Great property in the quiet countryside of the Alentejo. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Good location - peaceful but an easy drive to both the coast and towns of Odemira and Sao Teotonio.

Fantastic place, great location

We stayed for two weeks and had a fantastic time. Luk and Charlotte were really welcoming and the family loved having the pool at the property. Stunning sunsets every evening, too. Highly recommended!

Sorry to hear hat. And it’s a pity that this was your main experience. Almost all our guests love our splendid location and it’s magnificent views and calmness. We get mostly five star reviews. Our house is also very accessible, for every type of car. Only the last 200m is a dirt road (in Portuguese: Estrada de terra batida), we prevent everybody to drive slowly. And to make sure that all our guests remain satisfied we will have upgraded the entrance road by April 2025.

Remote and peaceful holiday house

We spent a week in Luk's and Louise's lovely house on this very peaceful and quiet piece of land. The house is surrounded by oak trees and there are some nice trails to explore the premises. A big plus is the refreshing pool on a warm Alentejo autumn day, we used it every day. The house had everything we needed, we enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen and sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down over the hills. We quickly made friends with the cat and dog (don't leave your shoes outside, the dog will quite likely play with it) who joined us on the terrace. In the nearby villages there are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The next beach is a 20 minute car drive away and definitely worth a visit. I recommend a stay here for everyone who wants to get away from the busy beach towns of the beautiful Alentejo coast.

Wir haben uns in diesem paradiesischen Häuschen von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, sehr gemütlich, toller Pool, sehr nette, aufmerksame Gastgeber. Wer Ruhe sucht und in großartiger Landschaft zu sich kommen will, ist hier genau richtig. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Havre de paix dans l'Alentejo

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Louise et Luk en famille. La communication a été excellente.La maison est très jolie, confortable et bien équipée, notamment la cuisine d'été. La literie est très confortable également.La piscine est très agréable, nous en avons bien profité. Les enfants étaient ravis de la cabane dans les arbres et du trampoline. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

Niet wat we er van verwacht hadden. De afbeeldingen op jullie site van de tuin komt niet echt overeen met de werkelijkheid. Tuin is verwilderd en het zwembad mag eens opgefrist worden. Maar dat is een persoonlijke voorkeur. Super vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. De weg vanaf de openbare weg naar het huisje is in slechte staat. Ideaal voor mensen die terug naar basic comfort willen.

Mooie, rustige locatie. Zwembad is top!

Als je de Alentejo kent weet je dat het “landelijk” is, dus geen Algarve. Heerlijk rustig gelegen huis met mooi zwembad maar verder “basic”. Geen vaatwasser of TV, maar dat hebben wij ook niet gemist. De zandweg was voor ons met de huurauto (Opel Mokka) prima te doen. Luk en Louise 👍

Oase van rust

Authentiek huisje boven op de heuvel in een wijds domein (het verkennen waard!). Je waant je in de middle of nowhere en toch is de prachtige kustlijn heel dichtbij (zoek zeker de verlaten strandjes op die de gastheer aanraadt). Na een daguitstap (je bereikt makkelijk de zuid-westelijke kaap) is het heerlijk verfrissen in het zwembad. We verbleven met 2 volwassenen en 2 tieners en hadden het flink naar onze zin!

Finca in Ruhe, Natur, Pool

Luck und Lou sind herzliche, alternative Menschen. Sie achten auf absoluter Privatsphäre und so fühlt man sich in der Natur komplett allein. Der Pool ist uneinsehbar und ein Traum. Wünsche wie Kaminholz, Putzmittel werden problemlos schnell erfüllt. In der Umgebung so 15 bis 20 Minuten Autofahrt kann man alles was man braucht einkaufen. Wir hatten ein Kleinwagen und würden eher ein größeres Auto was nicht so tief liegt empfehlen, die Anfahrt zur Finca ist schon etwas beschwerlich. Wer Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit, Natur, Alternativ die Zeit genießen möchte ist dort richtig. Man hört den Kuckuck und nachts Frösche. Zwei liebe Hunde, 2 Katzen und 2 Hühner leben dort auch, dies ist auch sehr beruhigend. Vielen Dank für die schöne ruhige Zeit.
