The Villa MareMonti was lovely - plenty of room for our group, large private outdoor terrace with a great view, on a quiet street while still close to restaurants and stores. The host was welcoming, responsive and helpful. We would recommend this place.

Great apartment in an excellent location

Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Maremonti. The apartment is very well equipped and clean and the location was excellent. Carlo and Maurizio were very helpful in helping us plan our stay and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return one day.

Location was perfect for touring the city. Walkable distances to access beach, restaurants and shopping. Apartments were clean and had access to large patio, great for morning coffee and late afternoon wine. Washer was easy to use- drying required use of folding rack. No paper products - napkins nor paper towels provided. Market is walkable distance.

Fabulous stay at a wonderful property!

My family of five absolutely loved our stay in Taormina. The check in process was very smooth and the property extremely clean. We really appreciated having two apartments with five bedrooms in total. Carlos' family is lovely, his sister and father helped us settle in and explained directions to favourite attractions. We highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Patio - Awesome Stay

My family of 5 had a wonderful time while here at Villa Maremonte. The patio was perfect with plenty of room and beautiful views. Francesca and Carlo were wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend Villa Maremonte.

Great location

Taormina is one of our favorite places. Carlo was extremely nice, friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. Close to town; across the street is the tram to the beach; and location has easy car access. Definitely would stay here again.

Fantastic view, great stay!

This property is so cute and located in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. It is really 2 separate apartments up and down that share a huge outdoor courtyard with lots of seating. We genuinely enjoyed our time here. It was a fantastic way to explore Taormina.

Amazing!

The house was perfect! We rented both the lower level and upper level apartments. Both were immaculately clean and very spacious. We enjoyed dinner and drinks on the fantastic terrace with the best view on the Taormina gulf. It was also a perfect location, near the center of town, the steps to the beach and transportation. Highly recommended!!

Absolute perfection. Beautiful villa overlooking the sea, easy walk to the shops and restaurants, with a wonderful host. Can’t imagine a better place for a family or several couples. The villa is huge - two separate apartments, two kitchens, two washers. Each bedroom has a large queen/matrimonial bed. We were able to park safely on the ground level. Maurizio was super responsive and went out of his way to help us. Wonderful stay - I would absolutely stay there again.

Best location and view

Carlos was so easy to book with and check in was easy to do especially getting into Taormina late at night. It was stocked well and the view and location was excellent. We were 8 couples so it worked perfectly with 2 couples staying downstairs having their own bedroom and bath and shared a kitchen/sitting area. Then we had 2 couples stay upstairs with each having our own bedroom and hall bath and shared a kitchen area The view from upstairs was stunning! The only negative was we had 1 set of towels for each person for the 3 days we were there, so be prepared to wash and hang dry. Everything else was perfect and the host was friendly and accommodating!

Great, but not really a house

Wonderful host, location and view. The rental is not exactly a house but two apartments a floor apart, with separate entrances. May not work for all family arrangements, but fine for two couples. Spotlessly clean. There is not, however, any place to sit snd relax, at least on the lower floor, other than the kitchen table or the outdoor terrace, which may not always be desirable. The baths are top notch, but the beds are slightly uncomfortable. All in all, a great place, but could use some improvement.

Charming property in great location

This property is actually 2 apartments connected by outside stairs that share a magnificent terrace across from the gondola to the beach. It has old world charm with modern elements. It is in an exceptional location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and historical sites. The air conditioning was great and the bedrooms were spacious. The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable but we all slept fine. We met the host’s parents who live on the top floor apartment of the building. They were welcoming and his father checked on us once to ensure all was well. There is good information in the guest books in the apartments and the wi-fi is good. Be prepared to pay to tourist tax in cash (euros) upon arrival. I was told that it would be 1euro per person per day but upon arrival I was told it was 3 euros per person per day. All in all we had a lovely visit and I definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful home and SO convenient in Taormina!

First, Carlo was a wonderful host - communicates quickly and easy on WhatsApp, wasn't bothered when we needed help, and chatted with us while we waited for family to arrive! We rented the first and second floor apartments for a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for our family of 8 and it was PERFECT! The two apartments were clean, and bright, and just perfect inside! The terrace was the perfect place to sit in the morning, in the evening, and at night with views of the ocean and people walking by below. The location is also PERFECT! We walked across the street to get to the cable car to go to the beach (that means when you are coming home from the beach and you are hot and tired and want a drink, then you are immediately THERE! The location is also a 3-minute walk from all of the restaurants and shops - this meant were close and it was convenient, but we also were far enough away that it wasn't loud. We would DEFINITELY go back!

Outdoor relaxation.

Carlos greeted us at the door and was attentive to all our needs the four days we stayed. He helped us navigate transportation. The patio and view were a highlight. Getting to the shore was a breeze with the cable car across the street. Our multi-generation family of 9 people highly recommend this place for its convenient and quiet location.

Amazing property and experience

Location was fantastic. 1-2 minute walk and you have stores, restaurants and shopping. Just amazing location. We rented both floors for 8 adults and it was perfect. The outside terrace is very large and a great place to have a drink and relax. The owner and his entire family were very helpful and made us feel like extended family. The owner also helped us arrange a gourmet meal cooked by a local chef and his staff. We visited 4 cities while in Italy and this VRBO was our favorite. We will definately return to spend time with our new friends

Paradise!

What a beautiful spot. We were in Taormina for a family wedding and it was great, everyone being able to stay together in one place and spend the evenings together enjoying some italian wine and admiring the view. Maurizio was a fantastic host!

Best accommodation in Taormina

This villa consists of 2 fully self contained 2 bedroom apartments with a/c, a garage for your car. There is also a massive terrace overlooking the sea. The location is perfect, directly in front of the cable car which takes you to the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to the historic center. Maurizio was the perfect host, very polite and friendly and always available to answer questions and give advice. I can definitely recommend Maurizio's villa.
