A wonderful experience, a charming chalet/apartment in a great location with brilliant views.

Blandine was a pleasure to deal with. The Chalet has everything you need, it is a home rather than a rental. It is ideally located for access to Prodains to get to Avoriaz skiing and an easy walk across the wobbly bridge to the Pleny for Morzine skiing. The views are great across the top of the village of Morzine and you are removed from the hustle and bustle of all the accommodation the other side of the river. The apartment has everything you require, 2 good size bedrooms and a bunk room, parking, a big kitchen with all the things you need, even a proper oven as so often not available in ski rentals, and all the IT you need. Clean and newly refurbished in a traditional style. Our best accommodation in Morzine to date and we have been going for a few years now.

Perfect pad for our extended stay

For us this was the perfect apartment for our 5 week stay in the Portes du Soleil. Ideal location, spacious, very well equipped, snug and with amazing views to keep us entertained on non-skiing days. So little accommodation provides en suite bathrooms. So having 3 double rooms with en suite shower/baths was perfect for a group of adult friends. Henri (who greets guests) lives opposite and was totally delightful and on hand to sort out the very minor problems we had. Bus stops virtually outside but also a very easy walk over the Passerrelle bridge gets you to town. I want to keep this place my own special secret!!

Lovely light, spacious property

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely appartement which has glorious views across the valley and sunshine all afternoon pouring into the main room and balcony. The small fridge (mentioned by other reviewers) has now been added to - there's a huge fridge as well. So plenty of food space for a family of five. We used the mazot to store our four bikes which was a great asset. There's also a high pressure hose to clean off mountain bikes. We kept our buggy in the enormous entry hall (which also has lots of shelves for storing bike stuff / boots / helmets etc). The bath is quite small and access a little tricky around the handbaskn for bathing kids but all totally manageable and a small detail on a really lovely holiday. The appartement is also part of the multipass system which means that (in the summer) for only 2 euros a day you get free pedestrian use of lifts, free use of the swimming pool, use of Les Gets lake, use of the Les Gets library (with English books). Really worth it. Kids under 5 get all those things free. It's about 10 mins to walk to the pool from the flat. The owner was really responsive and helpful.

Une adresse à retenir

Location de très bonne qualité avec une vue imprenable sur Morzine. Accès rapide au centre de Morzine. Appartement convivial, propre et confortable. Très bon agencement des pièces. On était 3 adultes et 2 enfants en bas âge et nous n'étions pas les uns sur les autres. Chacun sa salle de bain! Les voisins qui nous ont accueilli sont très sympathiques et disponibles. La propriétaire est également très sympathique et nous a permis d'accéder au Multipass. Bref, nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille!
