Great Stay

This was our third stay at the facility and as with the others, a great place to stay. My wife and Granddaughter really enjoyed the lazy river.

We loved the lazy river and the pools with a swim-up bar. We also enjoyed the gym and free coffee. The room needs new furniture badly. We had a hard time being comfortable in any chair or couch. The patio furniture was terrible and in need of new chairs. Didn’t really get to enjoy it. Some detailing needs to be done with hooks and towel racks. The appliances worked great. The cleanliness of the room is poor. I have stayed at various condos on this property and this one by far was the worst.

River, a humongous swimming pool, and jacuzzis are very much the highlight of this propertyVery peaceful, away from tourist attractions, but still easy to driveRent a higher floor, not the 2nd floor, for the ocean viewNeither of the light bulbs in one bathroom worked. Winter Beach Stay

We loved our stay at Diamond Beach. The indoor pool sold us on staying there since it was in the middle of February. While this is Texas, the beach was still pretty chilly! The condo was nicely appointed and was perfect for our family of 4.

This is really a great little getaway down in Galveston. We only left the property 1 time. Every thing you need and want is at Diamond Beach Resort. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property

This rental was in the perfect location. Second level looking out to the pool and could still see the gulf. The two twin beds were extremely uncomfortable and the patio furniture is very sparse and weathered. Overall, would stay again.

Quick Spring Break Getaway from Dallas

Great condo, great location, lots of amenities for family activities on site. WiFi connection spotty throughout the condo and the walk to the beach isn't ideal. Definitely would think for the location and the price of the condo, beach access would be better.

Nice Condo and View

Furniture inside and out could use some updating it’s falling apart and uncomfortable. But the overall stay was great!! The view was great and we loved the pools and hot tub!!

Nice location to beach, boardwalk

Everything was nice except the sliding glass door. It was very hard to open making it hard to gain access to the patio.

Adequate condo at very nice property

Have stayed at Diamond Beach many times at a variety of condos. The bar has reopened. The landscaping has been updated. Some aging of pool furniture. Always nice never over crowded The condo was below average for Diamond Beach. For this price you can do better on other sites. Minimum amenities but clean

We'll be back

Claire with Sterling Realtors worked with us as our plans changed due to recent flooding. She did a great job making sure we were able to use the unit when we could there. The Ace of Diamonds unit on the second floor was very convenient and comfortable. The staff and especially the manager at Diamond Beach were very helpful and professional. We'll be coming back!

The condo needs to be painted. Couch needs to be steamed clean. Besides that it was comfortable and very well stocked. Communication with management was ok.

The best!

We absolutely loved this stay. The staff at Diamond Beach is attentive. The facility is clean and the amenities that Diamond Beach offers including but not limited to the easy access to the beach was PERFECT. For never having visited Galveston before we couldn’t have selected a better location to have such an enjoyable vacation. We didn’t deal with the high crowds or crowded beaches as we drove and noticed near the seawall. The low key area provides sort of a private space and it was fabulous. My family already wants to go back. And, we will be.

Beautiful Resort/ Room needs a bit of help

The room and resort was beautiful but the bed was probably the worst one I have ever slept in. Super squishy and lumpy with bad bedding. Shower was great, views amazing, kitchen so-so, but no dish towels or hot pads. 2 towels only for each bathroom. We would definitely go back IF the bed was replaced. The pools were great.

Our stay

We stayed in rm 215. The shower stall could use some deep cleaning and the vents haven’t been cleaned in awhile. Now the rest…. Awesome. I liked the secured garage parking, you need a pass and a gate open to get it. The security was top notch. The awesome desk people, that’s not what they are called, were over the top with help. The beach was just minutes a walk away. You all need to go!

So Much Potential.....but

The property is gorgeous and you cannot beat the amenities on site. The game room, movie room, and pools were incredible. However, why have a water slide if it is never utilized? Would it kill them to turn up the heat in the pools? The ocean water was warmer than the pools! The beds/couches in our condo were incredibly uncomfortable, but otherwise the unit itself was great. Parking was convenient and super easy!

Dominic, thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. Although we do not manage the resort amenities I will provide some insight. The water slide requires 2 life guards and they schedule accordingly. The outside pools are not heated but they do have an indoor heated pool and 2 outdoor hot tubs. Sorry the beds/sofa were not as comfortable for you. The king bed is a pillow top and the 2 twins are a standard mattress. The living room sofa has been replaced. Good to hear the parking was easy for you.
