Great host at an exquisite location

Raffaello was a terrific host. He thoroughly explained all the features of the house, made sure we were familiar with accessing the incredible beach area, and recommended places to visit in Gargano and beyond. We could have stayed there for weeks and been very content. If you want to start your mornings on the spiaggia più bella del Gargano before exploring all that this beautiful region has to offer, you cannot do better than here.

Séjour en famille à Baia dell Zagare

Nous avons passé 1 semaine de vacances en famille à 5 (2 adultes, 3 adolescents) chez Rafaello. Accueil et disponibilité au top, l'endroit est magnifique avec un accès sur une plage privée en quelques minutes. Possibilite d'explorer les environs en canoë. Il y a beaucoup d'endroits à visitee aux alentours qui valent le détour.

Un séjour enchanteur

Maison impeccablement tenue dans un très bel endroit, au sein d'un vallon verdoyant donnant accès à une plage privée, déserte en cette saison. Raffaello nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a fourni de multiples conseils et bons plans pour visiter les environs. Nous recommandons absolument.

Endroit incroyable ! Dans une baie magnifique et calme Plages somptueuses avec des criques très belles et grottes dans les falaises. Zuvorkommender und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Alles sehr sauber und bestens organisiert. Auf Wunsch wurden für geringen Aufpreis (30,-€ für 2 Personen) Bettwäsche und Handtücher bereitgestellt. Grill, küche, gefrierschrank, waschmaschine und geschirrspüler, alles tiptop. 5 min zum strand. Sicheres Parken da alles überwacht.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Urlaub! Das Meer ist fünf Minuten vom Haus entfernt. Der Strand ist die Hauptattraktion! Sauberes Wasser, schöne Aussicht und wenig Leute :). Unser Gastgeber war sehr gastfreundlich! Er war immer in Kontakt und gab Ratschläge und Empfehlungen. Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet, hatte alles, was wir brauchten und mehr (Spülmaschine zum Beispiel) und vor allem war es überhaupt nicht heiß in der Hitze. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

Schöne Unterkunft an einem Traumstrand

Sehr gute Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem wunderbaren Strand. Gute und umfangreiche Ausstattung, schöner Grillplatz und Terrasse. Raffalello ist ein sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Vermieter und gibt umfassende Einweisung in Haus und Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in Mattinata verlebt. Das Haus liegt in mitten den Bergen (ca. 20 Autominuten entfernt von dem nächsten Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) in einer kleinen und ruhigen Wohnsiedlung oberhalb von zwei Hotels mit Privatstrand, den wir mit nutzen konnten. Der Strand mit grandiosem Ausblick ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten über die Hotelanlage zu erreichen. Das Haus hat eine sehr schöne Terrasse, auf der wir die Abende verbracht haben. Der Kontakt mit Raffaello, dem Vermieter, war sehr unkompliziert und nett. Er empfing uns mit köstlichem Mozzarella aus der Region und war für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar. Auf seinen Tipp hin haben wir auf der Rückfahrt noch das wunderbare Universitätsstädtchen Urbino besucht, woran wir sonst bestimmt vorbeigefahren wären.

Worst place ever

We had a horrific experience at this property . DO NOT STAY HERE This is NOT a villa- it is a basement dwelling with no view and no light . The bedrooms are many steps down in a basement with very little light . It is a fire danger as if there is a fire upstairs there is no way to get out . Very disturbing and we could not sleep . The bed is horribly uncomfortable. There were hardly any essential items- little bit of toilet, no hand soap, no dish soap , even during covid . Terrible sheets and towels and then NO HOT WATER . It wasn’t very close to the beach ( but the beach was beautiful) after a walk there and 17 flights of stairs down . The owner was not helpful and very unkind . This is the worst place we have ever stayed and had to leave early since it was fire danger and there was no hot water .

La signora Kathy nonostante avessi spiegato bene le caratteristiche è rimasta delusa perché convinta che la casa avesse la vista mare. La casa si sviluppa su due piani ed ha le camere da letto poste al piano inferiore, con soffitti molto alti da 360cm, e finestre molto grandi (200x150cm). Costituiscono, pertanto, un punto di forza della casa, in quanto fresche e silenziose, apprezzate da tutti gli ospiti, come dimostrato dal punteggio massimo finora ottenuto in tutte le recensioni e dal fatto chi vi ha soggiornato spesso conferma la propria prenotazione per l'anno successivo. L'accesso al mare è garantito, fino alla chiusura dell'Hotel Baia delle Zagare da ascensore di sua proprietà. Per tutto la restante parte dell'anno da una comoda scalinata panoramica. Fornisco una dotazione iniziale di detergenti, caffè, zucchero, olio. ecc. e biancheria a richiesta, nel caso di specie, concessa in via del tutto gratuita. Certamente, affitto una casa vacanza e non una suite di lusso in albergo e, pertanto, non è possibile pretendere servizi ulteriori. Quanto alla lamentata mancanza di acqua calda, sarebbe bastato mandarmi un messaggio e le avrei detto come sbloccare la caldaia, andata in blocco, pigiando un semplice pulsante. Raffaello,

We enjoyed our stay in Raphaelos house very much. The dream beaches of Gargano can be reached in a few minutes on foot. House with green terrace surrounded by nature for a relaxing holiday

The place is far better than what can be determined from the pictures. The house shows a lot of details of simple elegance and it is at the same time very functional and practical for living and as a base for day trips in the surroundings. The house is furnished to ensure a comfortable stay. The outdoor area is fantastic! The nearby pebble beach offered a nice view and water, and is relatively empty due to the restrictions from the local council and the access through the neighboring hotel. There is a second sandy beach, which is also reachable on foot but requires about 30 minutes to get there. The attentive support from Rafaello with his recommendations and engagement ensured that any issue would be solved without delay. He and his wife made us feel as if belonging to a community of neighbors.

Sensationell gelegenes Haus

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig oberhalb einer Privatbucht. Der Zugang zum phantastischen Strand erfolgt über einer Hotelanlage. Da diese im Oktober bereits geschlossen war, hatten wird den Strand für uns alleine. Restaurants und der Supermarkt sind weiter entfernt, was uns nicht gestört hat. Wer Ruhe und tolle Landschaft liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus selbst ist sehr gut ausgestattet und alles ist ziemlich neu. Wer nicht im Hochsommer kommt, sollte zum Schlafen kuschligte Sachen mitnehmen, da die Schlafzimmer im Souterrain liegen. Raffaello ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und kümmert sich wunderbar!

Relax in beautiful surroundings

The villa matched the pictures and description. The terrace was large and spacious with both sun and shade. The villa was well furnished with cool and insect free bedrooms below the living room / kitchen. The nearby beach was exceptionally beautiful. The owner, Raffaello, was incredibly helpful and friendly - a very pleasant landlord.

Un posto paradisiaco

Ho trascorso una settimana in un posto esclusivo e molto suggestivo. La baia delle zagare è inserito in un contesto naturale di rara bellezza con pini marittimi e bouganville che incorniciano il paesaggio. Il proprietario della casa, Raffaello, si è dimostrato di una gentilezza e cordialità davvero squisite, e ci ha fornito degli ottimi suggerimenti per vivere al meglio la nostra vacanza. Suggerirei a tutti questa bellissima esperienza.

Vacanza di lusso

La casa è perfetta per una vacanza anche con bambini ( noi ne abbiamo 3). L’area esterna è grande e permette di pranzare e cenare all’aperto molto comodamente. La cucina ha tutto il necessario, così come il bbq esterno. La zona notte è seminterrata, spaziosa, silenziosa e soprattutto freschissima. Il mare è a due passi ed è semplicemente stupendo. Abbiamo fatto anche numerosi giri in canoa, messa a disposizione da Raffaello, alla scoperta delle cale e grotte della zona: posti unici e bellissimi. Raffaello è stato più che un padrone di casa! Ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio, ricco di consigli, suggerimenti ( dove andare a mangiare, cosa visitare e dove andare a fare la spesa). un amico! Grazie da parte nostra!

Schöne Wohnung nah an einem Traumstrand

Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig und abgelegen. Wer Bars und Restaurants sucht, ist dort falsch. Sie hat einen schönen Garten bzw. Vorplatz, gute Ausstattung und liegt vor allem ein paar Minuten von einem der schönsten Strände Italiens entfernt. Diese sind nur über ein Hotel zugänglich. Leider kann man die Einrichtungen des Hotels nicht mitnutzen, nicht einmal die Strandbar. Dazu mussten wir in die Nachbarorte fahren. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist sehr schön. Wir waren nach einem langen kalten Winter und Frühjahr die ersten Gäste, deshalb waren die Schlafzimmer im Keller - sehr kühl, sicher toll im Sommer - noch klamm und feucht. Das war der einzige Kritikpunkt, könnte im Sommer aber anders sein. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch den Besitzer Rafaello, kümmert sich auch während des Aufenthalts um alle Fragen. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung!

Erholsame Tage in geschmackvoller Umgebung Ende Mai/Anfang Juni 2019

Die strandnahe Lage mit Zugang zum sonst nur den Hotelgästen vorbehaltenen Traumstrand und die geschmackvolle Ausstattung des Objekts, mit allem was man so braucht, haben uns begeistert. Sogar eine Außendusche mit Warmwasser war vorhanden. Der Vermieter stand mit Rat und Tat jederzeit zur Verfügung. Das anfangs noch etwas kühle Wetter (Ende Mai) haben wir dazu genutzt, die Gegend zu erkunden, denn es gibt in einem Umkreis von ca. 50 km genügend Städtchen, Orte, Traumstrände und herrliche Natur zu entdecken. Ein Panoramaweg mit bombastischer Aussicht ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub in einer gemütlichen Unterkunft! Vielen Dank Raffaello!

Splendido soggiorno

Un soggiorno in pieno relax, in un posto meraviglioso ed esclusivo. Padroni di casa gentilissimi e disponibili, l'appartamento è molto confortevole (freschissime le camere da letto) e be attrezzato, con ampio spazio all'esterno. Veramente una bella vacanza in 5 con le nostre figlie. Grazie ancora Raffaello e Mariangela Gabriele
