Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a wondeful time in your Falmouth house last week. Everything was perfect, the house itself, very nice and comfortable, perfectly suited for a family like ours, even the weather was fantastic. We all loved our stay in Cape Cod and we would recommend your house without any hesitation.

Thanks for all,

Great property for our family of 11 (9 adults and 2 children) for an extended weekend getaway!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time during our recent stay from 10/27-10/30 at 42 Beach Street. We had 9 adults and 2 children under the age of 6. We all chose our rooms upon arrival and had no complaints with the space. The only small issues we had were in regards to the coffee maker and the barbecue grill. The coffee maker leaked each morning and needed to be wiped clean every so often, I believe the top of the pot itself missing is the reason. We went shopping for grilling essentials and were bummed when we realized the grill did not work. We made the best of it though and utilized the kitchen that had all of the essentials to make our dinner work. It was a nice night though and we just were hoping to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Other than those 2 things the house and location were wonderful. The entire family made the short walk to the beach many times. Be prepared to use a GPS to find the house, the dirt road is definitely somewhat hidden with huge puddles due to the location near the adjacent pond. We would definitely come back to enjoy another family vacation here. We had great laughs and were able to surprise my mom for her 60th birthday! Our last night the weather was definitely interesting, high winds and heavy rain caused many trees to come down in the area. However, we ventured out to town to go out to dinner before returning back to the house to utilize the media room and watch a Halloween movie. Weather was perfect for this and it was a nice way to spend our last evening at the house. Lara was absolutely wonderful before, during and after our trip answering any and all questions we had.

Upon my early arrival, the property was not clean. Quick response from owner was appreciated.

I loved the location by the beach, but my group of 10 women were not happy about the bunk beds and I think in the future if I rented, its more ideal for families with kids. The other complaints my group had were that the bedding (blankets and bedspreads) were not freshly cleaned. Need more towels and coffee maker wasnt working.

The house is in a great area, good for walking and close to the beach. It was perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. The porch Is a great place to gather. Plenty of room to spread out!

We really enjoyed our time there.

Enjoyed the house, backyard and deck! Beach was a short stroll away. Had a few issues with wifi not working but was a wonderful home in an amazingly beautiful section of Falmouth. Would stay again!

Excellent rental!

House was exactly as advertised and we had a great week. A few minor issues (outside lights not working, sliding screen door ripped and leaky coffee maker), but nothing that detracted from our vacation. Thanks!

Really comforting and well kept house. Our family enjoyed the house and the area.

  • 4 of 5

The house was very nice and there were many extras at the house to support us...I.e. Sand toys, beach chairs, blankets, etc. All of the amenities were great. The roads around the house could be better maintained. They are sand roads and there were large potholes along the way, but not any indication of the house itself or the yard surrounding it.
