Really enjoyed our stay here for a Rugby World Cup weekend. Great location walkable to old port and town. Couple of great bars 5m from the front door. Anne Marie was lovely. Only downside is the lack of lift and tight stair case so be warned if that is an issue for anyone. The upside of that is a fantastic view once you are in the apartment.

Wonderful

We loved this apartment. It was so nice to have a kitchen. We ran late on the way out due to our alarm not going off so I hope we left everything in good order. We thought we were going to miss our flight. We do recommend this place highly.

"We had a wonderful time ...

"We had a wonderful time in 3 Rue D'Endoume. The flat is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful atmosphere. THe balcony provides a magnificent view of the old port and is a great place to watch sunset from. Mme Collette is a very sympathetic and approachable person who speaks excellent English. The only slight downside is that there is only one toilet but this did not interfere with our stay. We would definitely come back."

Very disappointed

It’s hard to feel like you’re on vacation when you have to lug your bags up three flights of extremely steep and dangerous spiral staircases that were not in the description. I wish that was the worst part, but the “A/C” did not have enough to cool off the house, which isn’t great when it’s 90 outside. The description says 1 bathrooms but there is only one toilet that is shared between what the host says can house up to 8. All of the closets, storage and freezer were filled to the brim with the owners’ things. Also, and this issue wasn’t a deal breaker but they had some racist art & games and extremely provocative art that I didn’t really want my seven year old to see or have to to him while on vacation (at least to Americans). We booked it for four nights but found another rental in Cassis after staying one night. I understand people want to make money on rentals but clarity on the description is a must. I have never given a review under 5, ever.

Je suis désolée que Lisa et sa famille n’aient pas apprécié le duplex et ses prestations. Et j’en suis très étonnée car c’est la première fois depuis vingt ans que j’accueille des résidents qui sont toujours enthousiastes . Il faut dire que Lisa n’a pas été très attentive lorsqu’elle est entrée dans le duplex et n’a peut être pas assez pris le temps d’écouter les consignes techniques et logistiques . Il a bien ete dit pourtant lorsque j’ai accueilli Lisa ( mais elle n’écoutait pas beaucoup ) que les volets, fenêtres et rideaux doivent être fermés en cas de canicule pour que l’A/C soit optimum dans toutes les pièces. D’autre part il est clairement décrit sur le site qu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur,( mais il est vrai que les bagages de nos chers résidents américains sont de taille gigantesque ) qu’il y a bien deux salles de bains pour 6/8 personnes ce qui semble nécessaire et un WC. Toutes ces indications sont décrites précisément sur le site. Il n’y a aucune représentation raciste dans mon appartement et la seule représentation qui pourrait surprendre est un dessin de nu artistique dans la salle de bains Je suis désolée et me rends disponible pour échanger sur le sujet Bien cordialement Anne -Marie Collette

Un emplacement de rêve avec une vue à couper le souffle !

Wonderful urban stay

We had a wonderful stay in Anne Marie's enchanting apartment located just uphill from Marseille's Vieux Port. This charming urban apartment is well furnished and equipped and centrally located for exploring this amazing city, and Anne Marie was extremely welcoming.

Lovely apartment in Vieux Port

Lovely apartment with stunning views over Vieux Port. We really enjoyed our stay here. Just 5 minutes walk from the old Port. Check in was very easy, and communications with the host had been very friendly. The only slight negative was the background traffic noise, but we soon got used to this and didn't really notice it by the end of our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Athmospheric apartment with fantastic views perfectly located

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is wonderfully decorated and charming throughout, with a great view over the old port, the city of Marseille, and the Mediterranean. The apartment is located right in the heart of Marseilles' Old Port, with lively and charming restaurants nearby. Anne Marie, the host, was super friendly and helpful, we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more - thank you!

5 days in Marseille

House sold for 7/8 people. luckily there were 5 . Access difficult stairs. Nice location on the harbor but very noisy. One toilet, one bathroom and one laundry room (funnily we were 5) The house is full of the owners' things and there is no space to hang anything. bad experience. To be avoided

Effectivement le duplex peut accueillir 7/8 personnes car il contient trois chambres équipées chacune d’un lit 160x200 et la possibilité en plus de dormir pour une ou deux personnes dans le salon qui donne sur la terrasse. Une salle de bains avec baignoire ,une salle d’eau avec douche à jets et un toilettes complètent les chambres. Toutes ces prestations sont parfaitement décrites avec photos sur le site

Week-end parfait entre amis

Le duplex est parfaitement adapté pour découvrir Marseille et les environs et surtout profiter de la magnifique vue sur le vieux port et le fort, au cœur du quartier St Victor et ses bars et restaurants. L’appartement est conforme à la description, propre, équipé et décoré avec goût, on s’y sent très bien ! Je recommande vivement cet appartement et j’ai hâte d’y séjourner à nouveau lors d’un prochain voyage à Marseille.

Bon séjour dans cet appartement bien placé. Vue magnifique sur le port. Un regret : les promesses de l'annonce non tenues (Pour toute réservation d'une semaine: Une bouteille de champagne et boissons rafraîchissantes, tickets de métro envoyés avec le contrat de location) Mais nous n'avions pas réservé cet appartement pour cela !

Anne-Marie’s property is bohemian with fabulous views over Marseille. Ideal location for our sailing weekend with a walk around the port to get to the launching esplanade. Unsuitable for the infirm as many steps up to the apartment.

On en reste sans voix tellement la vue sur le Vieux Port est magnifique ! Idéalement situé au bout de Vieux Port, l'appartement est à deux pas de tout ! le cocktail idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances en ville. L'appartement sur deux niveaux est spacieux et très bien équipé. La climatisation et le garage sont de vrais "plus". Nous avons vraiment passé un agréable séjour. Merci à vous Anne Marie !

Un superbe duplex au coeur de Marseille

Un appartement magnifique et cosy, idéalement situé et dans lequel on se sent tout de suite bien! La terrasse est splendide:elle offre une vue incroyable sur le vieux port et invite à la détente... La propriétaire a été très disponible, réactive et arrangeante pour nos horaires d'arrivée et de départ... Et cerise sur le gâteau:la mise à disposition d'une place de parking en plein coeur de Marseille! Apparemment atypique confortable avec une vue magique.il faut juste préciser que cet appartement n est pas approprié pour des voyageurs ayant des enfants en bas âge ni pour des personnes ayant un handicap.ce qui fut notre cas .souffrant d une maladie dégénérative j ai eu beaucoup de mal avec tous les escaliers pour accéder à l appartement.
