This is a fantastic spot, close to Calheta where there is a restaurant, gas, grocery store and beach. We parked above and it was fine. We will miss our morning coffee overlooking the ocean before heading out on hikes, as well as our evening glass of Madeira looking at the stars!

Quiet, relaxed and pure

The place is really relaxing, the views are stunning. The ideal place to relax and discover Madeira. The nearby Mudas museum is great in its art and architecture. The construction works across the narrow steep street were not disturbing. Next time we visit Madeira we will book here again for sure.

fantastic stay

The house is great, it has all you need. The biggest advantage if a fantastic view from the terrace. the communication with the owners/manager was very smooth. Walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants and to a sandy beach (15 min).

Very nice villa on a great location

Views from the villa are awesome. Villa itself is very good. Bit outdated kitchen and bathroom. Pool is very nice. Unfortunately there are construction works going on next to the villa which are annoying.

Very beautiful House with Ocean View

The house and the location are wonderful. The interior, the pool and the house itself are in excellent condition. Only the street to the house is not in good condition due to the construction work opposite. The owner can't do anything for it, but it's currently a small problem. The communication was excellent, and everything was well prepared. We enjoyed our holiday there very much and would like to live there again.

Beautiful house, spectacular views

The house is really lovely, comfortable with everything you need. We stayed a week and cooked some nights and ate out others. We parked at the top of the road, could have driven to the house but might have worn out the clutch- it's quite steep! Plenty of privacy and pool lovely even on sunny February days. Would definitely recommend. Communication with owner was also really good.

Stunning views, great location, very clean and nicely renovated,

Overall a fantastic place with stunning views over the ocean. The house was recently very nicely renovated (bathrooms and kitchen) and is nicely furnished. The road to the house is for the last couple of meters very steep and I would not recommend driving down to the parkspace behind the house. Also the currently ongoing construction on the other side of the road is causing noise, sometimes more sometimes less. Pictures of the house, views, rooms etc. are all very acurate and real.

A Villa with a stunning location and views.

We recently stayed in this villa for ten days, it was sublime, the villa was exactly as described, it is in a very tranquil and quiet location and, the views cannot be underestimated. The fact that its very close to the sea means that any breeze is slightly cooler than higher up in Calheta but, don't underestimate how hot it can get. Hence the swimming pool is a must, The covered Al Fresco dining area is brilliant as nobody has to sit in the sunshine whilst eating, a large stand up BBQ has now been built into the wall near the steps to the pool. There is a small supermarket just down the hill at the marina but, we started to use the Continent Hypermarket at Ribiera Brava because it is bigger and had a better range. This property is truly worth a visit.

Beautiful house. It will be renovated after this simmer even more

We had a wonderful stay. Nice house. The kitchen and bathrooms will be renovated after this year, so than it will be a stunning house. The outside is perfect. Nice view at the ocean. The pool is great, with a shower. The only thing we had, that they were building houses next to this accommodation. Work flow and notice from 8am until 10pm. They are building 4 houses so this whole simmer and maybe late into the year you have to deal with this. We went out every day for a hike. So if you want your rest this is not the right moment to book this house. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter haben uns sogar auf Nachfrage Moskitonetze an die Fenster in den Räumen im Obergeschoss montiert. So konnten wir in Ruhe nachts mit geöffneten Fenstern schlafen. Die Baustelle nebenan ist zwar nicht ganz so schön, aber wir hatten Glück, dass die Bauarbeiten überwiegend ruhten und wir daher nicht durch Lärm gestört wurden. Wir würden gerne irgendwann mal wiederkommen.

Meine Frau und ich haben eine Woche in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern im Vorfeld unseres Aufenthaltes lief sehr gut und transparent.Das Haus an sich war angenehm sauber, auch die Handtücher etc. waren sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist ansprechend und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Ganz besonders ist die große überdachte Terrasse hervorzuheben, die es uns ermöglicht hat, nahezu die gesamte Zeit draußen zu verbringen. Die Überdachung spendet viel Schatten und bei Regen sitzt man dort trocken. Von der Terrasse hat man einen sagenhaften Blick auf das Meer und die nähere Umgebung.Das Haus liegt recht ruhig. Es wird zwar in der direkten Umgebung gebaut, aber der Baulärm war sehr gering und hat uns nicht beeinträchtigt. Die Straße, die zum Haus führt, ist wirklich sehr, sehr steil. Die entsprechende Info durch den Vermieter, wie man entsprechend am besten dort sein Auto parken kann, sollte man unbedingt beachten.Generell sollte man hier ein Auto haben. Wir sind zwar auch zu Fuß zur nächstliegenden Ortschaft Calheta gelaufen, aber der Weg ist doch sehr bergig und größtenteils ohne Fußgängerwege.Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, die Fenster der Schlafräume im Obergeschoss mit Insektenschutzgitter zu versehen. Das Bad oben ist bereits entsprechend ausgestattet und die Schafzimmer würden davon profitieren. Wir mussten leider die Fenster nachts geschlossen halten, weil sonst die Straßenkatzen ins Innere des Hauses gestiegen sind.

Wundervolles Haus mit tollem Ausblick über das Meer. Das Haus liegt nahe der Küste und man hat sogar vom Pool aus einen Meerblick. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zum Kochen und Wohnen braucht.Sehr hohe Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es war wunderschön!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche hier. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche bietet wirklich alles, was man als Selbstversorger so braucht, und der Blick von der Veranda ist einfach nur unschlagbar; die steile Straße vor dem Haus allerdings nichts für schwache Nerven (oder schlechte Autofahrer…..).Fazit: wir würden unseren nächsten Madeira-Urlaub sehr gerne wieder hier verbringen.

Schönes Ferienhaus in wunderschöner Lage!

Wir kommen wieder! Das sagt eigentlich schon alles aus…gemütliches Haus (nicht modern, eher traditionell), gut ausgestattet, super Lage, schöner Pool…Restaurants und Supermarkt in der Nähe, sogar Delfine sieht man mit etwas Glück vom Haus aus! Die Nachbarskatzen, die täglich bei uns waren, waren das Highlight für unsere Tochter…nach einer Woche werden die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher gewechselt und der Pool wird auch immer wieder gereinigt. Es war ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt!

En plein cœur des bananes

Beau séjour dans cette charmante petite maison typique située en plein milieu des bananiers dans un environnement très exotique et dépaysant. On a vraiment aimé la situation et cette belle terrasse couverte pour passer de belles soirées en extérieur. Maison très agréable à vivre. Gentille attention à l arrivée avec le gâteau local et du vin madère. Bien située pour rayonner dans l île. Les points les plus loins de l île sont à 1h de route. Proche des levadas des 25 fontaines, do Alecrim etc. Nous avons reçu dés bananes à la personne qui vient nettoyer la piscine. Merci. La seule amélioration que je pourrai noter serait un petit rafraîchissement des salles de bain plus vieillottes que le reste mais fidèles aux photos (très propres mais les joints pourraient être refaits et une climatisation pourrait aussi être un plus. Bref, un séjour parfait! La rue n est pas un problème et le parking peut se faire dans la rue du dessus.

Ruhige Lage und sehr schöner Blick

Hier einige Schlaglichter unseres Urlaubs: - abenteuerliche Anfahrt (am Quinta Golfinho Apartments via Google-Maps ansteuern) - auf Katzenbesuche einstellen - die Länge der Fahrtzeit mit dem Auto nicht unterschätzen …ansonsten den Ausblick, die relative Ruhe (Straßen- und vielleicht auch mal ungewohnte Tiergeräusche bleiben nicht aus), den Pool und die fußläufige Nähe zu Calheta-Beach genießen
