Excellent stay in La Rochelle

Alain and Sylvia met us at the apartment after we had some issues with La Rochelle’s awkward traffic system and parking. They were very helpful and showed us around the apartment which is very well set up and very close to the port area with its many cafes and restaurants. I would happily recommend the apartment to others.

Fabulous stay in La Rochelle

A fantastic location on the 4th floor but with an elevator. The apartment is on 2 levels with a narrow spiral staircase between them. You are literally 10 minutes from all parts of the old town with lots of options for restaurants, bars, cafes and food markets. Highly recommended.

One of our best decisions!

We have wanted to visit La Rochelle for years. When I found this apartment & saw the view from the balcony I knew it would be perfect. Our hosts provided everything in abundance. Our bed linens & blankets were wrapped fresh from the cleaners. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Great apartment in perfect location!

Well situated and maintained modern apartment with all modern amenities in full working order, airconditioning, microwave, etc. If arriving by train with baggage, please note taxis are very difficult to find at the station taxi rank.

Magnificent

A wonderful place to stay. Right in the heart of the old town of La Rochelle. Front door on the main pedestrian street at the port. Lovely terrace overlooking the port and two towers. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment. There is a lift up to the apartment. Spiral stairs up to the kitchen sitting area may be difficult for persons with limited mobility.

Perfect Location

We spent a wonderful week or so here in a great apartment with a fantastic terrace with the most wonderful views. The property is well provisioned and there is nothing you want for. I'm loathed to recommend it, as I want to be able to come back and for it to be available. However I HAVE to recommend it. Perfect location and setting. Great facilities and certainly enhanced the enjoyment of our holiday,

Amazing location

Incredible location and space for a week in La Rochelle. A few miscommunications on the write up on Vrbo, bedding and towels you need to provide yourself. Arrival is not contactless and we found out on arrival that there was cleaning fee/deposit to be paid on arrival. Luckily we didn’t have too as we had no cash but would have been good to know this before tuning up. Overall though the stay was fab and the location is incredible, hire a bike best way to get around La Rochelle and take in the beautiful town.

Vue magique sur les toits et le port de la Rochelle

Appartement idéal pour découvrir le coeur de la Rochelle à pied (et bateau pour excursion sur l'île d'Aix par exemple). Si vous venez en voiture, laissez la dans l'un des parkings souterrains de la ville.

Über den Dächern der Stadt

Wir haben 2 schöne Wochen in dieser hübschen Wohnung verbracht. Ihre Gestaltung ist besonders!. Die Dachterrasse ist genial, gut ausgestattet und mit super Blick auf Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Dachlandschaft. In heissen Zeiten ist es gut, dass es eine Klimaanlage gibt und gute Fenster, wenn es in den Strassen lebhaft zugeht. Gute Betreuung durch die Agentur. Julian hat bei technischen Problemen rasch weiter geholfen.

Le logement est magnifique est situee dans un tres beau endoit avec un vue incroyable. A l interieur le logement est moderne, bien equipe et tres propre. Super Wohnung mit wunderschönen Blick

Wir haben uns in dieser Wohnung rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Verständigung mit Alain und Sylvie und auch France war unkompliziert und hat sehrgut funktioniert. Die Wohnung mit der Dachterrasse und dem Blick auf den Hafen ist einfach wunderbar. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Viele Grüße Beate und Martin

Tolle Wohnung in charmanter Stadt

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen. Der Check-in war einfach und sehr herzlich (obwohl wir uns verspätet haben). Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet (inkl. Küche). Fantastisch: Die Dachterrasse! Dort sitzt man über dem Trubel der Stadt mit einem sensationellen Blick auf die Dächer und den Hafen. Das Auto konnten wir in ca. 500 Meter Entfernung kostenlos parken. In der Stadt braucht man kein Auto. Die Wohnung liegt zentral mitten in der Stadt. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Best short term rental ever

The location in the center of this very old and preserved town is wonderful. The unit is in an old building, recently updated with nice art, appliances and interior design. The elevator is convenient and easy. We are older and the spiral stair was no problem. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom quiet. The deck and view of the harbor is awesome. Everything is very nearby in this pedestrian friendly small city. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and told us about the market a few blocks away that is a wonderful happening on Saturday mornings and suggested the restaurant Bistrot du Port across the street. Highly recommend this unit.
