ESPECTACULAR CASA FRENTE AL MAR EN LA BAHÍA DE MONTEREY

California es conocida por algunas de las playas más hermosas del mundo y Pajaro Dunes no es una excepción. Ubicada frente al mar, esta casa de más de 3,000 pies cuadrados tiene una de las vistas más espectaculares a lo largo de la costa y está situada en uno de los tramos más privados de la playa en la Bahía de Monterey. El complejo en sí está ubicado en un entorno costero único y un santuario. Al igual que nosotros, quedará cautivado por las vistas diarias de aves, delfines, ballenas, nutrias marinas y otros animales salvajes, y se dejará sin aliento por los increíbles atardeceres nocturnos.

La casa que fue construida originalmente por la senadora Diane Feinstein es bien conocida en la comunidad. Fue remodelada recientemente y cuenta con techos altos, ventanas de piso a techo con mucha luz y un plano de planta abierto. Única en el resort, la casa tiene una espaciosa terraza delantera con vista al océano con un patio privado adicional en la parte posterior de la casa que tiene un área de comedor y descanso. Desde el callejón sin salida, la casa tiene un camino privado con estacionamiento para hasta 3 autos. Una escalera justo enfrente de la casa proporciona acceso directo a la playa.

El complejo es una comunidad cerrada ubicada centralmente, a 20 millas de la pintoresca Villa Capitola junto al mar, Santa Cruz y 25 millas al norte de Monterey / Carmel. Disfrute del paseo marítimo de la playa de Santa Cruz, los increíbles restaurantes, las secuoyas de Santa Cruz Mountain, el avistamiento de ballenas de la Bahía de Monterey y el acuario, las bodegas de la costa central y el famoso golf.

We had a fabulous stay at this home! We were specifically looking for a beachfront property with three king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and this house delivered perfectly. The remodel is beautiful, with large windows, a stunning waterfall island, and spacious living areas that made it easy for all of us to relax and enjoy.It was the perfect setup for me, my husband, my adult sister, and our parents for a long weekend. The neighborhood is gorgeous, the house had everything we needed, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely stay again!

Family Beach Vacation

This property couldn't have been more perfect for our large group of 12. Everyone had plenty of space and the view was spectacular. Lots of seabirds and we even saw an otter out in the surf. The house was fully stocked with everything you might need for a fun vacation with kids and adults in mind. We even discovered pickleball! Who knew it would be so fun?? Carl was responsive and made our stay run smoothly. All around a top-notch experience.

A great escape

This property is incredible, and we had a great time. Check-in was a breeze; the house is well-stocked, the Wi-Fi worked great, and there were plenty of extras for travelers who want to enjoy the beach but didn't bring all the necessary items, such as sand buckets, kites, and chairs. We saw whales and sea otters every day, and the host recommended some restaurants that we enjoyed. Our kids enjoyed the beach, table tennis in the garage, and a visit to a local farm where they picked strawberries. We would stay here again and hope to be back next Summer.

Beautiful Home with Breathtaking Views

Incredibly property for our family reunion of seven young adults and parents. Remodel is beautifully done! Common area is exceptional for gathering, cooking, eating, playing games, watching movies, dance parties and simply enjoying the spectacular ocean views. Property manager is very responsive. We hope to be back!

Dishwasher needs help. Dirty dishes dirty in inside shelfs upon arrival. We never had clean dishes.

We love the house & setting. Perfect scene everywhere. Needs more space in downstairs Bed Rm. we had 4 young adult ( 21, 19, 18,17 ) all big boys. Crowded!!! It is a nice home & Carl went above & beyond! for us. The TV needs ti be simplified w/ instruction.

Moms 80th birthday

We celebrated our moms birthday at the beach. Location and views were fabulous. House is very spacious with comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Had a fabulous time.

4th of July stay

The house is in a great location between Santa Cruz and Monterey with exceptional ocean views. Great communication with everything that the house has to offer. We got to check in a little bit early, thank you Carl. Other than the couch is a bit uncomfortable, everything the house has is perfect along with an extra fridge in the garage for our large group. We did bring air mattresses to accommodate the extra sleeping arrangements. Thank you again!

Relaxing Getaway

My entire family had such an amazing stay. The property is exactly as described and pictures do not do the view justice. There is not direct beach access from the back of the property. However, that is not an issue as the entire neighborhood is beautiful and it is just a short 3 minute walk to the sand/beach. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the living room and amazing breakfast views from the dining room table. Kitchen also had everything we needed for cooking, and even baking, during our stay. Beautiful home and location. And would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Beach House

Spent the weekend to celebrate our kids birthday and we could not have asked for a better location! Teenagers were busy from all day, Hanging at the beach, playing tennis, basketball, volleyball, all right on site! Then at night so much space in the house, they played games until the wee hours of the morning without my Husband and I even being bothered because the house is so BIG! Carl was an incredible host, communicated beautifully for check in and out. Couple questions while we were there and he responded immediately! We will absolutely be Back😊

Amazing view and comfy beds!

Such a beautiful home. The views from the patio are stunning. Sitting out in the chairs and watching the waves was our family's favorite past time. The beds are amazingly comfy. The property management responded to our inquiries quickly and were very friendly. The inner courtyard was serene and a great place to relax.

Perfect long weekend

My title comes with a small bias as the time spent at House 48 was my wedding weekend. So, me, my (now) husband, and 6 of our friends stayed at this property for 4 days/3 nights. This house is HUGE with the most epic view through the full wall windows along the back of the house. There was plenty of space for us all - never feeling like you were on top of each other and many spaces to find some seclusion, if needed. The house was clean and well equipped. One small disappointment was that the house does not have direct access to the beach - right outside the back is a large wall of rocks that are dangerous to climb, obviously, so you instead have to utilize the stairs available a short (3-4 minute) walk down the road. Communication with the property manager was pleasant and easy. We never had any issues. Of note, we couldn't find any trash or recycling bins near the house so we had to haul any & all garbage to the center near the front gate. No big deal with a truck. Thanks for the stay! We'd love to come again in the future!

awesome location right on the water. A real gem we won’t soon forget. The host was great and quick to respond with easy check in and out. The cleanliness was t as high as expected. Floors were dirty and furnishings a little old. Would stay again.

Absolutely perfect seaside retreat

Our family stayed here to celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. There were 6 of us, including 1 person with a walker, and an 11-year-old. The home was absolutely perfect for all of us. The setting and view is positively otherworldly. A panoramic view of the ocean greets you as you walk in, and you can hear the waves crashing from all of the 4 bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we cooked heavily and ate all our meals in the home. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, cooking utensils, serving bowls, and almost every conceivable type of drinking glass and dish imaginable. The pantry had lots of spices, along with sugar and cooking spray. The home was very clean, and furnished with all kinds of extras to really enhance your comfort: Cushions for all the outdoor loungers, blankets for sitting outside, an enormous working fireplace, TVs, a game cabinet, magazines, and helpful notes throughout the house. We played ping pong and foosball in the garage with out kiddo every day. There was also every manner of beach gear imaginable - chairs, beach toys, a wagon to carry it all across the sand, wet suits, boogie boards, I think I even saw surf boards. They really did think of everything. Carl, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, and provided very good tips and guidelines prior to check-in. He also checked in on us via text, even though he was out of the country, and was available via text throughout our stay. We had the good fortune to see a pod of dolphins swimming in front of the house, and a playful sea otter right off the beach. Accessing the beach was very easy and convenient via the stairway at the end of the driveway. We are already planning our next stay here. It is absolutely perfect — peaceful, beautiful, indulgent, relaxing. Everything a seaside getaway should be. This special place has cast its spell on us.

Great family stay

We had a great time! The house had a perfect view of sunsets and birds and beach. The kitchen was well stocked to cook every meal and it was great to have a dishwasher. Kids enjoyed foozeball and ping pong in the garage. Being a belt to park in drive way made loading and unloading easy. It wasn’t warm enough for swimming but wr enjoyed digging in the sand for crabs and clams.

Beach house

We could not have asked for a better location of the home. Everyone in the family had a great time and are raving about the home. Sunset, moon rise and set over the ocean was ideal from the home. I grew up in Ireland and moved to the US more than 20 years ago. I settled in Silicon Valley and have been living here ever since. And no surprise, my husband and I work in high tech but love to come to the beach whenever we can get away.

I discovered Pajaro Dunes shortly after I moved to the US. I fell in love with it immediately and have been coming here ever since. I have travelled the world but there is no other place I would rather be.. Pajaro Dunes reminds me of Ireland. It's a hidden gem nestled between the miles of strawberry fields and the Pacific Ocean. The resort lies next to a nature sanitary audit's not uncommon to see bird watchers scouting for a sighting of the many species of birds. Coming here on a Friday evening after work is like stepping into another world. Look up and down the beach from our patio and you will likely see a string of couples with wine and beer watching the magical sunset.

The location is unique. There is nowhere else you will such beauty and tranquility, yet the buzz, bars and restaurants of Capitola are only 15 - 20 minutes away. Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay whale watching and the Aquarium, central coast wineries and world famous golf are a short drive away
