Está situada perto da Praia do forte há 15 Km norte. A Casa tem 2 andares e excelente aeração, 4 en-suites c aparelhos de ar condicionados. 1 suite no andar térreo liga-se a varanda e jardim e 3 suites no piso superior c vista p o mar. A suite máster tem chuveiro e banheira c hidro massagem e está conjugada à uma varanda voltada p o sol nascente c vista panorâmica da laguna e mar. Roupas de cama e toalhas estão incluídas.

A piscina, jacuzzi-hidromassagem, cascata e sauna complementam o lazer da propriedade. Além do jardim, há um passeio p caminhadas que circula todo o condomínio fechado protegido por plantas de preservação ambiental permanente interrompidas parcialmente pela Laguna. Um barco particular p os moradores e hóspedes translada, através da Laguna por 5 minutos, do condominio até a praia em frente mais próxima da costa do sauípe. Faz parte do nosso serviços a inclusāo de toalhas de praia mas os sombreiros e cadeiras já estão acomodados no local da praia reservados aos hóspedes. Salgados e bebidas são vendidos no local durante as altas temporadas.

Centro comercial Vila Nova da Praia: fica no centro do resort perto do condominio onde existe um centro comercial c lojas, restaurantes, sorveteria, igeja, praça de apresentações musicais+danças folclóricas de temporadas, farmácia, banco/máquinas 24 hrs, veículos esportivos para alugueis, bicicletas e outro quatro e tri ciclos. Campos de Golfe, quadras esportivas, tenis, futebol, hípica.

Porto do Sauípe: povoado que fica fora do resort à 5 km norte. Comunidade local c farmácia, dentista, artesanatos, bares, supermercados, padaria, peixaria, feira semanal e linhas de ônibus p outras comunidades vizinhas e até Salvador.

Our Villa, Flora de Sauípe sleeps 8. It belongs to a condominium Quintas de Sauípe Grande Laguna with 24 hours admins security. It is located near the village Praia do forte, away 15 Km north. The villa is well ventilated and air conditions are available in all 4 en suites. The master en suite is conjugated exclusively to a large veranda facing the sunrise. The kitchen is equipped with the most basic utensils and electrical appliances. It is connected at one side to a utility area with a washing machine and iron board. And to a dinner-living room leading to a ground-floor veranda. A well kept garden is around the villa. The private pool is next to the barbecue gourmet with an extra equipped veranda. The jacuzzi, water fall provide excellent hydromassage and the sauna is a few steps far from the showers which also are all private. A common return boat of the condominium takes 5 minutes from the laguna to the beach in front, and the residents and guests are welcome on board. Beach towels are provided by the villa but, all the parasols and chairs are provided by the condominium in our own club and on the beach site in front of our condominium. Snacks and drinks are available for sale in the club and on the beach during the higher seasons.

Vila Nova da Praia: it is a convenience center in the Resort Costa do Sauípe where several amenities can be found; bank with dispenser cash machines 24 hrs, restaurants, bars, ice cream shop, art craft stalls, tour sales office, pharmacy, derivative four/tricycles, bicycle and Golf car rentals.

Porto do Sauípe: it is a local community far 5 Km away from the resort costa do sauípe through out the BA099 motorway or estrada do coco. Artesanatos, pharmacy, supermarkets among sea food bars and restaurants can be found over there. A fair/market takes place once a week and there are bus lines to the city of Salvador daily where most of the historical touristic attractions are permanent and some are seasonal, such as carnaval parties and parades. As much as the major shopping centres and night clubs.

Conde: it is another village 100 Km far north with contrasting scenery though. It is a place where others from different communities around get used to join to a much larger variety fair/market. Everybody talks about that in the region. It is an opportunity to know more about Bahia.

I am Brazilian, married and living in Uk . I am a former research biologist and used to work at the University of Durham. I love countrysides and sea sides of any description. Flora de Sauípe for me was a kind of dream come true where I can spend time to time enjoying the place with my family and friends. But when we are not there, I am more than happy to share that piece of paradise with guests who appreciate exotic flora and animais in a peaceful and beautiful beaches under the sun shine. I just love all that! And we decided to give a fantasy name to our house such as Flora de Sauípe. I have a team there and I can manage to co-ordinate the administration of the villa whenever I am in the Uk or Brazil.

Why Ines Borges Walmsley chose Brazil

Our house is located in the condominium Quintas do Sauipe Grande Laguna and it is not far away from Imbassai village or Praia do forte.

We enjoy the scenery of the region and the warm days of the winter and hot days of the summer. The plot was chosen because it is in a location to have plenty views of the sea side and the native plants where a variety of birds can be spotted. And a comfortable size garden for entertainment and to help the enthralling hummingbird visitors.

What makes this house unique

We had chosen this model of house because one of the en-suite is located in the ground floor for who can not go upstairs easily or just enjoy stepping easily in the pool at any time. We had the house extended by designing some unique features to be more open plan in the dinner and living room. Which allowed it to have a designed veranda upstairs, another open plan with the master en-suite. It is really very pleasant to wake up and let yourselves get through to the veranda and to appreciate the sunrise most of the mornings. A magnificent panoramic view is just in front of your eyes. A sensation of comfort and cosy is just a natural mix. This is also a quite and fresh corner to relax in the afternoons if you fancy a drink, read a book, watch birds or to take a nap. The garden below surrounds the living room and the ground floor veranda, it is another unique designed extending area, compared with others in the condominium. This ground floor veranda is also a place where most of us enjoy relaxing in an hammock, where a fresh breeze is always in. This is just a few steps from the pool and the gourmet area.

There are a choice of super markets all the way along the highway BA099 after leaving the Salvador Airport-round-bound area. Large ones in Lauro de Freitas (Hypermarket) and in Guarajuba (G. supermarket). Small ones are also found in the villages around the Resort Costa de Sauípe but with moderated choices. Families should provide their own meals as stated before. However, a local cooker can be hired, pay/day and that comes as an extra coast. If you require a cooker, please request this service in advance before your arrival. Caso necessite cozinheira local, por favor solicitar com antecedência. Haverá custo adicional de R$100,00/dia.
