air conditioning or heating) and a propane furnace for optimal comfort all year round.

Why Dan Gresch & Mike Gresch chose Nashville
It is very secluded and the last cottage on this side of the lake. Great location for fishing and boating and visiting nearby attractions. The main dock extends from the deck out over the water. It has an L section and a Bench for sitting. The pontoon boat is located there. The secondary dock is where we have the canoe with paddles plus small fishing boat. Swimming off the end of the dock and other spots a short boat ride ride away. We have a fire pit and dry/stacked firewood available in a small wood shed. The cottage has three bedrooms and it sleeps up to 8 or 9 people. It is about 1,000 square feet with 500 square feet downstairs and 500 upstairs. One room has a queen bed and a double bed. Another bedroom has one queen bed. The loft bedroom is a walk through bedroom with the TV, love seat and a day bed (twin bed) that has a trundle underneath (another twin bed - also called a murphy bed). There is also a pull out couch downstairs with a Double MEMORY FOAM mattress. The property is on the NW corner of Pickerel Lake on its own private bay. It is between the town of Pickerel and Mole Lake. It is northeast of Antigo (25 miles) and South of Crandon (20 miles).
What makes this Cottage unique
The cottage comes with a brand new Pontoon boat, on-site laundry and sleeps up to 8 or 9 people. It is a nearly new building as it was completely rebuilt in 2014. Great views of the lake and good fishing right off the dock.

Nice clean place
Had a great time at the cabin. We stay here every year and love this place
Wonderful family ice fishing trip!
Brought the family up for our first ice fishing trip. Had a wonderful extended weekend . The cottage was perfect and cozy. We caught tons of northern. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the memories.
Great House and Boat Package
House is remodeled and very nice, only steps from the water. Caught several fish, northern and bass, right off the pier. Caught other fish; crappie, northern, perch, bluegill, and largemouth out on the pontoon boat. Nice campfire pit and deck right on water's edge. Fall colors were beautiful.
Best Family Vacation Ever!
We have been home for two days after 5 nights at this magical place and we cannot quit talking about it. . I was slightly afraid to go that long without wi-fi, but it is also one of the reasons we wanted to try the place. We were so busy fishing, hiking, and BOATING, that we were all too exausted at the end of the day to do more than watch a DVD or play a board game. It was perfect. It was beautiful. The owners left us alone, but where available if we had a concern. Recommend all the way, even thoughh I would like to keep the bookings open to ourselves...they deserve the 5 stars.
Beautiful setting on the lake, very relaxing
Great to be back
Last summer we came with our three oldest "big city" grandkids (ages 10, 8 and 7) and had a magical time. Although it was chilly in June and the kids were at first hesitant to ride the raft behind the pontoon, when they actually tried it, it was non-stop! The fishing was virtually non-existent, even off the dock. No problem. We explored with the canoe and kayak. We ate all our meals outdoors, sang around the campfire and made s'mores, and I grossed them out cleaning the one sunfish they did catch.
So, the question was: could this year be as magical as last? Indeed it was! This year the youngest grandchild, age 4, got to come along. He had seen the pictures and heard the stories and he was ready and able to keep up with the older ones in every way.
This summer the fish WERE biting off the dock and from the pontoon. Nothing worth keeping, but that wasn't an issue. Every fish caught was greeted with glee, given a name and entered into their journal! We enjoyed time at the sandy beach at the nearby resort.
The owner, Dan, was very responsive to our questions and requests, before and during our stay. Shortly after telling us he didn't know where to find fresh sweet corn, a car pulled up and someone from his extended family brought us a dozen ears of corn! That kind of says it all, right?
While the cabin is small, the space was adequate for us (4 kids and 2 adults). The beds are comfortable; the kitchen is well-equipped; a variety of games and books are available for keeping the kids entertained when they aren't fishing or riding the raft. Having the pontoon, canoe, boat and kayak included is a huge bonus and makes the price well worth it. Plus being within a stone's throw of the lake is charming!
Pickerel Lake Cottage, boating, swimming, 4-wheel riding and snowmobiling, ice fishing, and Cross-country skiing.
