Perfect!!

The house was a great location, especially for those who are going to the Gateway school for an exchange program. The owners were super helpful and friendly and responded quickly to a small plumbing issue we had. The house is exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a two month stay.

Stay in Malta 2023

We were delighted with this apartment well located not far from Spinola Bay where it is possible to take the bus to almost all places in Malta. The apartment was comfortable and especially very cool during the heat wave! The owner was very efficient and friendly. To sum up, we had a very nice holiday in Malta and recommend this accommodation to future holidaymakers.

Spacious and bright apartment

Me and my friend stayed at this apartment for one week. Because of the 15-20 min. distance to St. Julian's we never needed to rent any transport. When we needed anything (toaster, dishwashing liquid) Jeff, the very friendly host, was at our door right away. All in all, a wonderful stay in St. Julian's.

Malta for 4 months

We really enjoyed our stay beside all the smaller incidents that have occurred. Due to the humidity being very intens we didn’t let the fresh air circulate in the apartment the first months. Therefore mold had grown on the walls in both rooms and kitchen.However the house manager did helps us out with this and clean the whole apartment, no charges!The communication between us and the house manager was also good. They would always respond quite quickly. We also received some fruits from them as they were very kind to us. There is no airconditioning, so beware when booking this if you’re wanting to stay there in the summer, as malta gets quite warm. We also had some issues with ants/inesects. But again they helped us out by providing us with cleaning sprays to get rid off them. The shower was unfortunately not always hot, we really struggled with getting it to be the right temperature. But it’s fine. Overall, I’m really positive about the stay we had! We really enjoyed it. Its a perfect location especially for teens as its near St Julins, the clubs, Pacaville. Thank you again for being so very kind and welcoming!

Really nice house!!! I would recommended it!

We were 4 guys of 18 years old from Italy and we spent a week in Malta in this house. The house is pretty big, the kitchen is new and the facilities are ok. The only thing that was not "easy" was the shower (the bath) because it did not have a tent so we had to pay attention in order not to get the floor really wet. I would encourage the owner Jeff to put a tent in order to cover the water that certainly goes out. We really liked the owner (really kind and helpful) and the position. The house is about 15/20 minutes walking from the center of night life in Paceville and St. Julian. I really encourage people to rent this house and visit a great island like Malta.

First time in Malta

Apartment was a bit damp-smelling (especially the bathroom), did not realize it was like a semi-basement, but we also know now how bad the humidity is here, so this was actually quite normal. Directions from airport were a bit confusing and we had gotten in late (9:30pm) so host was not very happy about that but there was nothing we could do. We finally found the place with our Uber (after almost a year of living in Malta we now realize how problematic addresses can sometimes be), host’s wife greeted us and handled the rest of our stay. She was very nice. Overall a nice place, just not an awful lot of sunlight and somewhat damp-smelling.

very spacious apartment, but many negative points: there is clearly not enough water for 4 normal showers, the last one to shower lacks hot water and has almost only a trickle of water. Regarding cleanliness, the apartment was left with dead cockroaches in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The fans were encrusted with mold, one of them even gave off a burning smell. Obviously the pots and pans had been encrusted with grease for years I think, not to mention the amount of dust on the floor. Moreover, the apartment was very humid, so it was difficult to dry things, especially since there are very few possibilities for ventilation. Especially since there is a room without no window at all, which made the nights quite sultry. Regarding the terrace, even if it allowed us to enjoy the outdoors a little, the height of the walls can become stuffy, because the air does not pass and the vegetation surrounding the terrace takes up space on the already not very big. In addition, we realized that the owners' air conditioning was dripping on our terrace. Because yes indeed, the owners live just above the apartment for rent (something that was not specified in the ad.) It was therefore not very pleasant to receive their water evacuation from their air conditioning on our terrace. In addition, communication with the owners is also to be reviewed, a sheet was missing when we arrived at 12 noon. We immediately sent her a message to resolve this sheet problem, she replied to us in the evening at 11 p.m. telling us that she would drop off the sheet for us only the next day, so remember, the owners live just above the hotel. apartment in question. Not to mention that we hear a lot of noise from them, in the morning from 7:30 am, early enough to be woken up on vacation! In addition, the announcement told us that we were 10-15 minutes from the beaches, clubs etc. I clearly find the time indicated wrong, the sandy beaches are too far to walk there, we had to go there by uber, which took almost 15 minutes by car and not on foot! concerning the bars and clubs, I would say that we are 20-25 min on foot. So I found the ad quite misleading.

"Hola he estado alojado con mi familia en esta vivienda un semana , esta a un paso de todo, los propietarios nos aconsejarón donde comprar, la vivienda estaba muy bien,todo nuevo. Si van en coche se puede aparcar en la misma puerta (eso es una ventaja despuede de estar dando un paseo por los diferentes lugares de la isla).El unico incoveniente de la vivienda, supongo que es normal en toda la isla son los mosquitos, hay muchos. La vivienda como el lugar son muy bonitos."

Séjour très agréable dans ce logement. Jeff et Mariella ont été très disponibles et accueillants. Quartier calme et à environ 15 minutes à pied de toutes les commodités. La terrasse est fraîche et agréable. Légère odeur de renfermé en entrant, mais dans l’ensemble, bon rapport qualité-prix et expérience positive.

L’appartement est conforme à l’annonce pas de mauvaise surprise en arrivant. Celui dispose de tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour, ainsi que d’une petite terrasse extérieure où vous pourrez vous retrouver le soir. Très agréable !

Great time!

Eventhough we had some slight issues with the sink and the bathroom sink, the apartment was very good and the communication with the hosts as well. The hill leading up to the apartment is a bit tough, but a little extra training of the legs doesn’t hurt anyone :)

Prima appartement!

Tussen 31 juli en 8 augustus hebben wij (leeftijd: 19 en 21) met 3 personen een prima verblijf gehad in San Gwan. Met 10 minuten lopen naar Spinola Bay ben je al op de boulevard. Vanuit daar kun je alle richtingen op met de bus. In het appartement werkte de 3 ventilatoren goed en er was voldoende ruimte. Slaapcomfort van het tweepersoonsbed was ook goed, daarentegen sliep een van de eenpersoonsbedden slecht, de veren kwamen daar door het matras heen. Naast het matras merkten we bij aankomst ook dat het bestek en de borden vies waren, dit kwam weliswaar door de vorige bewoners, maar was dus niet gecontroleerd. Daarnaast hebben we géén vaatwasser gevonden terwijl deze wel bij de voorzieningen stond. We misten ook iets van een stofzuiger of een bezem, het is toch fijn om het appartement zelf schoon te kunnen houden. Al met al een prima appartement om een week in te verblijven, ondanks een paar mankementjes toch zeker een aanrader om te kunnen genieten van het heerlijke Malta!

Très bon séjour à St Julians

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location. Très calme, confortable et qui correspond bien aux photos. L'appartement se trouve au sous sol, il n'y a pas de vue sur l'extérieur mais la petite terrasse est bien agréable. Il est bien placé par rapport au centre ce qui permet de s'y rendre à pied ( 10 à 15 minutes de marche). Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et serviables mais très discrets. Je recommande sans problème cette location.
