First Time in Madrid

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The location was in walking distance from everywhere we wanted to visit and the apartment was very suitable for our family. The property manager was very attentive.

Greet location and right above the opera station. It’s very lively at all hours of the night. It’s very loud at night with people talking then when you finally think you get a break, the loud early morning noise starts when deliveries are made to the surrounding stores. The host was amazing and attending to all concerns. They weee able to bring us a fridge since the existing one was beeping throughout the night. The place is old and need a refresh like touch up paint, regrout of tiles, and a new TV. The location is perfect though.

Great location and unit

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. We really appreciated the early check-in after a long flight. The location was perfect - landmarks and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The unit was perfect for our family of 4.

Family travels through Spain

Our family of four enjoyed the apartment. It is a primo location. It is close & walkable to great restaurants, shopping & sights. Just a note, because it is in all of the action, It is loud through the night.

Great Location with quick access, but loud

This spot served our needs perfectly. Very centrally located to amazing parts of Historic Madrid. Quick access to great food, activities and the metro. The market was a short walk to tons of food and drink options. The hosts communicated extremely well and we had everything we needed. They were also very nice in accommodating an early check-in as our flight landed very early and we were in need of rest. Only complaint is due to the central location, lots of people are on the street below until the early hours of the morning. The children had a quiet room at the back of the apartment, but the main bedroom was front row to the action so we were awakened a lot from the crowds. Overall this place was great, just know Madrid likes to go late every night of the week.

Perfect

We used this property on July 2023. Great communication from the start. I forgot his name already, but the owner met us at the unit upon arrival and gave us a detailed walkthrough of the house. Area was perfect for tourists. Gracias!

Beste Lage in Madrid

Wir haben das Apartment für einen längere Familienaufenthalt in Madrid genutzt und es sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und direkt an der Metro Opera gelegen. Die zentrale Innenstadt ist komplett fussläufig erreichbar. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut und Raul hat sehr schnell auf Anfragen reagiert und weitergeholfen. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very nice apartment in very happening neighborhood

we enjoyed our stay very much. Modern, well-equipped apartment. Everything worked very well. One thing to note: The apartment sits on a street that is very busy with foot traffic at night - as late as midnight on weeknights and all the way to 5 a.m. on weekends. The main bedroom sits right on the street and there's a lot of noise. The good news is, the second bedroom is at the back of the apartment, and in there, with the door closed, you don't hear any street noise at all. It is twin beds in that second room, so you can't sleep beside your partner, but they're in the same room. :-) Check-in and out was very easy and convenient. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic Location!

Cozy & well equipped flat in a perfect location to walk anywhere and also right by the Opera Metro (which you can gently feel as it passes under the building) Easy taxi access & less than 30 min from/to the airport. The manager is very accessible & helpful. Though we lost our window views for the stay, I would absolutely recommend this flat. (The bedding could use some updating)

Our host, Raul, was awesome, greeted us upon arrival and was there at our departure. If we had needed anything, which we did not, Raul surely would have helped. Really good apartment, well furnished, and in a great location.

Great Location

This is located right near the Metro and walking distance to many Madrid attractions. The apartment is clean and secure and Raul was very helpful with any questions we had. There is a small terrace that opens up on Arenal where we sat almost every night drinking wine and enjoying the night life which goes on into the early morning hours.

Excellent stay in Madrid

Our apartment had a great location a short walk from Plaza de Sol and a short walk to all of Madrid’s best sights. Raul was an excellent host. Communication was great and he was flexible with our early morning arrival. The apartment is spacious. Bedrooms are large with room to hang clothes and take things out of our luggage. The apartment is on the second floor of a busy street. Earplugs helped us sleep. Bathroom is also large with room for our toiletries and hang towels. We also used the washing machine and drying rack.

Good location

The apartment was as advertised, good space, good kitchen, nice small balcony overlooking the street. Great AC, close to the Palace and metro stop. Lots to do in the neighborhood. The only drawback is the front bedroom is on the street side and it can be a bit loud late at night. It is obviously a popular bar area. Also, the rumbling of the subway can be heard but you quickly get used to it. Would definitely stay again.

Affordable in a central location

This is a mostly pedestrian only street and everything is walkable or easy metro. The apartment is over the metro line so we could hear/feel it sometimes. The balcony overlooks a lively street which often had lovely live music playing. The building across is architecturally stunning to look at. The kitchen and coffee station were well-stocked and Raul even made sure it had basics in the refrigerator. It was not as high-end as it appeared in photos, at least to us.

great location

Location was great, close to nearly everything, and Raul was the best, very helpful and responsive! The street can be noisy at night, and you may hear the metro going underneath the road every few minutes, but a loud, dual voltage white noise machine helped us sleep despite those issues.

Great location

The apartment is well furnished and accommodating, clean and comfortable. Three friends enjoyed our time there, watching passersby below from the veranda above and easily walking to almost all the attractions we were there to see. One problem we encountered was the loud noise from the street and the business below after midnight. This is particularly bad in the front bedroom facing the street. Unfortunately the occupant of that room was awake long into the night.

The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from all the main sights to visit. This really is the best location to be in Madrid. Restuarants, taxi stand, shopping all right in the area. The apartment had everything you would need for great stay.
