This property is ideal for couples visiting the Broads National Park and is a great base for walkers and cyclists.

It has 1 double bedroom with an option for a fold out double bed in the lounge for children.

The bathroom is newly fitted and equipped with a walk in shower.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

The open plan kitchen/lounge has a sofa and TV area.

The flat has a private terrace overlooking the garden.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

An iron and ironing board are available from the house on request to borrow.

Secure off road parking.

No pets, smoking or additional guests.

Damages will be taken from the security deposit.

Check in after 2pm.
Check out no later than 10am on departure date.
Unless otherwise agreed.

The flat is within walking distance of a small shop, pub and children's park.

Freethorpe is only 5 minutes from the market village of Acle where there are lots of amenities including 3 small supermarkets, petrol station, library, doctors, pub, butchers and takeaway pizza, Chinese, Indian, and Fish and Chip shops. The village of Reedham which is situated on the broads is an even shorter drive away and has 3 pubs, Fish & Chips takeaway and village shop.

Excellent clean and well equipped

We enjoyed our 4 night stay so very much!! The most lovely, cosy self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was perfect home from home, very clean with everything we needed and more. Anna has thought of everything you may need for a pleasant stay, plenty of utensils games, DVD's leaflets on what's around the area. Our sleep was excellent the bed was very comfortable and a great shower to. The plus is the balcony which we found to be very relaxing and a great place to have your coffee in the mornings which overlooked the gardens and fields. Freethorpe is a lovely part of Norfolk a perfect base for exploring the area from countryside, broads and Norfolk seaside. Overall we couldn't fault the accommodation, the host or the area a great place to stay. We will both be booking Anna home again. A big Thank you from us both........

Lovely location in a tranquil setting.

Lovely loft conversion with everything you need for a self catering stay, and a store only a few minutes walk away. Also only a short drive to Acle which has good bus and train connections to the rest of Norfolk. Will definitely return in spring/ summer to take advantage of the surrounding countryside walks.

Family visit

Lovely flat in a lovely location. Clean, comfortable and quiet. It was everything that we wanted and more. Will definitely be staying again as it’s only 5 minutes drive from family

Perfect stay

We have a lovely 3 night stay here, Anna was only next door if we needed her but we were fine on our own. The flat has everything you need for a short break and the balcony was nice to sit out on whilst having our breakfast. Would definitely return another time

Ideal Staycation

This flat is ideally situated with easy access to Norwich, Great Yarmouth and the Broads The flat is clean and well stocked with everyday items in the kitchen and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would certainly recommend the property

Quiet flat in the Broads

We very much enjoyed the flat which was clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely to be able to eat out on the balcony overlooking the garden, and great view of countryside from the bedroom. Very convenient location for exploring the Broads.

Great little flat with everything you could need.

My partner and I wanted a little base from which we could explore Norfolk from and this was perfect. Great location to access Norwich and Wroxham from and the flat was perfect for 2.

Absolute gem of a flat, lovely views, accessible to all the things we wanted to do in the area☺️

We booked this property last minute but were so thrilled we found it available. It was immaculately clean. Easy to reach all local attractions including Strumshaw RSPB, Horsey seals, Norwich, The Bridge Inn at Acle and the Tamarind Indian Restaurant at Blofield, all of which we can recommend. We have marked this property as a must to return to 😉

Great Location , clean & excellent quiet retreat.

I would have preferred to be met by host however Anna is very available with any issues and probs you might encounter. The property is lovely and clean but needs a little revamp in places I feel like the magnificent patio area outside. The pressure on the water could be better as it takes a while to wash up or take a bath. This property is a lovely location & a perfect retreat to get away from the hustle and bussle of city life. Highly recommended to all. Thanks Anna we had a lovely stay. All the best.

Country hide-away

Visiting family in the area, so good to be not too far from train station for both coast & city. The apartment has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. My only suggestion would be an overhead light over the bathroom mirror, and to save a queue for the bathroom a mirror in the bedroom also.

Tranquillity in beautiful surroundings

We loved staying at this beautiful apartment which was very peaceful and had lovely views. It has lovely modern facilities but also a nice cosy feeling. The balcony is great, everything you need is provided and the location is perfect with good access to eveything. Thanks Anna we hope to come back and stay soon! David and Karen

Very comfortable, nice and warm with little Christmas touches. Much appreciated.

Walking distance from Halvergate Marsh and close to Strumshaw Fen RSPB, pub and shop in village. A few niggles: lighting in seating area poor, not good enough for reading; kitchen equipment good quality but would have been nice to have mixing bowls and spatulas/ stirring spoons plus a corkscrew that worked; bathroom, useful to have a bin also soap. There were dishwasher tablets, washing liquid for machine and washing up liquid and nice crockery and pans. The apartment was roomy and private and parking was easy. We had a lovely Christmas break here.

Quite Place to Relax

We booked this apartment as a mini break, our first trip away without our toddler and it was just the ticket. Its in a lovely rural location with great views out on the owners garden and fields. The apartment was clean and tidy and easy to find. Having seen some of the recent reviews just prior to our arrival, we were a bit nervous, however that nervousness was unfounded and we enjoyed our stay. Contrary to what others have said, this is self catering accommodation and should be treated as such. The apartment is in a great location with lots of things to do within short driving distances and a few nice local pubs within walking distance. Thanks for a great relaxing break!

Don’t expect a warm welcome as it was all Anna could do to remind me where the key was

Overall property was in a good area to some sightseeing location and apartment was clean. However it lacked the basics on a welcome pack or at least some milk to make a cup of tea. No tea or coffee provided or any other basic store items such as salt and pepper etc. No loo brush or waste bin in bathroom. No information pack supplied to know where to dine or inform about the area but lots of brochures provided. No book to write comments in for other guests to read so as to make suggestions for eating out etc. Zero effort made by owner to feel welcome. Freezer was full of ice and ice compartment door broken. Property did not feel loved or homely. No sieve or colander to drain food items and items provided very basic. Would not return or recommend. We are now staying in a property where we have received a totally different experience and what a difference in hosts!!

Good location, generous rooms and clean but very poorly equipped and lacking in welcome and comfort

Our first impression of the Garden Loft was that is in a good location, it is a generous space with a good layout and clean. Unfortunately our initial good impression soon went downhill as we discovered so many essential items that were missing, which made for disappointing accommodation for what was otherwise a lovely few days exploring The Broads.

Very comfortable, well equipped and quiet - which was great for us.

We enjoyed our visit which was in a good location for our short break. After weeks of caring for grandchildren it was great to have a quiet place to stay and be refreshed. The flat was well equipped and comfortable with a lovely outlook.

So relaxing!

We had such an enjoyable and relaxing stay, with the bonus of some lovely September weather. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we had all we needed for our stay. Sitting outside on the terrace in the sunshine added to our relaxing break. We can certainly recommend it to others.

Great place as a base to explore the beautiful region!

The apartment is comfy and practical, with a very nice little balcony - a lovely additional fixture. Anna was really welcoming and helpful. We would definitely rent it again if we are back in the area.
