Four Bedroom "Tree Cottage"

- MAX. NUMBER OF CARS: THREE (3), AT ALL TIMES. They must be parked, in tandem, under the house at all times. Street parking is NOT available/allowed in this area.

Welcome to 1013 Thrasher Court, a Sparrow Pond cottage located on the West Beach in Kiawah Island, SC. This 'Tree House' cottage is a 4 BR/ 3 BA elevated property situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, only a 5 minute walk to the community pool and 7 minute walk to the beach.

Enjoy the 30 miles of paved bike or walking trails along all of Kiawah Island's beautiful landscapes. The 10 miles of private beach is a great spot for a bike ride, leisurely walk, and relaxation. You can also enjoy all the different Golf and Tennis facilities the island have to offer. Freshfields is just a short drive or bike ride away for your shopping and dining convenience. Enchanting Charleston is only a 30- minute drive from Kiawah Island.

The spacious living/dining area is open, comfortable and displays a dining table which features a bench and four chairs. The updated kitchen has everything you need to serve family and friends. Its peninsula opens to a second sitting area surrounded by full height windows. From this open and spacious living area, step out onto the screen porch and enjoy the wooded view. This lovely home also features a wrap- around outdoor deck and gas grill.

A kids bedroom is on the left of the entrance displaying a children's bunk bed, with a double sized mattress on the bottom and twin bed on top; a T.V set up with built in DVD and VHS player is provided to view the extensive children's movie collection stored under the bed. A second bedroom holds two twin beds. The shared bathroom has all the amenities, including a hair dryer.

The master suite offers a king sized bed, walk-in closet and private bath. The master bath also provides a tub/whirlpool combination and two separate sinks. The second suite, just right to the living area offers a queen sized bed and private bath. Basic Cable, high speed Internet and Wi- Fi are available.

- All 7 day reservations are from Saturday to Saturday.
- You have access to all PUBLIC Kiawah Island amenities EXCEPT: NIGHT HERON POOL, NEW WEST BEACH POOL, RIVER GOLF COURSE AND CASSIQUE GOLF COURSE.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave a load of towels washing. If you can wash and dry a load of sheets or towels, that will be extremely helpful.
Please strip bed linens and place them inside the pillow case. Leave on top of the bed.
Please leave the dirty towels that are not being washed on the floor of the bathroom
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All noise outside the house must end by 11:00 pm
All cars must be parked within the house property at all times. Street parking is not allowed. Maximum number of cars: 3

Exceeded all our expectations

We stayed for a week over Easter break and felt so at home in this cozy cottage. We biked to night heron park and fresh fields and it is so close to the beach! We couldn’t have asked for anything more out of this property for our family of 6 to enjoy our vacation. Thank you and we definitely plan to stay here again!

This was a perfect house for our vacation with four kids and four adults. Location was perfect, easy walk to beach and pool, and then kitchen was nicely stocked. Communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Weekend!

This was our first trip to Kiawah and we had the greatest time! Beaches and property are so beautiful. Location of the cottage was perfect for biking to beach & pool. The house was ideal for our family, it was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. We hope to be back!

Perfect stay for multiple families

We had a great stay in kiawah and this was the perfect house for our group -- my family of 5 (2 toddlers and a newborn) and both sets of grandparents (soon 6 adults in total). There was plenty of space for everyone and a few different sitting areas to choose from. The kitchen was really well stocked which was helpful for cooking dinners at night. It was in a great location and easy to walk to the beach and pool. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great stay

This is a nice little house in the trees with an amazing screened porch!! Plenty of room for our family of 8 plus 3 kids. Well equipped kitchen and a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately, we could not use the pool because of COVID 19.

Wonderful home and location

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely and well-appointed beach home. The couches and beds were very comfortable, and you couldn't ask for a more well-stocked kitchen with lots of silverware, dishes, and glasses. We enjoyed having several places to comfortably sit and chat (the screened porch is my favorite), and the proximity to shopping/restaurants and the beach couldn't be beat. Just wish we had more time!

Perfect Cottage Retreat

We had a terrific stay and enjoyed every minute of our time in this charming cottage which fit our family's multi-generational needs perfectly. Loved the layout of the kitchen and sitting areas to allow for conversation coupled with the privacy of the bedrooms located at the corners of the cottage. Also very much enjoyed the community pool and regularly utilized the bikes we brought with his to the property to explore the surrounding trails as well as quick rides to the beach. Looking to rebook for next year!

We are Richard and Alina Bartlett, the owners of 1013 Sparrow Pond Cottage. Both of our children learned to ride bikes, roller blade, fishing and crabbing in Kiawah. Every summer we host our extended family from Florida and every Thanksgiving we share the good times with those from Canada. We wish every one of our guests lasting and unforgettable memories.

Why they chose this property

During our 10th wedding anniversary we visited Kiawah, a Real Estate Agent and the rest is history. We chose this Barrier Island because of its natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere, miles of bike paths, and shallow safe beach, a must with small children.

What makes this property unique

1013 Sparrow Pond is located in the area we like to call “historic Kiawah” or the West End of the island. It is close to the Main Gate and easy access to Freshfields Village. We are a few minutes’ walk to both the neighborhood pool and the beach. A short bike ride on the beach will take you to the West End of the island where the river meets the sea and where you can experience haunting sunsets and plenty of marine life. The tidal pools are great fun for the young ones. We are also a short walking distance from the Cougar Point Golf Course and the West End Tennis Center.
