Beautifully situated rare first floor apartment facing east - west and benefitting from the steady trade winds with parking at the foot of the steps for easy access and seconds from the pool. The apartment is located in 1 of 10 charming clusters all set within Rockely Golf and Country Club. Each cluster has its own own pool, laundry and car park facilities. The apartment has of the nicest views in the development over the 3rd and 4th fairways of the golf course and preferd playground for the Bajan green monkeys and their babies.

The apartment was just what I needed, comfortable, quiet base.There were lots of little things which helped - such as the UK specification Plug in the kitchen, spare charging cables (my spare phone one died), mosquito repellent etc.Would definitely recommend.

Tranquil and safe place

This property was great for our week-long vacation. My husband and I appreciated the location; we love walking, so the 20-25 minute walk to the beach was nice. Do note that there are some areas where there are no sidewalks if you are not driving. The property, for the most part, felt clean and spacious. There are some quirks to the place, but overall, it was very nice and comfy. It was also great to have air conditioning in the bedroom. The one thing I would recommend is keeping bug spray around since there are no screens on the windows or balcony, so you may get a bite or two. We never made it to the pool because we preferred going to the beach. However, it was nice knowing that it was an option.

very nice apartment with views over the golf course.

We found the island fairly expensive but still enjoyed eating out. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful and we even managed to go on a bus to Bridgetown. The highlights of our holiday were visiting the gardens particularly Anthony Hunte's which is superb. We also loved watching the monkeys go past the apartment most mornings.

Great apartment and great location!

From the very beginning Jenny was very helpful and pleasant with any questions I had regarding the apartment and its amenities. She was very quick with responses and provided detailed information to ensure I had an overall smooth stay. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Our fridge was stocked with necessities upon our arrival which was awesome. Although we didn't get to met Judy, the cleaning lady, she was very friendly. She came during our stay to clean and called to make sure we had everything we needed upon our arrival and departure which was nice. The location of the apartment was also good. Its about a 10 minute walk from the beach, banks and supermarkets which we walked partly everyday. We will definitely return to Jenny's apartment next time we visit Barbados. Thank you Jenny!

A Perfect Self-Catered Choice

I just enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this apartment. The apartment was very clean when I arrived. It is well stocked and has everything needed for a self-catered stay, including utensils, dishes, pots and pans, small appliances, and even pool towels! The wifi and cable TV were great for relaxed evenings. It’s about a 10 minute walk to two grocery stores and the main road that has non-stop buses and shared taxis to Bridgetown, Oistins, and many beaches. (Tip: I found the far eastern end of Worthing Beach, across from the Bird Sanctuary, had the calmest water in the area, plus sea turtles! It’s within walking distance of the apartment.) As a female traveling solo, I always felt safe not only in the complex and neighborhood but Barbados as a whole. Just be careful of traffic when walking, as sidewalks are sometimes non-existent. Jenny was very helpful in providing local information before my arrival. All in all, I found the apartment to be a perfect choice for my stay in Barbados!

Great Property and Location

Jenny was very helpful with answering any questions we had before arriving. Check in was simple and the location of the property was great for all Crop Over events. Everything we needed was provided to us. We would definitely stay here again!

Just like home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was well equipped and excellent instructions re TV, A/C, laundry etc. It truly felt like home during our stay. Although this was not our first trip to Barbados, it was the first time that we stayed in this community. Very friendly neighbours who made us feel welcome. 20 minute walk to the beach, 10 Minutes to grocery shopping. A restaurant for light lunches or dinners is very handy to the apartment. Beautiful pool area and fun to watch the golfers on the fairway. Would certainly come again! Linda &Peter

Totally Worthing

An excellent spot for a stay, Bridgetown easily accessible, good views of the golf course and its resident wildlife including a troop of cute Green monkeys, not too far from a good local supermarket and some lovely beaches. Most relaxing and enjoyable, and the bedroom stays cool even without using the fan.

A lovely home from home

We stayed at this apartment and had a wonderful holiday. It was just as shown in the pictures. The surroundings are lovely. It's very tranquil but you can go out to the clubhouse for a quick drink or snack or Rockley beach where there are a number of shops an restaurants. Only a short cab or bus ride away from St Lawrence Gap. Jenny, the owner, was very prompt with responses to our questions when we booked. Judy the maid was helpful too. We'd definitely stay there again.

Great experience

Clean and Well Cared For

I am 83 years young, and really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was well equipped, and everybody was so friendly. The facilities on the property are first class. The entertainment was a nice way to enjoy some of the evenings. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet, and also noticed there were no mosquitos! I would stroll down to the beach daily, stopping by the fire hall to say hello to the guys. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful property. I have been going to this area for 45 years now, and enjoyed eating at all of my favourite spots, all within a nice walking distance.

Wonderful location, very clean and well kept apartment with excellent amenities .

The apartment was just as described on the website. Short walk to beach, shops and restaurants...Beautiful outlook onto the golf course complete with monkeys!! Very quiet development , pool clean and again all communal areas kept very clean and tidy . The apartment had everything we needed to cook meals if needed and aircon in the bedroom was much appreciated! We would definitely stay at this apartment again and would highly recommend .

I was born in Barbados to English parents in 1971, attended primary school there, and moved back to the UK aged 12. After university, I went back to Barbados where I lived and worked for the 90s and some of the noughties. Now back in England my family and I are regular visitors and maintain many local friends and contacts. We’re happy to advise on where to eat, the best beaches and offbeat places to visit as well as the main attractions. My dad, Geoff Atkinson was one of the three original developers of Rockley Resort, which I can remember going to when I was little - it was a derelict golf course with grass up to my waist! Only the disused clubhouse was standing. So i grew up as it was built and will always have a special connection to a lovely area both for residents and visitors alike:)

Very quiet and safe area, with no dogs allowed on the development. It is a neighbourhood watch area. In and amongst the holiday apartments are many local residents, all of whom are extremely friendly and helpful! It is lovely to walk around the golf course early morning/late evening and it's also at this time that the local wild Bajan monkeys often play on the golf course.

Located on a golf course, you will have access to sporting facilities like tennis and golf. Fascinating wild green-backed monkeys on the golf course! The pool is tranquil and relaxing. During the winter season there is entertainment at the golf clubhouse bar/restaurant. Only 1 mile from the famous Rockley beach! Supermarket with free shuttle bus, pharmacy, and post office all within walking distance. late checkout is usually always okay so you can get the last bit of beach time and leave at your leisure.
