Great location! Great views from the terrace, very responsive and helpful host. His parents who checked us in wers very kind, had some water bottles, fruits and even made some home made limonceĺlo and greeted us with some coffee. Best vrbo experience ever.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment! Communication with Gerardo, the host (who speaks English well), is easy and efficient. We were introduced to the apartment in person by Gerardo’s parents. Even though they only speak Italian and we don’t, the connection worked, and the details were well-explained. They are very warm and welcoming, and they definitely add to the authentic Italian experience! The apartment is very clean, spacious, and quiet, and the terrace is huge with a great view of Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. One evening we went to the local supermarket (there are at least 2 are within a 5-minute walk of the apartment), cooked dinner, and took advantage eating on the terrace, after which we enjoyed playing cards with the lights of Napoli to Ercolano in the distance around the sea – a very nice memory!

All was good. - very spacious with lots of supplies. The heat did not go on until 5 pm and since we were renting in February some heat to augment a portable heater would have been better.

Thank you for the review, we are glad you liked the apartment. Regarding the heating, please note that the air conditioning can also be used in heat mode during the day to supplement the portable heater. Had we known that the portable heater alone was not sufficient, we would have been happy to remind you about the AC option. To clarify for our readers, the apartment has central building heating with radiators in every room that turn on at 17:00 and off at 22:00 (these hours may be extended during unusually cold weather conditions). Outside of these hours, the air conditioning and portable heaters can be turned on whenever needed. We always encourage our guests to reach out during their stay for any needs or questions, as we are always available to help and ensure a comfortable stay.

Nice apartment in Sorrento, reasonably close to the downtown area. The host was very nice, communication was excellent, and check-in was good. We were there in January, when the weather was cold. The heating in the apartment was less than optimal - some of the rooms were cold, and heat was not available all day. The terrace is lovely, although we did not get much of a chance to use it due to the weather.

Thank you for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed the apartment and our central location in Sorrento. Regarding the heating, we are sorry it wasn't quite right for you. Had we known, we would have been happy to remind you that the air conditioning (heat mode) and portable heaters are available to provide extra warmth at any time of day. To clarify for our future guests: the apartment features central building heating with radiators in every room that run from 17:00 to 22:00 (with extended hours during particularly cold spells). Outside of these times, the AC units and portable heaters can be used whenever needed. We always encourage our guests to reach out during their stay with any questions; we are always available and happy to help ensure your stay is a comfortable one!

Great spot to stay!

So close and easy walk to all we wanted to see. The space was wonderful, and we especially enjoyed the private terrace and feeling of being away from the congestion and crowds. We would stay there again!

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view of Mt Vesuvius. We were greeted by the host’s lovely parents who showed us around the apartment. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the patio at night enjoying the evening sky and view of Naples. Hope to be back and stay here again!

Gerardo was extremely helpful. Prior to our arrival he advised us of the parking arrangements that were indeed necessary to arrange in advance and allow us a discount by early booking. His parents welcomed us to the apartment and explained the amenities.

Hosts parents met us the penthouse. Very nice people they didn’t speak English but still got all the instructions for the house across. Also mom gave us a bottle homemade lemon cello. Very good.
