This exceedingly well presented and equipped home is one of the very few 5* (NITB Certified) quality assured properties in the area.
The bungalow is double glazed throughout and has oil fired central heating, leaving it cosy no matter what the season or the weather outside. It has the advantage of having all the accommodation on ground floor level and the property may be accessed directly from the driveway via two low steps.
This bright, self-catering accommodation consists of a spacious, fully equipped kitchen/dining area, which overlooks the rear garden and has access to the utility room and integral garage. There is a dining table with seating for 6 guests (high chair available if required).
The living room is luxuriously furnished with your comfort in mind. It is equipped with Wi-Fi, digital TV, DVD player and Micro Hi Fi System. A selection of CDs, DVDs, books and board games is available for guest use.
There are three bedrooms in this rental accommodation (1 twin, 1 double and 1 double en suite) sleeping 6, all fully furnished with more than adequate storage and hanging space. A travel cot and bedding can be made available for use on request. The main bathroom has a bath, WC, wash basin and electric shower. Shaver points are provided in both the en suite and the main bathroom.
At the rear of the holiday home rental, there is an extensive, fully enclosed patio area with a built in BBQ or, if you prefer, a gas BBQ is also available. Patio furniture allows our guests to dine al fresco. Sun loungers are provided for guest use. Generous off road parking available.
Laundry facilities available with the option to line-dry in the garage or outdoor airer, in addition to use of the tumble dryer.
Well located, just off Sea Road and on the Causeway Coastal Route, it is within walking distance of all local amenities, including: sandy beach, Castlerock Golf Course, Castlerock Railway Station (on Derry/Belfast line), local shops, bistro, pubs, scenic walks. Also within easy travelling distance of local tourist destinations, Golf Courses and shopping towns.
Horse riding, fishing, canoeing, surfing, cycling, tennis and golfing are among some of the activities available in the area. 10 pin bowling and multi screen cinema at the Jet Centre, Coleraine (6 miles).

I am the owner/manager of Carraig Lodge Caslerock, which allows me the opportunity to meet and welcome guests into this holiday home, to personally liaise with them prior to their holiday and to identify their needs.

Carraig Lodge was originally built as a family home and was finished internally and externally for this purpose, therefore, I felt that this property would be a true home from home for guests. Year on year we continue to update and improve the provision for guests.
What makes this Bungalow unique
This home is located within a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty, just of the main access road into the village of Castlerock and is within easy walking distance of the village shops, bus stop and railway station and other amenities, including the Championship Golf Course and sandy beach. There are many delightful walks in the area and buildings of historical interest. The area offers a relaxed seaside atmosphere.

Our first time to Northern Ireland—Amazing!
The very well-appointed Carraig Lodge was in a safe, quiet and attractive neighborhood. Comfortable beds, large bedrooms, sparkling bathrooms, and the kitchen was well equipped and had many little extras. The owners, Lorna and Bob, were so attentive and helpful with information and local happenings...we always had something new to see and do along with the plentiful natural and historic sites and scenes in the area. What made it even more special was the convenient location...a train station within a few blocks’ walk to get to Londonderry or Belfast, or anywhere in between. Basic needs were in the village of Castlerock...small grocery store, a bakery, butcher, and coffee shop. We came to Northern Ireland for outstanding beauty, and here we found it..the beaches are incredible! There were virtually no crowds anywhere we went. Various beautiful walks from the house to historical sites nearby, cliffs overlooking the ocean, and nice forest paths. The neighbors were warm and friendly. Coleraine, the larger city about 6 miles away, has everything you could possibly need in terms of shopping. The home is exactly as it was portrayed in the pictures...very clean, large, and well-maintained. We hope to return and wholeheartedly recommend this home.
