Wonderful Villa with Private Pool near Arezzo and Florence, Wifi Free

Villa Caterina is a newly built house with a large park and a swimming pool for exclusive use of our guests. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers, beach chairs, sun garden umbrellas, tables and chairs, in addition, there is a hi-fi to relax sunbathing with your favourite music. In one corner of the swimming pool area, a shower with hot water heated by the sun is installed.

For sports lovers, inside the wooden cabin, you will find to take full advantage of the streets and paths of the National Park of Casentino Forests. The car parking is located inside the property and is accessible through a gate which opens automatically. If you enjoy barbecue, you can find one in concrete equipped with firewood, and for aspiring pizza makers, there is also a wood-burning oven. Next to the entrance of the house, there is a wrought iron veranda under which a round table is placed, it is ideal for 12 people and perfect for large outdoor lunches and dinners together with your friends or family. In the garden, there is also a tennis table.

The interior of the house offers two fully equipped kitchens, six bedrooms and four bathrooms (towels and bed linen are included in the price). The house is decorated with care and with fine furniture, it offers free Wi-Fi and televisions include satellite channels and DVD player. Villa Caterina is a great starting point to visit the whole Tuscany, as it is only a 1-hour drive from Florence.
The Casentino is also a beautiful valley where the Arno river is born and where you can visit medieval castles such as the castle of Poppi, the castle of Romena and the castle of Porciano. The villa is located in the heart of the Casentino forests cataloged among the most beautiful forests of Italy, a UNESCO heritage site. The villa is located 5 km from the Arno springs where you will find a river park and an adventure park for adults and children.In addition, part of the Arno cycle route that has to reach Pisa starting from the town of Stia has been completed. This year an 18 km stretch has been completed that extends along the Arno river through the beautiful nature of the Casentino valley.

Fantastic stay

We have loved our stay here. The property was perfect for us. The owners were brilliant, especially Marco who booked restaurants and horse riding for us. The pool with views is amazing and we spent the majority of our stay here. The location is good-close to Florence, Arezzo, Poppi. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt wahnsinnig genossen. Der Check-In und Out verlief ganz herzlich und schnell. Das Haus war top gepflegt und super ausgestattet. Ideal für 12 Personen. Die Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler warwn auch klasse.Der Runde Tisch mit drehbarer Platte machten die Mahlzeiten zu einem tollen Erlebnis und vom großen, privaten Pool ganz zu schweigen. Alles in allem eine super Unterkunft die wir für große Gruppen njr empfehlen können.

Sehr schönes Haus in idyllischer Lage

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist wunderschön und ist mit einem Zaun vom übrigen Grundstück abgetrennt, was mit unseren Enkelkindern sehr praktisch war. Es gibt 200m entfernt sogar ein sehr schönes Restaurant (Reservierung erforderlich). Man kann dort einen sehr entspannten Urlaub verbringen.

Super für Freundesgruppen oder Familien

Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen in einem kleinen Dorf, bietet sich aber perfekt für größere Freundesgruppen oder auch Familienurlaube an. Wir hatten leider etwas Pech mit dem Wetter, trotzdem hat uns unser Aufenthalt im Haus sehr gut gefallen ☺️

Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt in der Villa Caterina. Leider war der Pool nicht beheizt. Das Dorf ist schön und wahnsinnig ruhig. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe waren top. Gerne wieder.

Super Aufenthalt mit toller Atmosphäre

Das Haus und die Möglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück sind super. Man kann den Tag am Pool verbringen, gemeinsam grillen oder sich zurückziehen, wenn man möchte. Durch die Lage des Objektes, war die Sonne trotz geringerer Temperaturen ausreichend um in den Pool zu gehen und in der Sonne zu liegen. Gegen Abend kann man sich hervorragend auf die kleine Terrasse hinter dem Haus in die Sonne setzen. Alles in allem eine tolle Woche ein einer tollen Unterkunft. Vielen Dank!

Super Urlaub in der Villa Caterina

Wir hatten als 3 Generationen-Großfamielie 10 wundervolle Tage in der Villa Caterina.Das großzügige Haus, der Garten und super Pool waren sehr sauber & gepflegt und ließen keine Wünsche offen. Dreh- und Angelpunkt war der große Tisch auf der Veranda. In der Nähe ist der Nationalpark für Wanderungen,die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und man kann so richtig die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Supermarkt ist ca. 15 Autominuten entfernt und sehr gut sortiert.Unbedingt sollte man einen Besuch in der „Trattoria Nonna Caterina“ machen - lecker Essen, tolles Ambiente, nette Bedienung - ein rundum gelungener Abend. Unser Vermieter Marco hatte vom Check in bis Check out stets Kontakt zu uns und auf alle Fragen eine Antwort und uns auch einen Tierarzt vermittelt! Aus Ausflugsziele in der Nähe sind die Burg in Poppi, die Kirche und Burg in Pratovecchio Stia empfehlenswert. Wer es gern etwas lebhafter hat und das Meer sucht kann zum 2 Stunden entfernten Strand nach Rimini oder zum Einkaufsbummel nach Arezzo. Alles war perfekt und wir danken Marco nochmals für 10 wunderschöne Urlaubstage in der Toskana und empfehlen es sehr gern weiter.

Toller Familienurlaub!

Wir waren mit drei Generationen und insgesamt 10 Personen im Haus.(17-34, 50-60 und 90 J.). Alle haben sich sehr wohlgefühlt und täglich das gemeinsame Essen am großen Drehtisch unter der Pergola genossen. Auch der sehr gut gepflegte Pool war ständiger Treffpunkt. Es ist an alles gedacht für eine erholsame und sportlich aktive Freizeit, die Ausstattung des Hauses entspricht voll den Angaben. Für Naturliebhaber ist die Lage des Hauses ideal, man findet Ruhe und die Wanderwege in das ausgedehnte Naturschutzgebiet führen direkt am Haus vorbei. Für Kulturliebhaber ist der Weg nach Florenz oder Arezzo über kurvenreiche Passstraßen erreichbar, man muss eine längere Anfahrt in Kauf nehmen. Die einzige im Bergdörfchen Lonnano gelegene Trattoria "da Nonna Caterina" ist fußläufig erreichbar und unbedingt empfehlenswert! Ansonsten finden sich Restaurants, Pizzerien und Supermärkte ca. 12-15 min mit dem Auto entfernt den Berg hinunter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub genossen ,

Geweldig

Rustige mooie villa in klein dorpje boven op de berg. Steeds een kwartier met de auto naar beneden om te gaan winkelen. Mooi afgescheiden zwembad dat regelmatig onderhouden wordt. Barbecue en pizzaoven gegarandeerd plezier.

La casa è comoda e funzionale. Presente tutto ciò che è necessario. Veranda ampia con un bellissimo tavolo circolare. Utilizzati barbecue e forno. Piscina bellissima, pulita, con capanno di servizio con musica. Migliorare? Aggiungere un calcio balilla, magari al piano -1.

July in Lonnano

The villa was all we hoped for and more. It is a beautiful property 600 meters up in the hills of Tuscany. We always felt safe and secure. There were geese who were our neighbors and roosters to wake us everyday. The pool was spotlessly clean and used almost everyday. We were able to barbecue and also use the pizza oven. The beautiful round wooden communal table witnessed long meals eating fresh food and telling stories. The only tough part was driving an 8 passenger van with manual transmission up the Tuscan hills! We visited the wonderful town of Poppi and hiked the nearby national forest. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were very comfortable. In summary, it was wonderful!!!

Marco and Francesco were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The house is set up a very steep hill out of Pratovecchio. Stunning views from most rooms. Florence and Arezzo accessible and a beautiful old town of Poppi nearby is a must see.

Awesome villa, perfect for relaxing!

We stayed for a week at Villa Caterina (9 Persons) and had an awesome time! The pool was lovely, and the villa provided us with an overall great location for a relaxed week. Definitely check out the Tratoria Caterina which offers delicious homemade pasta basically next door. Marco was a great host and takes good care of his guests, we really enjoyed the house!

Chers Marco et Caterina Pour nos premierè vacances en Toscane , nous avons vraiment èté gatés. Votre maison spacieuse, treès bien situeè. Une belle piscine , un bel paysage Mais c'est surtout votre prèsence discretè mais très efficace qui nous a marquè. Grace à vous nous avons dècovert en petit resto sympa accueillant pour les enfants avec un personnel très sympa. Bien sur nous avons dècouverts de beaux villages et villes mais c'est surtout le plaisir de paitager nos repas, nos jeux de societè autour d'une table originale avec toutes cers bonnes choses de l'Italie.
