Stayed here for a week in August. Apartment was beautiful and we were so comfortable and loved being in the apartment. The only downfall was the street noise. There was construction right below the apartment going on. This did make having the windows open very difficult. Nevertheless, the beauty of the apartment overcame the noise.

Stunning apartment in a lovely location

The apartment was beautiful, elegant and comfortable. A lovely place to come home to after a day exploring Paris. There is a metro station right outside but far nicer is the riverside walk or a stroll through the jardin des plantes. Highly recommended.

A week in Paris

This is a classic Parisian apartment. Lots of light, spacious, beautiful antique furniture. Great location and the Metro is right outside the door. Can’t say enough good things about it. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Marc is a wonderful host.

Exquisite apartment in a convenient location!

The photos don't lie - this is an exquisite and fancy apartment, and our whole family really enjoyed staying here. It was comfortable, spacious, and well stocked. The property owner was friendly, helpful, and very responsive to our questions, and we found the location to be convenient and enjoyable.

Paris Bourgeois Apt - Gare Austerlitz

Beautiful vintage apartment. Great classic decor. Large rooms with a nice kitchen and full bath (the ensuite bath is less serviceable). Excellent transportation access.

Wonderful time in Paris

I love the Parisian architecture and being able to stay in one of these buildings was fantastic. The place was very convenient with access to the Metro steps away from the building. There were a number of great food options within easy walking distance.

Fantastic location

Wow, what a wonderful property! Loved the decor, and it's so, so convenient for the Metro, the Monoprix is right downstairs, there are boulangeries left, right and centre, and some bistros as well. Reslly easy to navigate from! Mind the lift if you're a bit claustrophobic - but its very quick. The whole place was clean as a pin, and our hosts were really easy to contact. Can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely stay in spacious, comfortable apartment

Apartment was clean, comfortable, close to transit, grocery store, and pastries! The home is spacious, and warm in the cold weather. The host Marcus, and Yvonne were so helpful getting us settled in and familiarized with the area. We had everything we needed for a New Years week in Paris. Thank you Marcus & Yvonne!

Great place stay!

Loved the apartment and the neighborhood. Marc was a great host. Plenty of space for me, my husband and our 18yo daughter. Loved how close the metro was. Monoprix was just two doors over. Will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Paris!

Lovely Flat

Marc and his lovely partner met us at the flat and showed us everything. The place is beautiful and filled with gorgeous antiques. The location was so convenient as you are right above a metro stop and two doors down from the grocery store. There were three of us and we felt like we had plenty of room . This is the perfect apartment for a family. 3 spacious rooms, comfortable beds, all the amenities you could need. Steps away from the Metro, easy to get anywhere. Our stay in Paris was that much better having stayed here. The hosts are easy to work with, very responsive.

Amazing Stay

Where to begin. First of all, the host Marc greeted us at the property and was so gracious and friendly. Communication was thorough and he was always available if we needed anything. The location was perfect. The metro line is right outside the front door, or you could walk the 20 minutes to Notre dame. There is a little grocery store 2 doors down and around the corner there are a lot of great little bistros for a quick bite.The property was super clean, very spacious, and had lots of light. Elegantly decorated but not stuffy. I noticed some reviewers mentioned that it was noisy because it's on a main street and across from a hospital. Personally, me and my friends had no problem with noise at all. My friends and I agreed that we would stay there again and again.

Paris Apartment

Overall we were very well pleased with the apartment, it’s location and the value. It is a very nice place and convenient to many of Paris’s major attractions. The subway and grocery store are just about 30 steps away from the front door. The cleanliness of the floors was not quite up to my wife’s standards and she spent the first hour we were there vacuuming. Overall we give the accommodations high marks. It is a very beautiful apartment and we would definitely recommend it and would consider staying there again if we ever returned to Paris.

We stayed for a week during the Olympics The apartment is very spacious in an excellent location. We were able to go all over Paris by Metro and sometimes by taxi. The metro is right below. The taxi is right across the street. All the venues were under a half hour.. The money free right below the apartment was super convenient Delicious food. Paris is getting a little bit hotter in the summer, But the flipside was, we had wonderful weather during the day. I would highly recommend this apartment and the hosts for families.

Family holiday in Paris

The apartment was not very clean. It was very noisy: 1. Right across the street from a big hospital with ambulances coming and going all night. 2. On a very busy street with traffic 24/7. 3. The trains ran until at least midnight right across the street. All of this would not be a huge problem in cool weather when the windows were closed. The sheets, towels, pillows were all of poor quality. Thin and very old and used. We were never told that you could not put toilet paper down one of the toilets. Finally, they accused us ( 5 adults, ages 60-86) of stealing 2 pairs of their child’s shoes; of using the towels and sheets to polish our shoes ( we only wear sneakers!) and of leaving dirty dishes in the sink! The reason for posting these lies is so that they could charge us an extra 300 euros. I am currently fighting this charge through my bank. Oh yes, Marc has said that since we used 9 towels over the week, there must have been more than the contracted 5 people staying! I regret having booked this Paris apartment.

Old Paris Charm

Great location and close to Martel Metro and a market. It took us awhile to hook up to wifi as we were given an incorrect number and had to look at modem to hook up. Once we figured that out, wifi was great. A large apartment but much of the “sitting” furniture was very dated and uncomfortable to sit on. Many antique objects about so I wouldn’t recommend with families with small children. Apartment was not stocked with normal things like shower soap, salt, pepper, sugar (basic condiments usually found) paper towels,clean scrubbing pads, etc. As we cooked breakfast daily, it made cooking less than desirable. If you’re not cooking, this won’t bother you. Both ladies in our group felt that the kitchen needed a good reorganization and stocking of essential condiments for coffee/or cooking an egg in the morning. Though taxis are sometimes across the street during day, we had a difficult time securing one for our departure day. Our “booked” driver did not show up and left us stranded. We almost missed our train. Maybe using Uber might have been a better choice. There is a small 2 person elevator to reach the apartment. The apartment and building are very secure which is nice. So there are pros and cons with this apartment so research carefully what is important to you. If you want the feel of an old Paris apartment with metro across the street, this is for you!
