PRIMERO: No se preocupe por las fotos del condominio Monte Cristo en este momento. El condominio fue destruido durante el huracán Irma y tenemos que reconstruirlo. Podemos hacer algunas reservas para 2019 sin depósito. Preferimos estar seguros de que toda el área será renovada y agradable. Actualizaremos las imágenes y la descripción de la propiedad tan pronto como esté reconstruida y lista. Será mejor que nunca.

Nuestro condominio está ubicado en Nettle Bay Beach Club, en el lado francés de la isla, en una playa de arena blanca. Nettle Bay Beach Club es un condominio turístico que ofrece 4 piscinas, 3 canchas de tenis, seguridad las 24 horas, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas para su entretenimiento. La vista sobre Nettle Bay es espléndida. Ves la isla vecina Anguilla, la bahía de Marigot y las ruinas de La Belle Creole a lo largo de Pointe du Bluff. Marigot, la capital francesa, está a 1 km de distancia y tiene un puerto deportivo y un paseo marítimo, donde encontrará un colorido mercado, bares franceses, restaurantes y tiendas con famosas marcas francesas libres de impuestos. Cada villa en Nettle Bay Beach Club es de dos pisos. Este apartamento está situado, directamente en la playa. Cuenta con una terraza con vista al mar con sofás cubiertos en el exterior, cocina totalmente equipada, comedor con mesa para 6 personas, sala de estar con sofá plegable y TV. En el segundo piso, al lado del dormitorio, una gran terraza está equipada con 2 sillas de playa para disfrutar de la vista al mar.

Fabulous Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation and loved the property. The condo had everything we needed for an amazing week! Very spacious, excellent location within walking distance of a great restaurant (Mezza Luna) as well as a gas station, small grocery, patisserie and a cute shop with rotisserie chicken. The pool (one of four on the property) was great and we had it all to ourselves many times! We also made use of the tennis courts. Marie was wonderful and helpful with all of our needs! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful and private location ideal for exploring!

We had a fantastic week long stay. It was a quiet community of condos and any neighbors we saw were very friendly. As mentioned, the beach sand does have a lot of sea glass, which is in no fault of any owners...it is coming in from the ocean as far as we could tell. Most glass pieces had been worn down smooth, but there were newer sharp pieces as well, which is unfortunate. Keep that in mind if you have children coming on vacation with you. I actually loved walking the beach and sand areas each morning and collecting sea glass to take home to friends! The water/beach area is not really ideal for swimming, but there were amazing swimming beaches near by to go and explore!! You can certainly swim on the beach at the condo, it's just not a smooth sand entry like most of us prefer. The rental process was super smooth and we appreciated all the fast communication as well as advice before and during our stay. I do think a car rental is a must staying here. Marie recommended Discount Car Rental, and they were amazing. They picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the end of the week. They even took us to a grocery store on our way in that first night to grab some cocktails since the stores were closing soon. Their office is right next door to the condo. This island really does shine when you rent a car and explore, and this condo is in a perfect location to do so. Thank you for an incredible vacation and sharing your home ~ you are amazing!

Lovely beach location with walkable access to restaurants, bakery, and convenience store.

Difficulty finding the place initially. Would be helpful to provide a map of the development. Lovely beach location with walkable access to a French bakery, a few restaurants, and a small food store. We enjoyed the gorgeous views from the patio. The pool was refreshing after a day of snorkeling. Be sure to bring US 220 (2 round prong) adapters. Stairwell to the second level would benefit from the addition of a railing or post. Also, we had difficulty locking/unlocking th main door and the slider. Miscommunication re: meeting the property manager on site. Property manager made a dinner reservation for us the night of our arrival….very much appreciated!

Lovely condo on the beach

This condo has everything that you need for a relaxing vacation in the Caribbean. The host is accessible and provided restaurant recommendations along with tips on places to go. Highly recommend!

Ocean front and clean

Very clean and well maintained. Host was very accommodating with all our questions. Right on the ocean as advertised. Did have issues with the water being shut off but our host was in communication with us immediately.

Peaceful, quiet and very relaxing. Hosts were always available and very helpful with suggestions for shopping and food. They even brought us some treats! We would highly recommend. You get a great view of Marigot, sunrise and of course the water.

Lack of Communication

I wish I could give this property a higher rating. The condo is gorgeous and well-equipped with everything you could need. The location is great and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The property was very clean when we arrived. We stayed at this property for 5 nights. Twice during that time, the entire area had no running water due to an ocean swell. The first time we were without water for close to 36 hours and the second time was for over 12 hours. While I know the water issues were completely out of the host's control, there was no communication from them regarding the water. Each time it happened, I reached out to see what was going on and had to keep reaching back out for updates as to when the water would be back. They finally offered to bring us bottled water when we hit the 24 hour mark, but never actually did. Overall, this really put a damper on our vacation. We would come back from a day at the beach looking forward to a shower before going to a nice dinner only to get back to the condo and turn the faucet for nothing to come out. At least a heads up from the host could have managed our expectations. Although there were so many positives about this property, we would not stay here again due to those communication issues.

Beautiful Beachfront Condo

We had a great experience staying at the condo. It is very close to the beach, you walk out of your patio and are on the beach. The condo does look like the listing, one thing I will say is that the outlets are French ones so you may want to bring/but an adapter if you are coming from America because there are only 2 available in the unit. We had a minor issue with the washing machine having a communication error but Marie was very responsive and able to resolve the issue quickly. There is no dryer but you’ll have a rack to hang your clothes for drying. This place is in the French side of the island and about 15 minutes away from Simpson bay. I would stay here again for the beach access.

Wonderful host and Villa, but…

The Villa was beautiful and well appointed. The disappointment was perhaps cultural and had nothing to do with the Villa or host. I was surprised by the fact that dogs were able to roam freely in community, and not all were friendly. Additionally there is no concern or responsibility for cleaning up the dog waste. Having to navigate around piles of dog waste while walking is a big turn off. Again, the host of our Villa was wonderful and the home was beautiful and met all our needs. We very comfortable!

Nice Place

The place was beautiful , could’ve been cleaner (lots of bugs) but we pretty much did a lot of cleaning . I wish the check in was a sec Check in because we had to wait a little for her to come check us in but we enjoyed our stay . Would definitely book again

Beautiful , quiet, peaceful

The condo was great. Newly updated and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet area. Pool was nice. Beach area was very good. It is a gated area with a security guard that checks the grounds from time to time. We felt safe at all times.

Wonderful Place

It was wonderful waking up each morning with a pretty view of the sun coming up over the mountains in the distance, with ocean and beach in front. The condo is updated, very attractive. We enjoyed our daily sojourn to the bakery for breakfast (lattes & French pastry) and we usually bought bread for later in the day. Also within walking distance are a couple of wonderful restaurants on the Bay side with outdoor dining. St. Martin has quite a few art murals sprinkled all over. The Wall of murals was just opposite our rental area, on the road to it. A big part of what made our experience so positive was our rental Agent, Marie-Laurie, who was always pleasant and helpful, and addressed our needs immediately. A small example was when we ran out of propane for the gas grill, they were there in a few minutes, giving us a new tank. We can't say enough about how nice and responsive she was. We stayed for 2 weeks, and wish it could have longer.

Breezy Bliss!

Clean and comfortable. Perfect spot on the ocean with views and breezes all day every day. Low key environment allowed for total relaxation. Managers were super responsive to any question we had. Easy and breezy!

Wonderful place for a family vacation

This is a great place to have a family vacation. There are no words to describe how stunningly beautiful the views are, you literally step onto the beach from your villa. I also like that there is a nice mix of English and French. You can practice your french if you chose or if need be everyone speaks english. Marie-Laure was a great hostess and made the check in process easy. She also reached out to me several times prior to the trip to make sure I had everything I needed which I appreciated. I high recommend renting a catamaran for the day with Rodney (who lives 2 doors down) at Arawak. I hope to visit agian

Anniversary Trip

This was our first trip to Saint Martin and Marie-Laure was a wonderful host! She was available for any questions we had, and made suggestions to enhance our experience. The property was clean and spacious. Enough room for four adults. I would definitely come back!

Paradise!

The Monte Cristo is beyond words! Everything you could possibly need and want is provided by the owner and the manager is fantastic! From start to finish this was the easiest vacation we have ever had. We had not been to St Martin prior to the hurricane, and did not know what to expect. We were all pleasantly surprised by the places, people and atmosphere we encountered. A stay at the Monte Cristo will surely be one of the most pleasant you will ever have, looking forward to our return trip!

Beautiful!

It actually hurts leaving this review because after Hurricane Irma I don't know what's left of this place. The condo is beautiful, you don't need anything but a bathing suit. You can walk out the back door and you're on the beach. I really hope that Martine & Jean Pierre are okay after the hurricane. Please reach out to me if I can help in any way!

Wonderful stay at Monte Carlo Condo

My husband, father and nine-year old son stayed at this beach front abode for 7 days in mid-August. While the listing is described as a condo, it felt more like a house, with a spacious upstairs master suite, including an outdoor terrace equipped with loungers. The unit was modern, well-appointed, clean and perfectly situated very close to the ocean and the pool. The wifi was also very good, with access to Netflix and other English-language content to keep us occupied when the sun got too hot. Martin and Jean-Pierre were the perfect hosts, and were kind enough to stock the fridge with some cold beverages upon our arrival. When staying on the French side of the island, make sure to take in Grand Case - the beach is fantastic and great for small children and adults that prefer to lounge (very small waves, lots of beach-side hospitality from surrounding bars). The Mezza Luna restaurant, which is practically next door, was also amazing, especially the pizza.
