CASA da MANGA Madeira se encuentra en el sur de la isla, a una altura de 100, a 500 metros del mar. El ambiente es genial. Zona muy tranquila, con vistas al mar y montaña.
La casa, pensada para las vacaciones, cuenta con piscina, zona de ocio al aire libre, barbacoa y amplias zonas de césped. Insertado en una pequeña propiedad de producción de fruta subtropical biológica certificada, con higueras, árboles de mango (fruta de mango) y plataneras en producción. Tierra fértil donde se puede practicar la agricultura. Puede recoger frutas de temporada (higos, mangos y plátanos) para su postre de los árboles marcados para tal fin.

Beautiful spacious property

Large villa in wonderful quiet location. Lots of space for the kids to run around and explore, and a resident duck and duck pond was an unexpected bonus

Well presented property which was spotlessly clean on arrival. Great communication from the owner who was easy to contact. The villa was as described with everything we needed, plus a few unexpected extras, which were much appreciated. The outside area was lovely and the villa was a great base for exploring the island. The washing machine was very useful following our hot and dusty levada walks, and a great villa to come back to for a dip in the pool and to relax at.

Fabulous place

We stayed for 5 nights, one of us is a wheelchair user and found the house totally accessible with a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The pool was great even in December and the kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Mangos for breakfast and great hosts. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely property, nice pool.

Lovely grounds, nice hosts great communication. Nice pool, heated so great all year round. Filtered with salt water so no harsh chemicals. Hope to go back.

Beautiful casa in its own grounds. Pool kept immaculate. Beautiful quiet area. Would need own vehicle as quite isolated and very steep hills. Owner very helpful and friendly.

Little slice of paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2 week stay at Casa da Manga. This beautiful property was everything described and more. The views of the surrounding hills were spectacular in this quiet neighborhood. Our host, Manuel left us a gift of local favorites and eggs for breakfast. He greeted us by phone to make sure everything was in order. We enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear pool. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

Fantastic holiday

Manuel was a wonderful host. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for us. The villa was a little tricky to find, but Manuel's son came out to meet us and guide us back to the property. The villa was lovely and the pool was great. We hope to return as soon as we can. Thank you so much Manuel

Thank you Manuel for a glorious stay!

What a find. Our own little Oasis in the Madeira countryside. We stayed 3 nights after some time in Funchal, and on Porto Santo, but this stood out as our highlight. The heated pool was a perfect size for our young family, and we had exclusive use. The property had everything we could wish for and will be our first port of call if we holiday in Madeira again. Manuel is an attentive host, and is expert at balancing privacy and assistance. Thank you for a wonderful stay, for all the delicious fresh food, and fit the great restaurant recommendation! Everything is in easy reach, and directions provided made the property easy to find.

White House first? Casa da Manga second.

On arrival there was a warm meeting with Rita and Manuel. As a welcomegift there was bread, butter, Madeira wine, etc. etc. Unexpected! Casa da Manga is a nice villa with a complete equipment. Almost everything you have at home is also here. There is plenty of room around the villa and ofcourse the nice warmed swimmingpool wich we could even use in the first half of February. We can recommend this villa!

Fantastic house!

Four of us shared this house for a week. It's ideally situated on the sunny side of the island. The three bedrooms were perfect for our needs. Despite the inclement weather we managed a few dips in the pool as well which was a great luxury. Wi-Fi worked well. We loved having the outdoor space to sit and eat / play games and everything was just right. Manuel was very helpful and we knew we could contact him if there were any issues. The washing machine was handy for washing the mud off out clothes after running in the mountains. All in all we are sad to be leaving and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

PARADISE PLUS

Our host Rita and Manuel were absolutely prefect, friendly, helpful and informative, a real pleasure to meet. Casa da Manga was ideal with everything we needed and well looked after. The swimming pool was good, the garden was spacious and well kept. Added to the was the adjacent plantation with Banana trees and Mango trees, the fresh mango's were deliciuous. It was idylic to be surrounded by nature and yet only 20 minutes from Funchal. Nearest restaurant was in Ribeira Brave, "100 Pressas" a mere 5 minutes drive away which served some amazing dishes. Can highly recommend the "Chef's Style Shrimps" for a starter. I must again thank Rita and Manuel for providing such a wonderful place to stay. It is on top of my list to return to in the near future

Excellent vacation

Rita was the perfect host. She went above and beyond what one would expect from the host. She picked us up from the airport late evening because our car rental shuttle did not show up and arranged for us to get a rental car from another company. We were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket and all the necessary supplies for a full breakfast the next morning. She recommended places for us to see. The grounds around the house are beautiful with fruit trees and we were able to get fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Thank you so much Rita for making our stay at your place truly wonderful. Clive and Kirti June 17th - June 24th.

Paradise

Madeira was warm and sunny in February- exactly what we were seeking. Manuel’s house is just wonderful. We used the heated pool several times and just generally enjoyed being outdoors on this beautiful island. We chose not to hire a car because we wanted a different kind of holiday- we walked a lot uphill and downhill! It’s possible to walk down to the town - maybe less than 30 mins. If we had shopping we got a taxi home for €10. Manuel is a lovely man and very thoughtful - he gave us a little welcome package of papaya from the garden, Madeira wine, local bread and more! We would definitely return and we highly recommend Casa da manga! Thank you Manuel

Wonderful stay!

Ordering process and communication with Rita was very smooth. We received a welcome basket with bread, cheese, eggs, wine and delicious mangoes, which was such a nice gesture! The neighbourhood is great: very quiet, beautiful views of the hills and banana gardens, close to Ribeira Brava. Easy to reach any place on the island. The house is spacious, there is bathroom on each floor, kitchen is equipped with necessary items (oil, salt, spices, pasta, etc). The area around the house is big - there is a mango garden with roosters and hens, swimming pool and barbeque area. We enjoyed our breakfasts and evenings on the terrace! The roosters start singing before sunrise, please keep this in mind if that might bother you. For us it was fine. We found good books about the hikes in the living room. Overall we had a great stay and would return again. Highly recommended! Vilija
