Chalet LOUISA - Tintin

Our chalet is located in the 'Les Chalets de l'Altiport' development, so you can relax in a quiet mountain setting and put your skis on in front of the chalet.

It offers two accommodation units, each with sauna, jacuzzi and ski/bike room, which can be interconnected for larger groups or families.

The Tintin flat sleeps 14.

It comprises a living room with a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, wine cellar and raclette machine) opening onto the dining room, 5 bedrooms for 2 people and 1 bedroom for 4 people, each with a shower room (shower, washbasin and toilet).

In Chalet Tintin, one of the 2-person bedrooms can be made independent with a kitchenette and shower room (shower, wc, washbasin) to accommodate baby-sitters, cooks, etc.

End-of-stay cleaning and household linen (sheets and towels) are included in the price, and beds are made on arrival.

The chalet has a 5* level but is classified 4*, so the tourist tax is 2.50€/night/pers. from 18 years old, subject to modification by the municipality of Alpe d'Huez. We ask that this be paid at the same time as the balance.

We have a partnership with the Hors-Piste shop, which offers a 25% discount on the hire of ski equipment to our guests, which can be delivered to the chalet on request.

Fors Corban Wine and Catering Sevices and Chalet Chefs offer meal preparation services.
The Chalet Chef is in Oz en Oisans; Fors Corban replies to fcwineadh under gmail.

Lovely chalet, in a great location. Ski and ski out

We stayed a week over New Year. There were 12 of us (3 families, youngest young person 16, oldest 25). The chalet is really nicely laid out, cosy, practical. The communal space was spacious enough for 12. The kitchen is well equipped (and having 2 dishwashers is helpful touch). The bedrooms are small, but very comfortable.The sauna was a good size, so was the hot tub. There's also a lovely space in the balcony with fires on the tables.Impotantly the chalet is ski in and out, so no walk to a lift. Philippe, the owner was very friendly and very helpful.Thanks, we had a lovely stay.

Excellent week's skiing based in a really lovely chalet

Lovely chalet that easily accommodated our party of 14 adults and children. We had a really great holiday. Right at the top of Alpe d'Huez in a chalet development known as the Altiport (small airstrip nearby too). Chalet is top half of a larger property with another smaller chalet underneath. Sunny position with big sunny balcony – excellent views over the mountains. Easy to ski out but ski in more difficult due to less than normal snow. Excellent ski/boot room at low level, just inside front door. We found a car useful to go up and down hill to town, but there are shuttle buses to a stop about 100m away. We liked Alpe d"Huez. Chalet well kitted out, has fully-equipped kitchen, big dining table and separate living/lounging area. Bedrooms have big comfy beds and decent-enough wardrobe space but could ideally be a bit larger. Decent en-suite shower room in each with lots of hot water. Parking space for at least 2 cars on site and other spaces (free) nearby. Sauna and hot-tub both worked very well, and lovely to sit out in tub at sunset. Philippe our host was there to greet us and was extremely friendly and helpful – he attended to a few minor issues and made sure that a new stair-gate was fitted asap (rampant 1-year old). He speaks good English and was very keen to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves. Slight mess-up on time of occupation but didn't really matter – advise to check this with Philippe.

Tophuis in een mooie omgeving. Ruime woonkamer met fantastische vensterbanken en uitstekend uitgeruste keuken. Vooral ook heerlijk dat er van alles genoeg was en je niet om de haverklap een kopje moest afwassen of een bord opnieuw moest gebruiken. Slaapkamers met werkelijk waar uitstekende bedden. Badkamers aan de kleine kant maar hoeveel ruimte heb je nodig? Bovendien meer dan goede douches. Buitenruimte ook uitstekend. We hebben elke ochtend lekker kunnen ontbijten in het zonnetje en verder op de dag ook kunnen genieten van die koperen ploert. Dit afgetopt met een prima jacuzzi en fijne sauna maakt dat we er een uitstekend verblijf hebben gehad. Als we dan toch een puntje van kritiek moeten noemen: de stofzuiger werkte niet. Maar om daar nou een groot probleem van te maken......

Chalet pratique pour une grande famille.

Un très bon séjour…à refaire car le chalet est très conviviale et pratique. Chalet et mobilier vieillissant, il doit être rénové cette année 2022 normalement. Quelques odeurs désagréables dans certaines chambres (canalisations). Mais la situation, l’agencement du chalet sont top. En famille très pratique.

De belles vacances!

Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans ce chalet au mois d'août 2020 entre amis. Le chalet est fonctionnel, spacieux, propre et situé dans un endroit calme et agréable. Il est surtout adapté à la période hivernale. Pour l'été, il manquait quelques équipements (par expl: barbecue, table/chaises sur la terrasse). Malgré ces petits détails, nous avons passés un agréable séjour. Nous recommandons ce chalet.
