This private home is also a wonderful option for lounging, entertaining, celebrating, reuniting, and most importantly, relaxing.

To easily stock for your visit, great selections for groceries, drinks, baked goods, and supplies are just three minutes from the house. The Publix Super Market is best for groceries, wine, and baked goods, the New York Butcher Shoppe for fantastic top tier meats, and Bradley’s Spirits for liquors. For wine and beer aficionados, stop by Bottles Beverage Superstore on Coleman Blvd for a comprehensive selection.

Your kitchen is fully stocked with updated appliances, cookware, tableware, and glassware so preparing meals and entertaining your guests are a breeze. Ample seating is available at the dining, breakfast, and counter tables as well as on the screened outdoor private patio. After a meal, enjoy your favorite Netflix show or some cable programming including HBO in the comfy living room. For cooler nights, the fireplace is an excellent way to warm up and wind down from a busy schedule.

The master suite offers a king bed arrangement with an ultra-comfort combination of gel and foam materials to provide you with a restful night of sleep. In the morning, enjoy your private balcony to watch the beautiful marsh between Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s Island, watching beautiful birds and the ebb and flow of the tide will provide you with a peaceful setting for anytime during the day. Right next to your private balcony, is a screen porch with a world-famous Pawleys Island rope hammock.

The second bedroom provides one queen bed, this bedroom is also on the back of the house, providing with the same spectacular view and experience of the marsh. The third bedroom hosts two (2) twin beds, the fourth bedroom presents a trundle bed, which can be used as a sofa, as two twin beds, or as a king bed.

If your group needs to minimize the use of stairs, the house offers a master suite (fifth bedroom) on the main floor with its own private bathroom and balcony. This bedroom provides two (2) full size beds.
If traveling with little ones, two Pack & Play pens and two high chairs are also provided.

Breakfast and brunch options are aplenty with great choices all across Charleston. One of the best known spots is Page's Okra Grill on Coleman Boulevard, just minutes from the Marsh House. After breakfast, a relaxing day at the beach is also just minutes away so bring your beach chairs and drive the panoramic lowcountry causeway of Ben Sawyer Boulevard to historic Sullivan’s Island. After a few hours of soaking in the sun, swing by Poe’s Tavern for a quick bite and beverage at lunch. Packed house? Home Team BBQ is another excellent option just across the street. After indulging, head over to the infamous Fort Moultrie, where the first shot of the Civil War was fired.

Following a full day of exploring, gather the group for an evening of celebration on your private deck overlooking the amazing marsh and creek in your backyard. Your private grassed lawn and fenced yard are excellent for a quick game of bocce or just soaking in a Carolina sunset with cocktails and gourmet snacks. For fresh seafood, stop by Mount Pleasant Seafood on Shrimp Boat Lane for all the daily catches.

For another exploration day on the town, take a quick 12-minute Uber or Lyft to Patriots Point, and you’re at the USS Yorktown, Patriots Golf Links, and the Charleston Harbor Water Taxi. Enjoy a day on the waterfront golf course, explore inside the WWII USS Yorktown aircraft carrier, or hop on the Charleston Harbor Water Taxi and cruise across the sailboat speckled harbor to downtown Charleston. Spend an afternoon at the South Carolina Aquarium or ride further on the water taxi to Waterfront Park. Near Waterfront Park is Charleston’s Market Street for cute local gifts, casual shopping, and convenient dining. To help you prepare for a night out, the Marsh House features two (3) full bathrooms as well as an additional half bath. Fluffy towels and a complete set of bath linens are present, and the house also included a washer dryer set for laundering any linens or clothing during your stay. Iron, ironing board, and hairdryers are also included.

Both Mount Pleasant and Charleston provide excellent drink lounges and restaurants featuring an endless list of styles, options, and tastes. For drinks by the water, Tavern & Table is a fantastic choice near The Marsh House and only an 8-minute ride. For dinner in historic Charleston, FIG, Husk, and Halls Chophouse are world renowned but dozens of tremendous options are throughout the city. As the evening progresses into night, “upper King St” from Calhoun Street to Spring Street comes alive with boisterous visitors and locals. Stars Rooftop Bar and Cocktail Club are local favorites. For a lower tempo experience, the Market Pavilion Rooftop and The Rooftop Bar at Vendue Inn offer excellent views of the Holy City and all her sky reaching church steeples.

Following an evening out, a day at the spa & salon is another convenient option for The Marsh House guests.
