The Stables at Partridge Lodge.

Just a 5 minute drive from the popular market town of Woodbridge, this is an ideal location for holidays or weekend breaks within easy reach of Aldeburgh, Snape, Southwold, Orford, Bawdsey and many other beautiful Suffolk highlights.

The Stables - Sleeps 2-3+ infants (optional sofa bed ) Comes as an open living space with bedding that can be made up as 2 singles or 1 kingsize upon request. Bespoke kitchen and separate bathroom with WC and large shower. Outside there is room for dinning alfresco and a BBQ. There is also a sofa bed and travel cot upon request for per night fee on our web site.

Our plan has always been, and remains, that Partridge Lodge should be a relaxing, interesting and fun place for friends and families to come and spend their much prized holiday time. We provide everything you need to get your holiday started including child friendly equipment that we know from our own experiences can lead to heavy and rather bulky packing, which would be great to avoid.

Although there is (thankfully) no getting away from the beautiful Suffolk countryside and all the areas of interest that it has to offer. We are nestled in the country yet only a few minutes from Woodbridge, well known for its restaurants and bars, and with easy reach of the county's heritage coastline from Southwold to Aldeburgh to Orford.

On arrival there is a welcome book with notes and advice with plenty of history and suggestions for the local area.
We have a six person barrel sauna for use when requested, its takes an hour or so to warm up.
We have dog fees for extra deep cleaning at £6 per dog per day, please request before arrival.
Each house comes with a standard size BBQ.

Second Visit

This was the first time we have stayed in the Stables having previously stayed in the Granary and would like to say how much we liked the Stables. As there were only two of us the Stables was an ideal size and very pretty. We were made very welcome again by Sarah, and the lemon drizzle cake she gave us was delicious. The location of the accommodation was excellent with views over the surrounding fields. We look forward hopefully to coming again next year.

Cosy stay

Location perfect for our needs. Kitchen had good range of equipment for self catering. Very useful to have highchair, travel cot, baby bath and toys provided for our little one.

Back in a familiar place!

Been here many times as it is in an ideal location with easy access to Woodbridge, Orford, Aldeburgh and Southwold. The owners of this property are great people, too!

Fab break in Suffolk

Just back from a fantastic few days in Suffolk. We booked the accommodation on a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint in any way. Perfect location for touring around the sights of Suffolk. Set in the beautiful countryside totally peaceful & beautiful setting. Welcomed in our accommodation with gifts which was truely a lovely touch. Sarah welcomed us so warmly & provided many places to visit. We had a brilliant few days with the bonus of coming back to a beautiful place to stay. Thank you will definitely be returning

The Stables at Partridge Lodge

We have stayed at this location multiple times. We love its open plan setting and the kitchen area is perfect for self catering. The location near Woodbridge makes it easy to access the sights along the Suffolk coast.

We really enjoyed the peaceful location. The stables have a view of a small coppice and farmland and the sunrise was spectacular. Our hosts were really helpful when booking and there if we needed them. The stables were well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

5* stay in beautiful Suffolk countryside!

Sarah made our stay so seamless and welcoming. We took our 4 week old baby on her first staycation. Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful providing all the essential baby bits you could think of. The stables were spacious, clean and extreamly comfortable. The bed was super comfy and huge...lots of room for the three of us. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking our dinners. The lounge was great for getting cosy and watching movies. The setting the stables is set in are truly beautiful - lots of lovely places to walk right outside your door. We also ventured to local areas including Woodbridge, Bawdsy Quay, Helmingham Hall Gardens, Snapemaltings etc all fab recommendations from Sarah! We will be sure to visit again.

Lovely location

We had a fabulous stay at the stables which provides comfortable and clean accommodation with walks from the door. Sarah is a great host and was very helpful in suggesting beaches, cafes and dog walks.

Lovely stay

The Stables was perfect for a week's stay. Everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Great location just outside Woodbridge near the A12 so easy to drive to all the places along the coast we wanted to visit.

Perfect little hideaway

Pam and I with Flick our dog stayed 3 nights in The Stables at Partridge Lodge and loved being there. The interior of The Stables is so well designed giving a feeling of airy space when in fact it is compact and has everything needed for a perfect stay. Excellent kitchen facilities, cosy eating corner, comy relaxing area and delightful sleeping area cunningly hidden in the open plan design, It worked perfectly for us. Fantastic shower in the bathroom (which wasn't included in the open plan!). Outside the sitting area overlooked the countryside and you feel to be away from the crowd and indeed you are. Aaron and Sarah very welcoming and helpful when needed to be. Would happily stay there again.

A comfortable week in Suffolk

We enjoyed our stay at Partridge Lodge. We needed a base to explore the area while visiting our son living in nearby Kesgrave who would be at work during the daytime. The Stables gave us just the convenience and comfort we needed. Would have preferred a dishwasher to the washing machine as we were seeking a restful break, not laundry.

A beautiful rural retreat with wonderful hosts

Partridge Lodge was just gorgeous. The accommodation was fabulous with stunning views just outside the door. The setting was so lovely and near to the many places to visit around Suffolk (you do need a car). Aaron and Sarah were so friendly, kind and helpful and gave us some great tips for places to visit/eat and enjoy. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Partridge Lodge and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I would definitely go back there as it is suitable for families or a stay with friends. I feel totally refreshed!

Perfect birthday accommodation!

The 'Stables' was an ideal self-catering accommodation for us. Roomy, well appointed open-plan space that immediately felt like home. Check the Partridge Lodge website for the other possibilities for families and larger groups at this fantastic property. Fresh eggs from resident hens were a bonus!

Very good stay. A lovely area lot to see and do.

The property was in good condition and it was good value for money. A good welcome pack included cake, milk, preserves, fruit juice and tea and coffee. It would have good to have a chest of drawers in the bedroom. The owners were very helpful and we will go back again.

Family holiday

My wife and I stayed in the stables, which suited us, our family stayed in the farmhouse and we all had breakfast and evening meals together in the farmhouse. It was a wonderful family holiday..Sarah and Aaron are wonderful hosts and Suffolk is great, we love it in East Anglia.

A very special place

The Stables was just glorious! Stunning accommodation and lovely friendly hosts. Everything totally immaculate and so thoughtfully presented. It was like home from home - even better! Gorgeous super comfortable bed, lovely big shower, relaxing elegant living area, very well equipped kitchen.....and all in the most tranquil and beautiful of settings, looking out over the fields and lovely skies of Suffolk. I had an absolutely wonderful stay, so recuperative, and can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay

Aaron and Sarah have done a great job of converting farm buildings into lovely places to stay in a beautiful location and close to lots of the best places to see in Suffolk. Very clean and comfortable with lots of facilities available. We would happily stay here again.
