Tanglewood Cabin at Vosburgh’s Custom Cabin Rentals is a spacious, light-filled retreat on the shore of Moose Lake, offering direct access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Located just above our main landing, this large and inviting cabin combines rustic comfort with resort convenience—making it an ideal base for families, fishing groups, or anyone looking to explore the BWCA wilderness without giving up modern comfort.

Inside, Tanglewood features soaring 20-foot vaulted ceilings, a free-standing wood stove, and an open-concept living room and kitchen perfect for gathering after a day on the water. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to six guests, with one private bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a split loft upstairs, each side furnished with two twin beds. There is one full bathroom and an additional half bath for added convenience. The screened-in porch faces west, offering beautiful views of Moose Lake and nightly sunsets over the water.

Tanglewood is a wonderful option for families looking to share the magic of the Boundary Waters with their children—while still enjoying the comfort and ease of cabin life. With many nearby day trip paddle routes, including the popular Lake One loop, it's an ideal home base for introducing kids to canoe country. Moose Lake is excellent for fishing and swimming; children love jumping off our docks. While we don’t have a pool, the lake provides plenty of fun and refreshment. As part of Vosburgh’s Custom Cabin Rentals, Tanglewood guests enjoy the benefits of a full-service resort—including access to the dock, boat house, fish cleaning house, daily garbage pickup, and helpful on-site support. Starlink WiFi is available in the boathouse, though the cabin itself offers a chance to unplug and enjoy limited cell service in a peaceful Northwoods setting.

Weekly cabin rentals include a 16-foot Lund fishing boat with swivel seats. Guests are welcome to bring their own 25 hp motor or less, or rent a 25 hp electric start/trim motor for $375 per week or $75 per day. Daily boat rentals are available for $35. Depth finders, trolling motors, canoes, and live bait are also available to rent.

The cabin is available from May through October. Linens and blankets are provided; guests should bring their own kitchen and bath towels. Pets are welcome but must be supervised and not left unattended in the cabin. No smoking is permitted indoors. Additional state and local taxes not collected by VRBO will be due at check-in. Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak seasons.
