Vores hjem er beliggende i et lille samfund kaldet Canon del Sol. Der er 98 enheder, og vores er en luksus ende enhed (ofte fremhævet som de bedste enheder i komplekset af vores naboer). Komplekset har privat tennis, pool, og spa-faciliteter er tilgængelige for et billede Key. Timer er fra 09:00 til 10:00.

Der er en 3 eller 4 nat minimum i højsæsonen maj-oktober De fleste ugentlige huslejer begynder og slutter om fredagen. Andre muligheder vil blive overvejet, hvis de datoer er åbne.

The home was very nice and roomy. It had a fully stocked kitchen with lots of space to cook with family. The deck space outside was used every day and so was the access to the pool and hot tub. The VRBO pictures of the home did it little justice, it was much nicer in person. The cleaning inside the home left some room for improvement.

Great location & well appointed home

It’s so great when owners understand they are in the hospitality business and they truly treat their renters as guests! The home was in a great location for my family, was appointed well and was so easy to enjoy.

Awesome Accommodations

Stayed with young grandkids (1, 4 & 6) and their parents. Gave them the master suite to sleep with the baby (used a portable crib provided by the property in the huge master closet) and because the guest bedroom was very spacious and had a king size bed. We lived on the outside deck with the barbecue, dining table and fire pit set. We used the pool a few times and had it all to ourselves each time. The hike to the beach on the road was relatively short and easy. We brought along a wagon and took it down the beach stairs. I would have locked it up on top of the stairs but did not have a cable and lock. Kitchen has all the things you need for cooking. A huge refrigerator that took all our food for a 5 day stay and had room to spare. The openness of the inside and deck space made it easier for the grandkids to play with their toys we brought along. The downstairs stayed much cooler than the upstairs which made it easy to sleep.

Great family celebration

Celebrated my 80th birthday with family and friends. The place was great. Went whale watching, a success. The weather here was a relief from Florida’s.

Great stay

We had a great stay here, the property is exceptionally well equipped especially the kitchen which we really appreciated. The deck area and furniture was also amazing. The location is a short walk to the beach, 5-10mins which is a bit steep on the way back. The pool, spa and tennis courts were also great quality facilities only 2mins from the door. Need to drive to any shop or store. Very quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful beach house, nicely furnished, great amenities

We had a mini family reunion here and everyone was pleased with our stay. Nice open floor plan on the top floor, big deck with lots of seating and grill, beautiful ocean view. Not a generic beach house, lots of style and character in the furnishings. Downstairs the rooms are spacious. Very quiet neighborhood. Shared amenities are a big plus- nice pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. Short walk to the Manresa campground (we had family camping there), and short (but steep!) walk down to the beach. Bob (owner) was great, responsive and helpful but not at all obtrusive. Highly recommend!

FAMILY STAY

This property worked out well for our family of 6 adults and two children. Large 1st floor open living space., A nice kitchen with all we needed and big dining room table. All bedrooms on lower level, beds were comfortable. Very nice deck with plenty of patio chairs and big table.Place was clean and professional cleaning crew arrived just as we were leaving. Communication with Bob was prompt . We would stay here again

Wanted to Love It

The location of the property is great. Unfortunately, the property is not being maintained. Both large mattress were very lumpy. The kids were getting bitten in their beds so we had to launder all the bedding. The chairs around the outside dining table were very rusted and 2 of them broke while being sat in. While we didn't let these things deter us from a great vacation, I cannot recommend staying here.

Great beach vacation

House at wonderful location near the beach and ocean. Clean house with excellent amenities. State Park within walking distance. Fun for kids and adults. Close to Monterey and Santa Cruz.

Great stay

Overall, our stay was excellent. Bob was extremely responsive and helpful addressing any of our questions or needs. House is spacious and the deck is great for relaxing. Weather was perfect for most of our stay. The beach is a short 10 minute walk but on a hill. Our family with young kids didn’t have any issues.

Great week

The house was great---the beds were comfortable; the kitchen had all the appliances, dishes, cookware needed to prepare food for the family; supplies such as seasonings, tin foil, etc. were there for our use; the living room was large enough for all 8 of us, including a couple of gangly teenage boys; and plenty of linens to take care of our needs. The deck was great---lots of seating around the firepit, a heater to keep us warm, and a lovely view of the ocean. We were on the deck most evenings. The walk to the beach was a little longer than expected, but it wasn't a problem. The beach is beautiful---we spent a couple of days building sand castles, taking walks, reading, and relaxing. The locations allowed us to visit the Boardwalk, do some shopping, and take a sail boat ride on the bay. Mr. Carpenter was great and accommodated our request to arrive a earlier. He was responsive to our texts and was helpful. As a family we have stayed at a number of beach houses. I think this was our best experience and hope to come back in the future. Our youngest grandson didn't want to leave. Thank you so much!!

Love this house!

Beautiful home with great ocean views. Very clean with lots of extras. Was there for work but would love to stay for a vacation! Has all you need and more!

Property worked perfect for our family and our annual trek to Santa Cruz

The property was exactly as stated in the ad very nice, clean, everything needed for our stay was provided, 10 minute walk to the beach the beautiful beach and the view was beautiful very enjoyable stay

Perfect Beach Getaway

Staying in LaSelva beach for the week of spring break. Perfect location for beach days. Trips to Santa Cruz and Monterey were an easy drive. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Very comfortable house just a short walk from the beach.

The house was very comfortable, well stocked, and Bob was always available with any questions we had. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, comfortable bedding and furniture. We weren't lacking for anything during our visit. We would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing stay with Ocean View

Our family enjoyed our summer stay. There’s beautiful deck to enjoy the coastal breeze and ocean view. It’s a short walk to an uncrowded beach. The home has all amenities and feels spacious. Found in a quiet beach community that’s best for a relaxed stay.

Great ocean view

This home was lovely! It was immaculate, check-in and communication with Bob was easy and location was beautiful. This home has a great deck large enough to accommodate my family of eight easily, and the ocean view was beautiful and very relaxing. I would highly recommend this property!

The house fulfilled our expectations. All good

The owner met us at the property and ran through all the important things plus useful info relating to the local area. The house was on a very quiet estate amongst other well-kept houses. The locals we saw were pleasant. Short walk to the beach. All rooms clean and tidy. Kitchen fully equipped except for kettle. BBQ did the job. All in all the house was good. One thing no bars or resturants were within a short walk... but thats normal in US ... you drive...

Our family purchase this home in 2014 and decided to share it with friends. We are residents in nearby Los Altos, and try to use our home as often as possible.

We have always loved Santa Cruz county and spent time looking for the right spot. La Selva has the perfect balance of proximity, and seclusion. From the nearby beach access you can walk 7 miles to the Parajo River, or the opposite direction toward Santa Cruz and get to New Brighton Beach.
