Nuestra casa de playa del lago Michigan se encuentra en el clásico de la ciudad costera de los Grandes Lagos de South Haven, Michigan. La zona de South Haven es admirado a nivel nacional por es playas de arena de azúcar vírgenes; campos de golf de clase mundial; varios viñedos y cervecerías locales; excelentes restaurantes; la pesca de gran lago; navegación ilimitada y la vela (resbalones marina transitoria disponible); senderismo y ciclismo preparado; hermosos parques; distritos de compras encantadores; y otros cercanos pintorescos pueblos turísticos.

Nuestra casa es de aproximadamente 50 yardas de la playa bluff - entonces hay aproximadamente 26 escalones a la playa privada. La casa tiene una gran terraza al aire libre adjunto, así como una terraza cubierta con vistas al lago. Además, hay 2 terrazas privadas con vistas a la playa.

The view of the lake was amazing! The neigbors were friendly and helpful.The beach was gorgeous and flat which made for great morning walks. The Sunsets were phenomenol. We never missed a sunset. We loved the outdoor porch. Everything was clean. We would like to come back again.

Lovely home in a great location. Everything was clean. The main reason for 3 stars for our stay was the fact that there was a wedding over the weekend we were there. The giant tent setup and festivities blocked the view of the lake and took away from sitting on the back patio and enjoying the lake view. While it wasn't overly loud the noise at night was noticeable.

Great location!

Had a great time! it’s great to be able to stay on the lake! Great views for the sunsets!! Neighbors are all very welcoming. This was our second year to stay at this house! Highly recommend this rental!!!House is very accommodating for families!

We loved the location! Great access to the beach and the town of South Haven. The hosts were generous and the home was perfect for two couples. While we enjoyed the space of the house, the home could use some maintenance. Our only disappointment was that we assumed that the home was directly on the beach, based on the pictures. There is a small parking lot and four houses on the right and left before access to the beach. However, you can still see the lake from the house.

S Haven Beach House

Lovely home with beautiful views of Lake Michigan and accessible beach. Great trip w family and conveniently located for son (Chicago) and grandson (Milwaukee). Ten home community of wonderful friendly folks w shared beach. Weather was perfect, sailed the 1800’s replica tall merchant ship, enjoyed Mama’s TJM BBQ!!! Highly recommend!!!

First Time South Haven Vacation

We were thrilled to land a home that not only was walkable to the beach, it had a stretch of private beach! Everything was amazing--from the weather, beach, downtown, dining. The home was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The neighbors (the home is part of an 11-home association) were all friendly and helpful.

Lovely vacation

The property location with easy access to the private beach was amazing. Jack is a wonderfully attentive host and all our young family needs were more than met. We had the best Lake Michigan summer vacation yet. The north side beaches are more chill so if that’s what you’re looking for, this place is hard to beat!

Unbeatable view

Had a wonderful time here. Plenty of room for four old ladies, a gorgeous view of the lake, quiet beach, and ample nearby shopping and restaurants. If you like to walk, downtown is just a tad over a mile away. Host and neighbors were friendly. Very nice area.

Wonderful Home

This home is even better than the pictures. It is very clean and has had updated floors, paint and furniture. The view was beautiful!! The host was very communicative and provided entry instructions well in advance. I highly recommend this rental!!

Wish we could stay longer

This was our third visit to the property and it just gets better each time! All new flooring looks great and is easy to keep clean. The owner/host is just the best at communicating and making it easy to enjoy the property. My favorite view of Lake Michigan is from the huge deck here. Can’t wait to return.

Family Beach Trip

Our family (2 young children, my husband and I, and my Mother-in-Law) had an amazing week in this home. It was the perfect place for us and the neighbors are incredible. Access to the beach is super easy and even though it is a private beach you are not alone which is great. We had everything we needed and Jack was so easy to communicate with. We didn't need anything during our stay but I knew he was just a text away if we did. Traveling with kids is not always the easiest but being here felt like a home away from home. We hope we can come back next year but if not we will defintely try to come back as soon as we can get it booked. Whatever kind of trip you need this is a place to rest, relax and enjoy beautiful South Haven. Seriously, I can't rave about how much we loved it enough!

Unforgettable Vacation

The house was quite comfortable for our family of 7. There is one master bedroom on the first floor which worked well for people not able to climb many stairs. The amount of bathrooms (2 full, 1 half) was really helpful. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were appreciated. Having additional beach chairs available was a godsend. Great location to downtown. Beautiful views for watching the sunset! Upstairs shower was difficult to find a comfortable temperature. Air conditioning is vastly different from first floor to second floor. Those on the first floor were freezing while those in the upstairs were hot and sweaty. No water filter for kitchen faucet. Curtains were pretty but do not block the sun during the day or the streetlamp at night. We had to problems during out stay and would love to come back. Something to keep in mind is that the house is a short distance to the stairs that lead to the beach, that being said the stairs are quite a workout. While we didn't take much equipment to the beach, it was still a lot to carry back and fourth each day. On a personal note, 26 stairs in 100 degree heat was rough and if a body is not up to it then try the public beach a short distance away. North beach has a concession stand and a pathway that goes partway down the beach making it much more manageable to reach the waves. Most of my group could manage on the stairs but for the ones who could not, were unable to enjoy the private beach aspect much.
