Lovely stay

Really enjoyed our week in Maderia and the villa was a perfect base. Roomy and spacious with a beautiful outside sitting area with pool. The games room was also ideal . 10 minutes walk uphill to restaurants and shops with lots of choice. 12 min drive to airport and 15 mins to Funchal. Electric gate and garage door so useful for rental car. Great spot and would recommend

Großzügiges Ferienhaus in schöner Lage

Das großzügige Ferienhaus liegt mit einem Blick auf das Meer in wunderschöner Lage. Einkaufsmärkte, Cafes und Restaurants liegen in Fußnähe. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war problemlos und der Checkinn entspannt. Das Haus hat eine große Küche und einen einen riesigen Wohnraum mit Essbereich. Von einem der 3 Schlafzimmer guckt man auf die Bucht und das Meer. Der Pool ist groß und warm und die Terrasse ebenfalls großzügig. Eine tolle Unterkunft, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, allerdings ein wenig hellhörig. Die Türen sollten unbedingt mal eingestellt werden, da Sie teilweise am Boden schleifen undman dies speziell in der Nacht im ganzen Haus hört. Matratzen sind sehr hart (aber besser wie zu weich) Ansonsten ist das Haus sehr zu empfehlen.

Everything perfect!

The communication before was very good, and from check-in to check-out it was just perfect. The house is perfect for 4-6 persons, everything you need is existing. The view perfect, pool is nice, BBQ-place cozy, the play-room cool. Overall satisfying, we would like to come back :-)

Such a nice place

This house has everything you can ask for to feel at home. Wonderful view from the pool/terrace and you can have fun in the gameroom. It is a "little" bit up hill to walk to shops and restaurants. We didn't have rented a car, but it was easy to make a deal with the taxidrivers to make a stop at the supermarket and get the shopping done. We can recommend restaurant Frango da Guia in Garajau - and don't forget to visit restaurant do Forte in Funchal. Our daughter and son in law had a great dive with divecenter at the beach right in front of the house.

Lovely property everything great

We had a really great stay at this property. Everything was just as described. We found the kitchen very well equipped. the bedroom and bathrooms we used were excellent. The lounge and outside areas were great and the property was particularly clean.. I cannot think of anyway our stay could have been improved. Thank you.

Would love to stay again

We felt very welcome as we arrived and got warmest service from Susan during our stay. House was way bigger than we tought and had everything we needed. Close to Funchal downtown, easy to find and stores nearby. Nice quiet area.

Relaxing hiking holiday

We had a group of six people, my wife, brother and sister as well as two postgrowth representatives (both already adults). During the week we visited the Levadas and nature around the island. Botanical garden and Funchal also belonged to place of excursion. The location of the apartment was excellent for this purpose.

Great villa in great area!

We stayed at this villa with friends in October 2018 and had a fabulous time. We all loved it. The villa is perfect and is equipped with everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It is very clean and has a great layout, with living area, kitchen and bedrooms on one level. Having 3 individual bathrooms was great and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding if needed. The pool and outdoor areas are wonderful. There are 6 loungers and an outdoor table which was great to eat al fresco! There is also a BBQ at the back of the property. We had the pool heated which I would recommend, as we were able to use it every day. There is a great games room upstairs which is ideal for families and friends. There is a sofa bed up there too, but we didn't need it. The owners Susana and her husband were so helpful and easy to work with and so were the property managers at Our Madeira. They all made the whole booking process and stay really easy. Although it is an uphill walk into Garajua, it is fine, and only takes 10-15 minutes and there are lots of restaurants, bars and ice-cream places to visit as a reward after walking there - then it is all downhill on your way back! There are plenty of supermarkets in Garajua too. A couple of nights we got takeaway food from Tourigalo, which was reasonable and very tasty. Right across the road from the villa is a little bar if you want a quick drink and snack or take the cable car down to the beach and try the restaurant there, it was great. For a couple of euros a local bus will take you into Funchal in about 15-20 minutes so you don't always have to drive either. Plenty of taxis in the area too. I wholeheartedly recommend this villa and hope to return in the future.

Sehr geräumiges und zweckmäßiges Ferienhaus

Das sehr geräumige Ferienhaus in bester Lage (Meerblick, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) hat 3 schöne Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad mit Dusche und/oder Badewanne, zusätzlich zwei Schlafgelegenheiten auf den Speicher, Dort auch Tischfußball und Billiard. Zahlreiche geräumige Schränke sind vorhanden. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig und vielfältig eingerichtet, eigentlich fehlt nichts. Die Qualität der Messer und mancher Gerätschaften könnte besser sein, wer viel selbst zubereiten will sollte sein eigenes scharfes Messer mitbringen. Auch das Sofa im Wohnzimmer ist sicher nicht das neueste und etwas durchgesessen, aber das war es auch schon mit der Kritik. Das Schwimmbad war sauber, lässt sich nachts einfach abdecken. In einem Fitnessraum im Keller gibt es eine funktionierende Sauna, ein Laufband und Punchingball. Sitzplätze und Tische drinnen wie draußen sind zur Genüge vorhanden, auch ein Grillplatz und eine große Garage sowie eine Außendusche am Pool. W-Lan funktionierte schnell und ohne Störungen. Wir haben uns zu viert sehr wohl gefühlt, kleine Mängel wurden sofort beseitigt. Das Haus ist sicher auch für Gruppen/Familien mit 6 oder 8 Personen geeignet.

Everything you could ask for and more!

Nice to find a place exactly as represented online, plus more! We had a location that was close to all amenities but also felt so exclusive and private. Our family gatherings were well attended and loved by all guests invited to many celebration parties! Villa comes equipped with everything needed to host company. We asked for the pool to be heated (recommend if you like a warmer swim). The pool was well enjoyed by all and made our stays at home unbelievable! Our favorite beach was just below the Villa and one of the most famous attractions was my bedroom view! Cristo Rei do Garajau! The drive under Villa garage and remote gate felt very secure. From the full kitchen, laundry, games room and each room having access to a private bath made our stay so very enjoyable! The owner was always responsive on any requests made. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful (loved cleaning day!). Any extra cleanup or prep for our gatherings was done amicably with the cleaning staff all arranged! Such a stress free stay!

SPLENDID VILLA

Magnificent villa, hyper equipped, according to description. We enjoyed the sea view, and the location of the house, close to FUNCHAL. Everything was perfect, especially the games (billiards, babby foot, ping pong ...). Our next trip to Madeira will definitely be in this villa.

Villa mit vielen Möglichkeiten, gute Lage

Die Villa bietet viele Möglichkeiten für eine junge Familie. Hervorragende Ausstattung und guter Service. Die Lage für Ausflüge an die vielen schönen und beeindruckenden Ziele auf der Insel ist ideal. Da die Villa langsam in die Jahre kommt, gibt es keinen fünften Stern. Im Ort (steil bergauf) findet man Geschäfte und Restaurants. Steil bergab gibt es einen beeindruckenden (Stein-)Strand. Madeira ist top!
