About Cheryl McCoy
Our family moved to Guntersville in 2000. We fell in love with the people who were warm and welcoming. Our children loved having the lake available for so many fun activities. Many days after school we would jump on our old pontoon boat and cook dinner on board. The favorite menu included chili dogs, chips and chocolate chip cookies. Saturday or Sunday after church we may stop at the Piggly Wiggly and load up on fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Then we were off for a day of fishing, site seeing or skiing. We have been blessed to be able to call Guntersville home.

Beautiful and cozy getaway
My family and pups stayed here for a week. This is one of my favorite places to stay now and I hope we're able to come back soon. The entire backyard was fenced in so we were able to go fishing and not worry about our dogs. This house had everything we needed. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. Cheryl is the nicest and easiest person to work with. She made us feel welcome and made everything so easy from the very beginning. Thank you again for sharing your home with us!
Jessica and her family are the greatest guests!
Hope they and their pups return soon.
The place works well for a fish camp! Our weather was not good but the fish camp was fine.
Backing the boat into the garage is not very convenient because of the road. Everything else was well supplied and in good condition. I would recommend this place for fishermen.
Good place to stay. Train can be somewhat annoying at 3 am but it must be just 1 time per week.
There were 6 of us that stayed in this house to fish a bass tournament. Garage is very convienent to park boats. Very roomy. Heat is sub par.
Great place , worked really well for our group
We would like to rent it again, March 30 2019 thru April 6th
Thank you so much for your kind response. Your group was wonderful. Hope you come back again soon. Thank you, Cheryl
Decent accommodations. Plenty of sleeping room. Plenty of parking. Nice back porch with fireplace. Kitchen is small. Train tracks adjacent keep us awake one night of seven.
Great location and nice place to stay for our annual fishing trip
Everything in good condition. Looks like water heater had been replaced since last year and working good. One note, upon check in I noticed the cover from a possibly new light fixture in main bathroom was on the floor. I don't know if it broke upon falling or someone stepped on it but it must not have been secured properly upon installation. No complaints from anybody in our group
Thank you very much for letting me know I will get on replacing that fixture. Appreciate your help
