As you step into the tiled entry, you'll truly appreciate bright open concept of this well built custom home. Main floor boasts wall to wall cherry laminate, spacious living areas & a gorgeous natural gas fireplace. The kitchen has a walk-in pantry & stainless steel appliances. There is over 2400 sqft of finished living space including 3 large bedrooms upstairs, with an additional bonus room with a pool table, Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a soaker tub. The fully landscaped front yard boasts breathtaking mountain views. Large fenced backyard includes a patio with a hot tub storage shed & backs onto a wooded area with large cedar trees. Convenient to all amenities.
We (4 adults, 2 small children) stayed 5 nights at this home and were fully satisfied in every way. The house is clean, modern, fully equipped and in an excellent location - quiet but close to amenities, the Nanaimo highway by-pass and the Duke Point ferry terminal. Jeff was easy to contact and very helpful with any requests. The private yard and hot tub were nice additional features that we also enjoyed. We can fully recommend this place to anyone visiting Nanaimo.
Dealt with Jeff directly for our two week vacation at his house and had no problems at all, Jeff was very helpful and prompt with his replies to all our questions.
The house was clean the beds comfortable and everything as advertised on his web site.Just before we arrived the pump on the hot tub packed up but Jeff
got it replaced within two days so no complaints there.
Would recommend Jeff's house to anyone thinking of spending some time on Vancouver Island.
My wife and I and our three children (ages 18, 16 and 12) had a very enjoyable stay for three nights at this home earlier this month. The home is in a quiet residential neighbourhood with a walking trail and boardwalk through a marsh close by. The location is very convenient to the terminal for the ferries to and from Tsawwassen (the one we used) and likely not far from the terminal for the ferries to and from Horseshoe Bay, although we didn't need to use that terminal. The large, fenced back yard was a nice place for us to relax and also great for our dog. The hot tub made the back yard even better! There's lots of space inside, with a great kitchen, comfortable family room and a pool table in another room. Downtown and the waterfront are a short drive away. You can catch a walk-on ferry to Newcastle Island for a pleasant day trip, and Nanaimo isn't far by car from other attractions on Vancouver Island. We would certainly recommend this property.
We had a great stay here on our trip to the Island. Lots of space and a great backyard. The neighbourhood is very nice and is close to shopping. There are also a great trail network close by to get walks in. Definitely at the top of our list!
Jeff was a terrific host and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.
We had a great stay here! There was so much room for my my family of 4! The backyard was fenced and wonderful for the kids! My husband and I enjoyed to hot tub and the pool table! Great place to stay with the kids!
The house was in a nice location with mountain views and in a quiet location. The home is well equipped and clean. The owner was great to deal with. Excellent value for the money.
We would definitely recommend this home in Nanaimo.
