Wonderful Paris2024 experience

This apartment is large, comfortable and well equipped. RER A is easy to central Paris. Rêmi is a a helpful, engaged friendly host.

Great location but misleading listing

The host was kind and the location was great, but the listing was misleading. This is not a true 2 bed/2 bath—there are open showers in each bedroom and one shared hallway toilet with no ventilation. Mold in the showers. No A/C, no fans, and no airflow made the unit extremely humid. Towels and clothes stayed wet, phones wouldn’t charge due to moisture, and everything smelled like mildew. The only ventilation instructions were in French and never explained. WiFi was unusable, cell service barely worked, and we incurred 140 in roaming charges just trying to connect to the outside world. No hair dryer (as listed), and ours blew a fuse—with no access to the breaker (likely located in the main house). The front door doesn’t lock; we had to use a heavy roll-up door in the rain. Interior doors don’t close all the way. The “garden” is AstroTurf with broken chairs. We found cockroaches and lots of mosquitos. If the listing had been honest about the setup and conditions, we would’ve booked elsewhere.

"A part quelques détails (les travaux n''étaient pas encore terminés à ce moment), le séjour fut très agréable et le propriétaire serviable et au petit soin. Le quartier est très agréable et calme, la maison est à 50m des bords de marne, qui sont aménagés pour la promenade et à 200m du centre du vieux saint maur ou se trouve une excellente boulangerie."

"casa spaziosa, ben acces...

"casa spaziosa, ben accessoriata, con un piccolo giardino e un grazioso barbecue a pochi minuti a piedi dalla RER A ideale per visitare Parigi, Eurodisney e Versailles. Siamo stati molto bene; il proprietario è stato gentilissimo,ci ha fornito diversi consigli utili ed ha anche cercato di comunicare con noi in italiano. Mi sento senz''altro di consigliarlo. La città di Jointville è per dirla alla francese "tres jolie"."
