Beautifully renovated and fully furnished with large covered porch overlooking running creek. Tucked away on five acres with awesome blue ridge mountain views, this private cabin is perfect for couples, honeymooners and folks looking to get away.

After a day of exploring, kick your shoes off and lie down on an incredibly comfortable queen size bed with luxury linens and a wood burning fireplace to set a romantic mood. The kitchen is fully stocked, and even has spices and oil to cook up a great meal. The living area has plenty of seating and a large, flat screen TV with Cable in place and free FAST Wifi. Your cabin comes with a huge front porch overlooking a stream and Mini Waterfall! Between the relaxing sounds of the flowing creek and calming of ambient noise of nature, rest and relaxation here we come...

Although you are tucked on the side of a mountain with plenty of privacy, you are minutes from a grocery store and all the amenities the area has to offer. We are also pet friendly and have plenty of areas of explore on the property to walk your furry friend.

The Town of Waynesville is a great place to visit in any season. Whether one is looking to explore the mountains during their beautiful summers, gaze at the natural splendor of fall leaf changes, or view snow covered mountains during the winter, the town offers such vacationing for any preference. With their proximity to the natural wonders of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as the famous Blue Ridge Parkway, town is truly a place of recreational opportunity. Perhaps one of the town’s greatest assets is its unique and lively Main Street, featured here on this webcam. Beautiful cabin!

My husband and I stayed at this cabin starting Monday Sept 23rd 2024. We loved the location, the cabin and the babbling brook off the coveted patio! But unfortunately we had to leave 2 days early due to hurricane Helene. We got out just in time. But while we were there we loved every minute! And MJ was a dream to work with!

Our stay in the Garage

Me, my wife and our dog had wonderful and comfortable stay here. With literally everything from laundry to a dishwasher, this place has all the amenities one could want. It was clean and the property was well maintained. Good communication with MJ and privacy to boot! We would love to.come back!

Cozy Mountain Creek Cabin a great place to get away

This was our second stay this summer. We love this little cabin. It is so clean, well stocked, and so relaxing to set on the porch and listen to the little creek and have your worries melt away! Host is always super responsive to any questions or needs. We hope to be visiting many more times in the future.

Will be back again

Great place to stay, plenty of room for 2, very well maintained. Great location - out of town but close to Waynesville (10 min ), a small town with great little shops on main street. 35 min. from Maggie Valley 45 min. to casino and shopping at Cherokee. so relaxing to sit on porch and listen to the brook . My wife and I are already planning our next stay, just a matter of when at this point.

A Perfect Mountain Getaway!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was very clean, well stocked with everything, and the host is very friendly and responsive to all our questions. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the little creek. So relaxing! We definitely hope to visit again!

Beautiful cozy cabin with amazing views

This is gorgeous property with amazing mountain views. The cabin overlooks a mountain creek that was so relaxing to look at and listen to. We loved the cabin and it was very clean and comfortable too. I only wish it had a king size bed. However I highly recommend this cabin.

Heaven

I find myself struggling to find words to adequately describe our stay. The location of the cabin was perfect. The cabin was clean and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the porch and the sound of the stream in the backyard. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. Our fur babies ran around with big smiles on their faces. They had loads of fun being able to run and play without leashes, which made us extremely happy. We didn’t want to leave! We highly recommend a stay in this little slice of Heaven on Earth!!

Perfect getaway

We have stayed in the area for quite a few years. This was by far the cleanest, nicely stocked cabin as yet. The owners were attentive and helpful. The privacy yet nearness to town was perfect. We will come back.

Relaxing

The location was great and cabin was very comfortable. The creek kept the back porch cool in the evenings and the sound of the water was very calming. We would stay here again when in the area.

Great little base camp

Had a great week of escape for some "me time" in this wonderful spot. The cabin is cute, clean and convenient and in a great location that feels private but is only a few minutes to Waynesville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is also a great base for day trips to other mountain towns or areas you might want to visit or explore. It is equipped with just about anything you could ever need and possibly the best shower ever! I do agree that the living area seating could use some improvement as the sofa has no support and no leg rests. Also, the driveway/parking spot is surprisingly steep and I have a knee injury that made it a bit treacherous. By no means a deal breaker, just a note of caution to be prepared if you have any mobility issues. Overall it is a great rental that I would be happy to stay in indefinitely.

Beautiful outdoor view, great amenities

It always takes time to learn of one’s surroundings when visiting a new area. This cabin, while very close to Waynesville still gave the impression of being out in the country. We were able to get to town in a matter of minutes to shop and dine. We were close to Gatlinburg and Cherokee for a day trip. We journeyed into Pisgah for hikes, and got some great photos at lakes Junaluska and Logan. And we got to come home to a cozy cabin with all of the necessary amenities. There is nothing better than a great shower after all is said and done. This cabin has an excellent shower. The owners, Steve and MJ are excellent hosts. Merciful after a mishap early in our stay, kind, and helpful.

Great place for long stays

Place has everything one needs and we were there 2.5 months. Great place for your pet to run around. Beautiful stream and view. And no mosquitoes (although I was ready).

Great experience!

Thank you Mary & Steve. The “barn” was the perfect place for us. Cute little place with well stocked kitchen and supplies. Appreciate the water for our arrival. Plus, we give the bed comfort an A+. We would of stayed longer but another renter was coming in. Hugs 🤗♥️

Everything I’d Hoped For

My stay was great. The location couldn’t have been better and the cabin by the creek was more than I expected! It was one of my most relaxing vacations to date. Our vacation was good.

The surroundings were beautiful. The "driveway" was extremely difficult to walk up for daily exercise. The inside was very clean and the amenities were nice. It would've been more comfortable for us with a king size bed and a bedroom in a separate room. The internet was great and the TV carrier was great. The couch and chair were very nice, but not very comfortable to sit in. There was no way to elevate your legs. We loved the covered porch and creek. It was so relaxing to sit out there and listen to the water! Thank you for sharing.

We have been happily married for 35 years. Steve's background is construction and carpentry. MJ has been an owner/operator of preschools for over 30 years. We have been remodeling homes almost all of our married life. We have the vision of making a disaster into a beautiful home. We bought this property in 2006. The main house was a shell and after 16 trips from Florida, the house is so warm and beautiful. The cabin was a 3 car garage that we started converting in Spring 2014. It will be finished in July 2016. Everything is new in kitchen, stainless steel appliances with dishwasher and above stove microwave, bathroom with tub and shower, queen bedroom and living room furniture, washer/dryer, HVAC and patio furniture. It is a wonderful place for 2 people to get away from it all and just relax!!!
