"Sandy Feet Retreat" is a recently updated beach house, mere steps from the ocean. It is a comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath home perfectly located only 1/2 block from the beach, and 0.8 miles from the surfside pier. Sandy Feet Retreat offers comfortable bedding, and Flat Screen televisions throughout. We also have a new "Beach Life" Golf Cart available for rent for $200 per week. The home offers a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and tile flooring. The kitchen is complete with stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, steam-pot, toaster, coffee maker, toaster, blender...Perfect for cooking in of any style.
The living area offers an open floor plan, 43 " flat screen tv, dvd player, wifi, and plenty of comfortable seating. The home also comes equipped with a washer & dryer, ceiling fans, central heat and air, hardwood flooring and tile throughout.
The sleeping accommodations offer 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms have comfortable bedding, television, and cable. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a personal full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and shares a 'jack and jill' full size bathroom with the third bedroom. The third bedroom is perfect for children but also comfortable for adults. It has a full size bed, and a bunk bed (with full size mattress down, and single mattress up), and dvd player. We also have a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
Outdoor amenities include a front porch, covered parking, picnic table, weber charcoal grill, outdoor shower, and hose.
Sandy Feet Retreat is conveniently located close to many of the areas best attractions. The home is only a few blocks from the neighborhood park/playground, and about 1 mile from a water park. Garden city beach is directly South of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. The Surfside Pier, and yummy River City Grill are located 0.8 miles away. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Café, original Sam’s Corner, and Sara J’s Seafood Restaurant.
South of Surfside Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the 'seafood capital of South Carolina, but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, a half-mile boardwalk overlooking a pristine saltmarsh, and many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along highway 17 business.
Brookgreen Gardens is a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations. It is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet, and features several themed gardens with american figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the lowcountry zoo.
If you’re looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, the Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger Shopping Outlets, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from surfside beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at alabama theater, Medieval Times, Pirates Voyage, the Carolina Opry, and Legends in Concert. Other fun options are the Ripley's Aquarium, Wonder Works, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and the Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Several other points of interest include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina. There is also historic Conway with its downtown riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Surfside Beach, is closely located to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.
