Perfect place to spend a holiday

The place absolutely meets the promises made on the platform. It is located in an authentic and calm area of the city. The house is perfectly equipped, the kitchen brand-new, the garden is just beautiful and as well nice for kids to play. Last but not least the landlord is caring and easy to get a hold of. I absolutely recommend the place!

Hideaway close to tourist attraction

We were warmly welcomed by Edouard who showed us around his beautiful house. The house has a spacious ground floor, kitchen equipped with everything we needed for cooking, a cosy living room and the master bedroom. It remained very cool there even on hot summer days. Bedrooms upstairs were fine too. We enjoyed returning to the beautiful and quiet garden to relax after our trips. Perfect stay!

A place to be...

...and to enjoy. To discover. To live. In one word: perfect! Ker West is brilliant for travelling all over Morbihan, but also to marvel the megalithic sites right in front of the door. And the house is such a lovely place with all accomodations one can wish. For families with kids: a paradise - not at least because of the huge garden.

The accommodation was really excellent and we loved the location. The communications with the concierge were via phone. There was some confusion as the previous occupier had mistakenly removed the bed cover. This did not of itself matter, but on the question of bedding we had paid for linen and, admittedly from experience in England and Scotland, we would have expected the bed to be made up and a duvet cover to be provided, but appreciate that this is presumably not the practice elsewhere. In any event we located a duvet cover.

Traumhafte Lage und toller Garten

Sehr schönes Haus direkt neben den Megalithen von Carnac mit viel Ruhe und wundervollem Garten, nicht weit vom Ort mit allem, was man braucht, und auch die Strände von Carnac sind eine Reise wert. Einziges Manko: Sauberkeit mit Luft nach oben und kein TV

Bel environnement mais quelques déceptions

Cotés positifs : un beau jardin, fleuri et bien entretenu , environnement très calme Cotés négatifs : la propreté du logement à notre arrivée laissait franchement à désirer, à commencer par des éviers bouchés dans la cuisine et dans la salle de bain. Le logement est assez vétuste: la machine à laver a rendu l’âme pendant notre séjour. Il n’y a pas de télé , ce que nous avons bien regretté car nous y étions pendants les JO

Coup de cœur !

Il ne manque rien dans cette jolie maison bretonne en granit. La communication avec le proprietaire est simple et rapide. L'endroit est calme, mais proche de tout, un havre de tranquillité, pas de vis-à-vis. Le jardin fleuri est une joie de tous les jours. Le granit nous a permis de bien dormir. J'aimerais y retourner !facilite le sommeil et la literie est impeccable.

Sehr schöne Urlaubswoche!

Sehr schön und entspannt. Tolles Urlaubsgebiet. Bad/ Dusche im Obergeschoss extrem klein und Fenster konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Schloß an der Eingangstüre hat immer wieder gehackt. Sehr diffizile zu öffnen und schließen. Sonst sehr gute Unterkunft.

Wir haben die Woche in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet, hat Charme, sehr gemütliche Betten und einen schönen Garten. Der Blick in den Garten ist traumhaft! Der Ort Le Menec ist ursprünglich bretonisch und nur wenige hundert Meter von Carnac entfernt. Das Haus kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

October holiday

What a find this longere turned out to be. Beautiful house, well maintained, very comfortable, a well equipped kitchen and everything there you could need. There is a good sized garden and patio with table and chairs and a sun umbrella . Only a 5 minute walk away from the Pre History Museum and the Menec standing stones. The house is very quiet with little passing traffic and only a handful of houses around. The contact with the owners, Edouard and Patricia, was excellent, emails were answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both, D and D.

Schönes Steinhaus in sehr guter Lage

Das Haus hat eine gute Lage in direkter Nähe zu den Menhiren. Einkaufseinrichtungen und Gaststätten in etwa 1 km Entfernung. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Das zweite Bad im OG ist allerdings sehr klein. Der Vermieter kommuniziert sehr gut und versorgt die Gäste mit allen notwendigen Informationen.

Wunderbarer, erholsamer Aufenthalt in Carnac!

Das hübsche bretonische Ferienhaus ist sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super ausgestattet. Parkplatz vor dem Haus, unsere Fahrräder konnten wir in einem Schuppen im Garten geschützt abstellen. Der hübsche Garten geht nach Westen und es lässt sich perfekt die Abendsonne geniessen. Die Menhire sind zu Fuß zu erreichen, die restliche Umgebung lässt sich sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad erkunden. Edouard Filhou ist ein sehr angenehmer, gewissenhafter und immer erreichbarer Vermieter!

Wunderbarer Urlaub in Carnac

Wir haben als sechsköpfige Familie zwei sehr schöne und erholsame Wochen in dem schönen Haus von Herrn Filho verbracht. Das Haus ist geräumig und schön eingerichtet, die Küche mit neuen Geräten ausgestattet. Der Garten ist ein Traum! Man findet dort - je nach Gusto - sonnige oder schattige Plätze, kann draußen auf der Terrasse essen und abends erst den Sonnenuntergang und dann den Sternenhimmel bewundern, ebenso die geschmackvolle nächtliche Beleuchtung. Das Haus liegt ruhig und fußläufig zu den Alignements de Carnac. Zum Ortskern von Carnac sind es ca. 1km, nach Carnac-Plage bzw. zu den Stränden ca. 3km. Wir haben aber trotz Hauptsaison (Ende Juli) immer einen Parkplatz in diesem charmanten Ort gefunden. Die Lage des Hauses bietet einen guten Startpunkt, um die Gegend und weitere Orte (bspw. die Halbinsel Quiberon, La-Trinité-Sur-Mer, Auray und Vannes) zu erkunden. Herr Filho war ein außerordentlich aufmerksamer, stets erreichbarer, höflicher und freundlicher Gastgeber. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Urlaub!

Ce séjour était tout simplement magnifique! Maison au calme avec jardin fleuri, proche des alignements, plage à 5min en voiture. Plusieurs jeux de société et d'extérieur sont à disposition. La maison est bien équipée. Nous y reviendrons!

Maison et jardin charmants près des alignements de Carnac

La maison est accueillante, confortable et au calme, un peu à l'écart du centre ville, dans un hameau qui jouxte les alignements de mégalithes, avec des départs de sentiers tout près. Le jardin a beaucoup de charme et les repas sur la terrasse sont un plaisir. Le propriétaire, très gentil au téléphone, a fourni des indications très claires sur l'arrivée. Le seul bémol: après avoir fonctionné sans problème pendant 2 jours, le Wifi est devenu très capricieux.

Sejour parfait!

Allez y les yeux fermés! La propriété est encore mieux que sur les photos, propreté parfaite, cuisine tres bien equipée "comme a la maison" mais aussi jeux de sociétés, d'exterieur, livres. Literie excellente. La maison est parfaitement au calme, dans un environnement tres agréable (le jardin est sublime), proche du centre. Mention particuliere pour la disponibilité et l'amabilité des propriétaires qui ont rendu notre sejour des plus agréable. Merci!

Très agréable séjour à Carnac dans une très belle maison.

Location en tous points conformes à la description. Cuisine très bien équipée. Literie confortable. Très beau jardin, bien équipé également. Contact très aisé avec Édouard qui s’est assuré que le séjour se passait bien. Je recommande cette location, dans laquelle j’aurai plaisir à revenir.

Charme et Caractère

Très belle longère agrémentée d'un jardin magnifique. l'équipement est parfait, bonne literie. Le propriétaire très attentif à notre bien être, nous avons passé 3 belles semaines à découvrir la région depuis un emplacement idéal près des menhirs... toute une histoire...
