About the property

You found our Gem in Copper Junction, Copper Mountain's premier ski-in, ski-out location. This modern retro-ish, and beautifully remodeled condo is right next to the American Eagle lift.

It's a mountain-facing corner unit with 1200 square feet of living space, including a large living dining area that has a open floor plan with the kitchen. You'll love the convenience of having 3 bathrooms!! No more endless fighting over shower-time.

You won't find a more spacious 2-bedroom condo at Copper and it sleeps 10 people for a set nightly rate. A fraction of the cost of 3 hotel rooms and you have a kitchen and washer/dryer, so you'll save on meals and laundry too!

But, please note that if you're looking for luxury or premium accommodations, Copper Junction is not the condo for you. The building was built in 1973 and has not changed much since. But, if you're looking for a convenient and roomy home for your fully-charged ski vacation, you'll love this unit. Most of our guests love the condo and its location - we have many repeat customers. But those of you who are happiest in upscale, luxury accommodations, then please check out the Cirque or the Cache!

Sleeping arrangements are: King bed in the master bedroom, two queen beds in the guest bedroom, a queen sofa-bed with memory foam mattress in the living room and two twin rollaways.

You'll cook your favorite feasts in the freshly remodeled kitchen, complete with granite counter tops, tile back splash, and open kitchen/dining area. There is also lots of new and modern furniture, 3 flat screen TVs (2 with BluRay), new bedding AND did we mention your very own washer/dryer!

Compare the size of this condo with other 2-bedroom condos and you'll see that you get lots more space for your money. The bedrooms are bigger than most of the newer condo bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. For extra convenience, there is a third bathroom in the hallway.

Copper Junction is a great location for all seasons, with easy access to the slopes in the winter. The rest of the year, enjoy Sunsation, Copper Country, Yarmony Fest and all the impressive live music lineups. All just outside your door.

Copper Junction was built in 1973, and the units within have large floor plans. And this condo is remodeled and updated, so it offers the best of both worlds - lots of room AND modern updates. Don't forget that this location can't be beat!

Payment/Cancellation Policy - We require a 50% initial payment to confirm the reservation and the balance is due 60 days before your Arrival Date. If you cancel more than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date, we will refund the deposit minus a $100 cancel fee. NO REFUNDS given for cancellations made within 60 days of the reservation. There are no exceptions to this policy. We highly recommend Travel Insurance including coverage for cancellation due to any reason. Unused nights caused by early departure, and/or a reduction in nights, for any reason, are considered cancellations.

Notes:
This is a true ski-in, ski-out building. There is no hot tub or pool at this building, but the Copper Mountain athletic club is less than a block away and is $12 per day for adults and $6 per day for kids ages 6 - 17. Kids 5 and under are free. Punch passes are also available at a discounted rate. The athletic club offers a pool, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, free weights, weight machines, a spa and more.

Great value for the price

Everything it claims to be. Very convenient, great value for the price. Lifts are right outside the door, (some ski in /out you have to walk quite a ways, NOT here)

The entire family had a great time together.

Okay...

For the price I expected more. Parking was hard as there were very few spaces and a lot nearby doesn't allow overnight parking. Plus the building reverberated sound easily. Otherwise it covered all of the staples with a close location.

Great place for true ski in/ski out

The facilities were great and we could truly ski to the door, put our skis in the locker and walk upstairs whenever we wanted to. This made a trip with a toddler much easier. Having 2 bedrooms and a large common area accommodated us all well (5 adults and a toddler). The facilities were great and the kitchen had a lot of appliances that made eating in even easier.

Although we were told there was no baby bed present (so we brought our own), we actually found a pack n play and a booster seat in the closet space.

Overall this place was great and we will certainly book it again for skiing at Copper

Great Visit / Very Good Accomodation

The Condo is centrally located and provided very comfortable accommodations for our ski vacation. The owners are prompt responding to questions and helpful with advice. I needed an extra day added to my rental and the owners sacraficed a day of their own holiday to accommodate us. It was very much appreciated. We were very pleased with our stay and have no reservations about staying there again.

Great location in the village of Copper Mountain

Nice vacation home. We rented during a summer month and really really enjoyed the home. It is just as advertised. While we aren't skiers this home would be excellent for those that love to ski as it is just a few seconds walk from the lift and yet still private and quite.

The directions provided for the property were perfect and made access and understanding easy.

The ski lift during the summer months provides beautiful views of the area, great trails to hike, and lunch at the top.

Would rent again when returning.

Best . . . but

This is the 5th year in a row I have traveled to Copper in March/April for USASA nationals. I have always stayed in this building because I like the ski in ski out convenience of the building location and reasonable pricing on the units. This unit is physically the nicest one I've stayed in. Everything has been updated: kitchen, 3 baths - plus 3 large flat screen TVs. And the convenience of a W/D in the unit can't be underestimated - especially for our 2 week visit. There are plenty of paper/soap supplies. This would have been my best experience at Copper Junction if it weren't for the *overpowering* smell of WEED in the unit. IMO the mysterious weed odor is coming from the owners closet in the kitchen. Management was very helpful in trying to solve the problem by duct taping the owners closet door, but still the smell of weed continued to knock you over. I am not a prude, but this situation was frustrating with my 15 year old son in residence. And, just offensive to live with - and to explain to friends stopping by. Clearly, someone is not treating it as a smoke free unit. It was a sad situation because the smell really detracted from an otherwise very nice, very comfortable unit.

We apologize again for the weed smell. We discovered where it was coming from and took care it. It wasn't coming from the owner's closet, but seeping in from below through air ducts. As mentioned before, it's taken care of now. So when you come back next time, you won't smell it. Thanks again and we hope to hear from you for your 6th visit to Copper!

*Copper Free Ride: 970 556-8687** In addition to the existing free Copper shuttle buses, the Copper Free Ride provides door-to-door, on-demand, transportation for skiers and riders, and is an open-air electric cart, holding 6 passengers. It is available from 8:30 to 11am and 3 to 5:30pm. The vehicle can be flagged down by guests desiring a ride, or the service can be requested by calling 970 556-8687. Riders should call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time.
