Charleston was one of our first trips together and where we fell in love! We returned many times since then and decided this would be a great place to have a second home. It has become a wonderful place to enjoy family & friends. Please, make yourselves comfortable and welcome to Charleston!

What makes this house unique

We put a lot into the remodeling of our home and wanted to keep certain artistic features. The bar counter was salvaged wood from within the walls and the fireplaces now exposed, were covered in plaster. They now make a beautiful accent to the living area and bedroom. Now, completed we have enjoyed it very much. It took almost 2 years to reconstruct. Countless trips back and forth from Greenville (3 hours one way) sometimes roundtrip in the same day. We love the location and simply walk to all our favorite restaurants and shops..

Beautiful apartment to stay in while visiting Charleston. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Very clean and easy communication with the property manager. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Loved the location

We loved the location, but the noise between 2:00 am and 3:00 am is terrible if you are sleeping in the front bedroom. The bar across the street empties all its bottles for recycling during this time.

In addition, the toilet in the front bathroom had some issues due to the change the city was making to the water meters. This caused us to only have one toilet for 2 days. We did call Lily and she forgot to call the plumber. She came down to check on it on the 2nd day and since we were leaving the following day we would have to live with it, but she was sorry.

Owner's Response: Thank you for sending us a review! Yes, unit is centrally located by restaurants and just off King St which is a great location. So many guests stress that it's the perfect location! It's the city/downtown living so we do have city activity around us. Walk to everything and not needing a car is great! As far as the toilet it was addressed the same day you made me aware of it. There was nothing to do per my plumber as it was completely an issue with the city changing all water meter plugs along the street. This effected the water flow and got back to normal within 24 hours. An issue even a plumber couldn't fix. So, I'm so sorry this happened during your stay but out of our control.

Great house one block off of King St. That is perfect for two couples or a small family.

Loved staying in this house that just happened to be right next door to a bakery. The house was clean and had a nice side porch to enjoy in the morning and in the evening. This house is one block off of King St and near the campus of the College of Charleston. So there was a nice vibe to the area—shops, restaurants and more of historic Charleston. We walked everywhere—lot of the tourist attractions were .5-1.5 miles away. The house was very comfortable and well maintained. There is some noise at night and that is why it doesn’t get five stars. Would stay here again.

Most of the time its quiet so I'm sorry this effected your stay. We are a busy city with so many visitors so anywhere around the city can get a bit noisy. Awesome location! Beautiful house!

We stayed here for a wedding in downtown Charleston. This house is beautiful. The owners who we met were very accommodating and extremely friendly! The house is located only a few blocks from King street. 5-10mim walk away from numerous bars and restaurants. Pet friendly as well. Would stay here again!
