Nice villa with the typical architecture of the Amalfi coast, located in a very peaceful place, very close to Amalfi, Ravello, Positano. It has three rooms, a kitchen and three bathrooms, all of them with a beautiful view on the sea. There are also terraces, garden and private garage. Handmade local tiles in kitchen and bathrooms.

Friendly, nice and clean but some drawbacks
The owner and neighbour (who manage the property and share common areas) are nice and responsive. The apartment is also very clean, comfortable and well equipped. When we first arrived, the neighbour/managers dog was crying and barking (it is kept on a chain 20 feet away from the apartment) and although we were told that it was only because we were new, the dog barked and cried for several hours every day. The only other thing to keep in mind is as some other reviews stated, you have to walk sometimes 1000's of stair steps to get around (the beach and back is about 1500). There is a small market, butcher and a few restaurants that are a short walk away but if you are looking for anything more than that, you will need to take a bus or car.
Fantastic, authentic, and peaceful home to enjoy Amalfi.
We spent 5 nights at "Bella 'Mbriana" and very much enjoyed our stay. The house well accommodated us, a couple, for 3 of the nights and our friends from Rome, a couple with a 3-year old, over the weekend. All were comfortable with sleeping arrangements and separate floors and two bathrooms provided privacy. We enjoyed morning coffees and meals on the spacious veranda. Two parking spots were also much appreciated.
The beach is quite a schlep-we're avid hikers and the stairs up and down to the beach were challenging, but we did it every day, it just required 30 minutes or so and a stop or two to catch your breath. The area itself was very nice and there are restaurants and a cafe for coffee. There's also boat rentals and water taxi service to Amalfi and Positano. We took the water taxi to Amalfi one day which was a quick and easy way to get there as well as an enjoyable ride. We bussed back which was also convenient.
We did a few other day trips, to Pompeii and Sentiero degli Dei, and had a great dinner in Bomerano. If you're driving down from Napoli considering taking the road from Pompeii to Bomerano-we found it a provided better access than the road south through Salerno and/or north through Sorrento.
The weather was hot and humid (for us-from Northern Callifornia). The house does not have AC-there were fans. One down side was that not all of the windows have screens. It did get warm, especially in the upper bedroom, and opening the windows to allow the breeze in also meant there were mosquitoes to contend with.
Overall we were very happy with the house, position, and local atmosphere. Lidia, the neighbor who greeted us, was warm and welcoming and shared the bounty of her adjacent garden with us to enjoy. We very much appreciated the authentic experience of staying in a quiet more "locals" location as opposed to the more crowded and glitzy towns in the vicinity-it's just our preferred way to experience a place and not, perhaps, for everyone. We'd certainly stay there again.
Property did not meet our needs as well as intended
We arrived later than planned and did not benefit from a new renter orientation therefore and struggled getting our bearings. We did not have a car, the location was not ideal for our purposes, mistake when I booked I should have recognized this before I booked.
I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. As far as I understand this circumstance has not been caused by our house nor by our hospitality. There is not a misleading description of the property and the peculiarity of the Amalfi coast is well known worldwide. I'm sure there are plenty of other places in the world where you can find the features that better meet your needs. kind regards
Fantastic place with a very warm welcome by Lydia and her daughter Antonietta. Beautiful views from the terrace. Clean and comfortable. Charming small town on the Amalfi Coast - many steps to the small beach but there is also a beach club nearby Lido Capo di Conca that will pick you up and drop you home in their old VW bus. Great food at the beach club too, beautiful location - well worth the sun lounger for 10E with shuttle (navetta) included.
Spectacular views in a peaceful setting. The best place on the Amalfi Coast!
Our hostess, Lidia and Antonetta were wonderful. Their hospitality far exceeded our expectations. Homemade Limoncello was quite welcoming. They provided fresh lemons and other assorted vegetables from the garden. Peas, fave beans, basil, garlic, shallots inspire you to make some pasta. We were surprised every day with freshly baked treats. We felt like family the entire time. The market close by has all the essentials you need plus a great meat counter and selection of wine. The Villa was clean and well maintained. Morning coffee on the veranda is mandatory, weather permitting.
Conca dei Marini was beautiful but challenging to navigate on foot. I would recommend having a vehicle to get around. A lot of stairs and steep roads. All and all, a great experience.
From Naples, Take the motorway Napoli-Pompei-Salerno to CASTELLAMMARE DI STABIA, then follow directions to AGEROLA. Bus service from Naples and Salerno. In summer boats from Napoli and Salerno.
Musical Festival in Ravello, amazing footpaths in the surroundings, typical cuisine restaurants and excellent local wine in the area. Excursion to Capri, Pompei, Vesuvio.
